Despite the fact that the shelf requires six holes for mounting, it still manages to feel unstable. But the biggest problem is that the mounting screws come packaged inside the metal tubes of the mounting bracket, which is tapered at the ends. Sometimes you can get the screws out, sometimes they arrive at your house jammed together so tightly you'll never shake, pry, twist, or pull them loose.

If you're lucky and the shelf goes up easily, the unit looks great. Not nearly as useful as it is decorative, but if it's not supposed to hold anything substantial you should be fine.

But it's a major pain getting the shelf up in the first place.
