Rev-A-Shelf 565-8-52 Wall 8" Door Mount Spice Rack - Wire-White

The Rev-A-Shelf spice rack is functional. It has four shelves, the bottom one wider than the other three, and it was easy to install. A word of caution, however. I ordered it to place in the door of a wall mounted cabinet, and when looking at it I felt certain it would fit between the shelves with little problem. But when I was visualizing that fit, I failed to consider how it would be with spices in it. The cabinet shelves came too close to the cabinet door and there wasn't enough room for the spice rack when it was full. A floor corner cabinet ended up working out great as the cabinet shelves were further back from the door. Shipping was timely.

We had a fairly narrow cabinet that all of our spices were just thrown into. We already owned all the spice jars, so we did not need or want the racks that are usually out there that come with pre-labeled bottles. The mounted to the door easily enough and does it's job of holding jars of spices. As with any after-market product, getting it to line up perfectly with the shelves in the cabinet so that the jars fit on and don't keep the cabinet from closing by banging into the shelves is a challenge. Some of the jars can't be used on this because they are too tall and there's no way to fit them in between the shelf openings.

It wasn't easy to find a behind-the-door spice rack that fits behind my old kitchen cabinet doors. This one does, and fits all my spices. Altogether, a very convenient, space-saving product. Once loaded though, it gets quite heavy, so take care during installation. Works best on thick kitchen cabinet doors.

This item was much too small for the task I needed it to fulfill. I ended up going to Wal-Mart and purchasing another piece of shelving that was better suited.
