For the price, its sturdier than I thought. Shelves are nice height for notebook binders. Easy to assemble as long as you don't follow the directions. Step one was to install the feet into the first shelf, then turn the shelf over. When you do, the feet fall off. Once the first set of riser are in, the feet stay put.

Also when assembling, make sure all the seams on the shelves are on the same side (facing the wall).

I really can't say anything bad about this little shelving display. I ordered it to serve as a sort of bedside table and it's performed beautifully thus far. The assembly was a breeze and the maintenance on it is easy wipe down with a dry cloth to keep the dust away and occasionally run a damp cloth over it to keep things looking spiffy. The color is spot on with everything else "espresso" we own and all the shelves were in good condition when I opened the package.

It -isa bit wobbly, so definitely do as they say and place anything heavy on the BOTTOM, not the top. That really should be common sense, though, on something this tall and narrow.

I have an old, handmade grandfather clock case that had been gutted out when I bought it. I wanted to use the inside as an area where we could put stereo equipment but finding stock shelving has been a problem. We needed something less than 12 in. wide. Found it in this shelf unit. I LOVE that we did not need tool to put it together. Everything screwed in place. It is not the most sturdy of units but then it was not bought for its sturdyness. No one is going to have access to it. The particle board shelves are a little worrysome but the clock case has vents for the speakers so fumes are not a problem. This should not be considered a stand alone unit where children are around, but for adults or as storage in a closet it will work out fine.

Received this corner shelf and one of the four legs was missing. Asking for the part to be shipped to me is not an option. I have managed to find something in my house appropriately sized to function as a missing leg, because returning the whole thing for a refund (replacement of the whole is also not an option!) seemed like quite a hassle for a $22 shelf. Other than the missing part, I like the shelf and have put it to use.
