The product was OK, but didn't fit my post, so I had to return it. I found out that the 1-inch dimension refers to the diameter of the post, not the clip. But it wasn't so I measured the external dimension of the clip I had, ordered the wrong part and had to return it. Minus 1-start for bad product description.

These worked great on a Professional's Choice InterMetro shelving unit I bought second hand and wanted to modify.
