Tray Five-Shelves Corner Display Cabinet / Stand in Coffee Bean

Definitely a good quality piece of furniture for the price paid and looks as good as advertised, but....Man, was this a pain in the ass to assemble.

This is a good enough piece of furniture once you've got it assembled, but I'm taking off three stars because of the assembly problems.

Looking at the unit, once would think it would be easy to assemble however, the instructions are impressively bad. The unit has to be put together in a specific order but a couple key pieces aren't numbered so you have to spend time putting it together in your head.

Several screws are in cramped spaces that really require a right-angle screwdriver to get tightened properly. Fortunately, I have one but people who don't will have issues.

Six important screws at the bottom were neither pre-drilled nor marked. Four of those were in a curved corner which made getting them in and properly tightened almost a carpenter's-level problem.

I'm knocking off a fourth star because the front page of the instructions has a 30-point font message about how putting together furniture can be difficult for the average person and that you need to take care to properly read the instructions and take your time....

The message is fine when you begin putting the cabinet together but by the time you've dealt with the incomplete instructions, lousy screw placement and missing pre-drilled holes, the message feels snide and condescending because all of the problems associated with putting this together were the manufacturer's fault.
