This shelf bracket was actually larger than I thought, but as it turned out, it was perfect. I put a 6'x 12" shelf above the door in my outdoor shed to put my crafts and baskets. I hung the baskets from a bamboo pole which was used as my rod. Perfect choice. I am getting ready to order 4 more for above my windows in the shed for extra storage.
