Ikea Grundtal Long Shelf Stainless Steel

I have bought 3 of these here on Amazon. One of them came with a defective part and I have to send it back. One of the bars for the shelf was 1/2 an inch shorter than the rest. Weird.

My only other complaint is that you pretty much HAVE to get more brackets. IF you want to have anything remotely heavy on the shelf.

They look great. I love them.

We decided to go this way instead of getting a bakers rack. We have 2 shelves as pictured and one rail below. Very strong! Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is it would be nice if Ikea made these in lengths that correspond with standard stud spacing. I installed one end into a stud then had to use anchors for the other end. Everyone who comes into our home loves the way the Ikea ensemble looks. Our favorite comments include: "How perfect", and "Very gourmet!"

I had one of these in my old apartment and loved it, so when I moved in with my boyfriend we bought this and installed it over the sink in the kitchen. We don't have much cabinet storage space, so this opens up some space for other things. It's plenty sturdy to hang several pans on it, where they are easy to access, and it's also a nice-looking rack, especially if you buy pretty hooks to go with it. Definitely recommend.
