I use this shelf liner for a basement wire type storage shelf. I set cans and bottles on the shelf, over the liner. It work well. It adds stability to the items that set on it. It is semi-transparent so that it lets available light through.It is a great low cost shelf liner for wire shelves. It saved me significant amounts of money & time over purchasing and custom cutting shelve tops for the wires.
It would be helpful if it were a little heavier duty but it does the job.
