This desk came earlier than expected, but came with damages: corner of desk was smashed and there were scratches and dents on the legs. The table was easy to put together with clear instructions (although a little confusing if you look at the diagrams). It is very sturdy. It's a good enough size for a college student trying to save space. The two shelves doesn't offer much space, but it's manageable if you don't have a lot of things. I bought this last week to use in my living room as a media center. I couldn't be happier with it. I was able to put it together by myself in about an hour. You will need a screwdriver and they provide everything else! You do noty need a power drill, if so, then you need to enlist the help of someone smarter than you. The holes are pre-drilled and the right size for all the screws. If it doesn't fit, you are probably putting it in the wrong hole. Just take your time and read the instructions.
