This is a typical wired shelf you might find in a restaurant kitchen. The assembly was intuitive enough to make up for the lackluster instructions. It took about 20 minutes to put together. Highly recommended and works as advertised. It's not a cheap, lightweight shelf that will bend with ease. I also found out from the manufacturer's website that it is coated with the antimicrobial Microban material. I didn't know that until after I bought it.
