I've had chrome NSF shelving for years now. One of the great things I like about it is the ability to take it with you when you move. Further, NSF shelving is overbuilt because it is made for heavy industrial use. My recent addition is for a food storage closet (pantry).1. Shelving alignment: Sometimes, when I have purchased NSF shelving, one of the shelves can be off a bit, creating a real problem trying to get the shelves to line up with the posts. There was no alignment issues. 5 Stars.
2. Chrome Finish: The chrome was not perfect, and clearly there were some small areas that didn't have any chrome. 3 stars.
3. Quality: It appears that some of the metal wires were cut short, and the welds to the post holes had to be extended. This makes the shelves less strong and I would consider these factory 2nds. However, because I am using these for home use, I am never going to be putting the same demands on them as they would have been built for. 3 stars.
4. Shipping: The items arrived on time and in good condition. 5 stars
Even though I rated these as overall 4 stars, they are still an excellent value to any home owner looking for sturdy shelving for food storage, especially for heavy canned goods.
