This type of product has been on the market for several years, but I tried to find it locally in hardware and home improvement stores with no luck. I was glad to find it still available through Amazon. My elderly mother's home had gotten an infestation of roaches and some other type of small bug. I wanted the paper to help get rid of them and hopefully keep them from coming back. I thought the price for a set of 3 rolls was very reasonable.

This stuff has been on the market at least since I was a wee tot (and I'm now almost 49), my mom used it all the time, even though I can't say we ever had a major problem with ants or bugs. (Maybe because she used this product.) She used it all over the kitchen, pantry, and in dressers, etc. But anywhere that food or dishes were stored, or if it would come in contact with towels, dainties, etc, she just put a layer of regular shelf paper on top of it so the insecticidal paper wouldn't come in contact with those things. That will be up to you, but I have been searching high and low for this since I am having a major ant problem. I am having to store everything in containers with tight lids, even unopened things that come in plastic bags like brown sugar. I'm glad I found it here and if it works as well as it used to, it will be a big help. One last hint: my mom would re-do all the shelves once a year, at least in the kitchen and pantry, for 'spring cleaning'. I imagine the insecticide will wear off after awhile, so it's a good idea. I have used this product for years, but have been unable to find it locally. I use it wherever I have paper products, it really keeps the silverfish away. I also put some in the boxes of Christmas decorations, boxes of linens and other things that attract bugs when I store them in the garage. I have never experienced any damage to the fabric or paper that it comes in contact with. Although I do not have pets or small children, if used properly there should be no problem with using it around either.
