4 stars only because i was under the impression that it was a solid espresso color it is more wood grain espresso. Still nice though but I was hoping it would match the Badger Baskets we ordered to put underneath this shelf.

Cute and cheaper (and still good quality) than Land of Nod's version!

Pleasantly surprised at the quality of this item. There is not cardboard back like so many other similar products by other manufacturers. Would definitely recommend this to others!

This fits well under low windows, yet stands tall enough for an average sized 4 year old to stand and play with toys on the top surface.

As of 04/20/2012, the main title "Kidkraft Single Storage Unit" and picture are wrong. This item is the Kidkraft Storage Unit with Shelves, model 14179.

If you are indeed looking for the Single Storage Unit, model 14177, do a search on amazon for the model number. Don't pay attention to the picture with that one either. Look for the model number.

I bought this one after I bought the other one thinking it was this one (sorry if that doesn't make sense). I finally ordered this because I was looking for the Storage Unit with Shelves and that's what this is.

I've made Amazon aware of this so hopefully they'll correct it soon.

As for the unit itself, it was packed very well and it only took about 15 minutes to assemble. I'm fairly handy and have assembled more Ikea items than I'd like to remember so I'm very familiar with this type of construction. I bought the double storage bin unit and have this unit sitting on top. They nest over each other very well and I think it looks really nice.

Originally, I was eying Land of Nod's similar product, but I couldn't convince myself to spend almost twice as much (when shipping is added).

I'm happy with this purchase and expect these shelves to last a long time.
