I would recommend this very flexible system for any DIY, it make a great closet. However I found that the melamine finish--at least in the white--to be extremely thin and brittle. It chips and flakes easily.Take extreme care during installation, the slightest bump will cause damage. My other disappointment was that the packaging doesn't do a good job of protecting the corners; I ordered two sets of these nice shoe shelves,the first set set arrived with dings and gashes on edges of one shelf, the second set came with all the corners on three shelves crushed and were returned.Save 12% Off
