Household Essentials Floor to Ceiling Revolving Shoe Tree Holds 36 Pairs

After much consideration, I decided to try this shoe tree for a vertical space in my entry way. I have way too many shoes, and my 3 sons and husband each have 3 or 4 pairs they like to keep by the door as well. I did not want a storage unit for the closet since it's a small space and already full. And an over-the-door shoe hanger wasn't an option for this space either.

This shoe rack holds a ton of shoes 36 pairs. It took everything my previous rack held and has room to spare. It was very easy to set up no tools required aside from the allen wrench included in the package. I did it myself in about 15 minutes, including loading it up with shoes.

Be sure the space you choose has room around it for the shoes to move since each carousel rotates for easy location. My two concerns are :

1the clamp that holds each carousel up is made of plastic. I wonder if they will break over time with a heavy load and repeated usage

2 the individual tines that hold each pair of shoes are spaced a bit tightly. Women's shoes fit fine but men's can be crowded.

Overall this design is perfect for the space I have.

I read other reviews and since they were mostly positive ones, I thought I would purchase it for myself since I have many pairs of shoes. It cleared up my entrance and now it looks much neater. The only negative comment I would say is that it is made mostly for women's shoes. I tried putting my husband's shoes on the rack and you actually have to leave a space between each pair because his shoes are much bigger than mine. Other than that, I highly recommend this shoe tree. In fact I have purchased a smaller one (3 tier) that will remain in my entrance. Great product!

Great idea, but make sure you have the correct measurement for your closet floor-ceiling. I was off on mine, but I made a fix by setting the base atop something else to close the gap. However the bigger issue was as is usual nowadays the screw (basic hardware application to assemble the base) was too thin to tighten in the base, so a visit to the hardware store, carrying the assembly rod with me. (I have this problem so routinely on items I have to assembly, I asked the hardware store guy why this is such an issue and he said that when it comes to customer assembly items it is routine for workers to just fill the package by grabbing whatever is on the shelf.) The purchased screw fit fine but then the washer was off, so we had to go hunting for stuff to make do. The Seller was okay on shipping the item and it arrived in good condition, but the item itself may be a slight headache.

Not the prettiest looking as the shoes are held with the bottoms out but it does hold securely the amount of shoes advertised using very little floor space. Sturdier then I expected for the price.
