I started buying this shelving a few months ago for my entrance. I started with the 48" units, and moved to the 36" units for my basement. I bought 2 units, but by joining the units you save poles and can make 3 units out of 2. These units are very versatile, and so easy to assemble. I bought the 24" deep shelving units so that I can store Rubbermade Roughtotes lengthwise. By purchasing extra poles, I also made some of them taller for a vaulted ceiling.
