The item; comprised of loosely compressed fiber board. The finish is aken to the durability of a black plastic trash bag. Now...if your still want to purchase this item you had better want it. I received mine damaged. The construction made it impossible to make due with. No foundation by which to mend. AMAZON.COM does not stand by return policy. My claim was denied. Can't imagine under what curcumstances a claim is valid if not a damaged purchase upon receipt. After the claim denial they no longer communicated with me. I am out of $260.00. I am not a Rockafella. Advice; "let the buyer beware."

I am pleased with the product but disappointed with the company.

The product is as described reasonable quality, easy to assemble, affordable and looks good.

The problems I experienced was with the company's response rate. While I received the item in a reasonable time, two major issues came up. The company failed to note that the product would arrive in two shipments and no packing slip was provided with the first shipment (therefore creating confusion after the first shipment arrived and made it necessary to follow up). Second issue was that a part was missing from the package. I contacted the company but they did not respond right away. When they did get back to me, it took three months to send the missing part very unreasonable delay.

Its rare that I'll type a product review on Amazon, but I felt compelled to help potential future purchasers who are on the fence. If you order this bookcase from the featured merchant, don't expect to get it right way. From order to front door took more than 2 weeks. However, as far as the bookcase is concerned, I am very happy. It was easy to put together (I did it myself in about 2 hours) and the instructions are very clear. Unlike other customer reviews that claimed it was missing materials or came in two shipments, I had no issues what-so-ever. I was very impressed that it was packed with care. However, a couple of pieces of the wood were nicked (but nothing a black marker couldn't resolve). As far as how it looks now that it is complete my headline says it all. It is a solid, nice looking piece of furniture and will work with any modern decor. One more thing that I was surprised that no other customer review noted it has silver accents in the black paint finish. You can not tell this by looking at the picture. For me, it looks great with my decor (actually I prefer it this way!), but for those who want a strictly black finish, be forewarned. Overall, I do recommend this bookcase!

Beautiful bookshelf, and relatively easy to assemble. It was delivered promptly, very heavily packaged to ensure no damage during the delivery stages. Great deal considering I've seen similar bookshelves for $500+.

The product is just as described, and looks great. I actually did not mount the feet; although they look great, I found the unit to be sturdier without the feet and have piece of mind that it won't topple over if a little crawler were to pull on it... (tip: I also put a piece of anti-slip cabinet/drawer liner under the unit... I'm a safety maniac). I had one piece that was damaged. Since the pieces are all well labeled with their part number, it was easy for me to let the company know which piece it was. I received a replacement piece promptly. Great product and vendor.

This is a typical wired shelf you might find in a restaurant kitchen. The assembly was intuitive enough to make up for the lackluster instructions. It took about 20 minutes to put together. Highly recommended and works as advertised. It's not a cheap, lightweight shelf that will bend with ease. I also found out from the manufacturer's website that it is coated with the antimicrobial Microban material. I didn't know that until after I bought it. (They edited out the link)

I would have bought this from Amazon, and had it in my Cart for a long time. Unfortunately, it was always "Temporarily out of Stock." So, I found it through another major retailer, and purchased at a lower price.

This Rack is relatively easy to assemble. There is almost no small hardware to deal with. The instructions are pretty poor, without a single printed word. Fortunately, it is easy to figure out how to put together. It requires a fair amount of strong hammering. I used a regular hammer with a small wooden board under it to protect the rack rails. With no helper, joining the lower & upper pole sections is a bit tricky. Assembling the unit up against a wall or corner of a room is recommended. I used some masking tape to loosely keep the top section of the poles in place while joining them to the lower sections. Using the cardboard box top for assembly helps keep things in place, and will protect your floor during hammering.

This is a really Nice Looking unit. I love the off white color. It has a rich look to it. It is a Sturdy Quality Rack. Recommended!

I wrote review for this item and gave three star, but decided after using shelving unit to edit my review. This seller is extremely overpriced this shelving, I bought it from Home Depot site for $63.00 with free shipping. Second design of this unit is not the best. Four corner posts are made of two pieces each (which is completely stupid thing to do), so when you try to put it together and hummer next plank in, other planks which you already hammered in, keep sliding off, if you have another pair of hands makes it much easier. There are little hols in perimeter rails, I would assume for screwing shelves to metal rails, but no screws are provided. After saying all this and getting over experience of putting unit together, I like this shelving, it is stable and holds heavy stuff well.

Rev-A-Shelf CPDR-2635 CPDR Series 26" - 35" Pull-Down Closet Rod,

This is very useful for short people like me and was well constructed. It, however, could be better and since it is not inexpensive, I would have thought the makers would have considered some obvious things. The instructions said that when in the down position the center support should be placed on the ground for extra support. This is not shown this way in the photo. Obviously, that is because the support cannot be extended that long. It would have needed to be an easily adjustable rod that could be lengthened when down and shortened when up so that it fits in the cabinet. Also, not the easiest thing to install. I had a contractor install it and it took a couple of attempts. I'm glad I didn't do it myself.

The product install took about 20 minutes. Note that some of the photos show the unit being installed on the back wall of the cabinet, those are misleading as the pneumatic arms are screwed into the sides of the cabinet. I also had to adjust the length of the pull rod (it was about 3" too long for my cabinet).

