The price dropped as much as 50% compared as when I first decided to purchase it...... the shelves are thick smoked gray as advertised very sturdy product. The only thing I would warn the consumer. If you want to center this product and there are no studs. Purchase a couple of drywall medium size toggle bolts for self security and stability. I highly recommend this product. And for this product is would be a good ideal to fish your elect and cable plug to hide behind the mounted LED/LCD Screen
