Deer Park BR109 Vine and Leaf Bakers Rack

I like the heavy iron construction of this unit. It comes with a rust colored appearance which will help conceal the rust that ultimately will form on it. After all, it is iron, so unless you diligently keep coating it with laquer it will rust. It came with a good coat of laquer so I hope the rust stays at bay for some time at least. The shelves detach from the sides and it all folds up nicely for winter storage. Looks great on our outdoor patio holding numerous potted plants.

Using this for my recipe books and to show off some plastic vines and plants in my kitchen. It is solid and looks great!

I was expecting this product to be black. Nothing in the description led me to believe otherwise. It is attractive in the photo. However, it is not black, it looks like rusty brown and it is crooked. It leans to the left ever so slightly but it is obvious to anyone. I would have returned it but my husband destroyed and recycled the box before I had a chance to do so. If we keep it, we are going to take it apart, take it to a friend's plant and have it powder-coated black and then reassemble it hopefully straight. This is the first product purchased online that I am unhappy with.

I am extremely pleased not only with the fast delivery and excellent packaging, but with the quality of this product. The Bakers rack is strong, well-built, and great-looking. I'm so glad it's not the black color that most bakers racks seem to be. It's kind of a burnished bronze color and looks great in my kitchen.

This rack was purchased specifically to hold my entire collection of Le Creuset cast-iron cookware. I called the company, Deer Park, to be sure it would hold that kind of weight and they told me it would. They were right.

The item is well packaged in a flat wide box. The ease of set up was unquestionably one of the best assets of this product. The shelves are folded upwards against the back of the rack and the sides are then folded in. To set it up simply tilt the entire rack backwards a couple of inches open the sides and the shelves will drop down into place immediately. There are metal pegs attached to each edge of the shelves which correspond to the holes that they press into. That's it, no tools, no screws, no partsjust open and push down on the shelves. The whole setup took less than 60 seconds. The shelves are designed as a grid so that if you want to use this outdoors for plants water will freely flow through. Yet they are sturdy enough to hold cast-iron cookware. I posted a couple of photos on the site to show you what it looks like. I would highly recommend not only the product itself but Deer Park for their very, very prompt delivery and great customer service.

I have this rack in my sunroom. It is attractive and holds a lot of my potted plants. I've gotten a lot of positive comments about the style and color. I'll probably order another one soon, it would look great in my lower level bathroom holding towels, toiletries, etc.