My wife loves the simplicity of the design and provides exactly what we need when unloading the dryer. I'm happy because it promotes getting clean clothes out of the Laundry Room and into the closets :-) Another bonus is that you can still use the cabinet to store tall items! Just leave room in the center for the pull rod.

Nice gadget that works as designed.

This product is exactly as described. I thought it would be easier to pull down and push up. With the rod loaded it is very difficult for my 80 year old aunt in a wheelchair to work. I am in the process of replacing it with one that takes the load on springs or an electric motorized unit.

This hardware is great. I built an amour that is 8' tall in a 10'high wall room. Since it is not practical to have a closet rod almost 8' high. This solved the problem. You just pull it down and it pivots out and though you rod is a little under 8' when you pull it down it is around 5'. My wife loves it. It was a great investment for us, it's esthetically and functional home run.

Zenith 2623NN 24-Inch Three Shelf Free-Standing Spacesaver, Satin Nickel

I put this together as soon as it arrived. Gotta love that 2 day shipping :)

My main criteria for the shelf unit was #1 price, #2 looks, #3 fitting the space

#1 Price: This was one of the cheapest units that was Prime Eligible. I was looking for something not too expensive since it's going in a place that we are renting temporarily. I would have picked something of a little more substance if it was for our full time home.

#2 Looks: I like the 'Satin Nickel' color. It's pretty much a silver colored paint. I just didn't want the chrome shiny look. This is of acceptable quality, right where it should be for the price point. The joints where the tubes meet the sides are welded minimally, so you see little bits of open tubing. Overall though I think it looks good.

#3 Fitting: The toilet that this is going over has higher than usual plumbing with a couple short hoses stuck together in a pretty stiff configuration. Since I wasn't going to be able to move the hose up or down a little I needed something with high sides.

One big complaint I have is that the measurements on the website are incorrect. It says the unit is 12.5" deep, but in reality it is less than 11". The box that it comes in also states that it's 12.5" but it also has a picture on it with legs that taper out like this one Contemporary Bath Space Savers. It would appear that they changed the style of the shelf since the instructions still refer to the tapered leg even though the pictures in the instructions don't have any tapered pieces. So I am guessing that the 12.5" would be including the tapered out part at the very bottom, which would be disappointing as a dimension anyways. I'm just glad I didn't order the decorative boxes to go on it yet since the ones I was looking at are 12" and I thought they would fit perfectly.

I needed extra storage space in my small guest bathroom. This isn't the "prettiest" solution but it adds the additional storage space I need. I didn't realize the finish they were describing was a paint. The shelving is wide enough to fit things on without worrying about them falling into the commode. For smaller items you might want to use decorative baskets to keep them from falling through the grates. All and all the shelves fit my need.

pretty stable even though its clearly cheap. worth it for the price. wasnt easy to put together but I'm not a professional either. instructions could have been a bit more user friendly. I use it in my kitchen and put the garbage bin under it. i love the way it looks.

It wobbles, sticks way out past the top tank of the toilet and the brace bar across the back bottom is so high up you cant use it. So it wobbles. Wish they made something like these though that fit across the back of your washer and dryer.

This rack was purchased to hold file folders for various members of the family. The top opening is wide and can hold several magazines. The other openings are narrower, could hold probably only one magazine. They are perfect for a folder filled with papers for family members.

It's a little smaller than I anticipated, but it works perfectly for us in the space we designated. So, just read the dimensions and make sure you're aware of the size.

Overall, it's a great product. It's sturdy, functional, and looks good. I think I'm remembering correctly that it has a guide to use for hanging on the wall and it comes with plastic wall anchors, as well.

Nice rack. Came with a template to drill holes on the wall for the mounting screws. Wall anchors that come with it are useless though but you find those at a hardware store easy. The rack itself is made of wire mesh attached to a metal frame. It seems sturdy and is holding up well. I have these mounted in patient exam rooms that see heavy use everyday. The rack is handsome and looks professional.

I got this in THREE days. I love it. It is a sturdy piece of furniture. I bought it for my craft room to store fabrics and quilts in. It took my husband about two hours to put it together. What slowed him down was the BACK piece does have a TOP and BOTTOM direction to it which was not stated in the directions. The back panel is very thin but other than that I have NO complaints. I will buy two prettier knobs for it but I am VERY pleased with this purchase. It is a lot roomer than I expect which is always a plus!!

Update: I just ordered a second one since I needed even more storage. "Wayfair" has FREE shipping and the service is wonderful!!

I really like this storage cabinet. It looks good and was very easy to put together. It was also much more inexpensive than purchasing a previously assembled unit of this size, and then paying for delivery (I don't have a truck and you would need one to deliver a cabinet this large). The only thing that kept me from giving it 5 stars is the fact that the center divider and top shelf is necessary to hold the unit together. I really just wanted storage space, and did not plan on installing the shelving. I can still fit my vacuum and electric broom, but I had to carve out notches in the upper shelf so the handles would fit. We happen to have an electric saw so it was no big deal, but if you are expecting to utilize the entire interior without the shelving, this is probably not the best choice.

This item came well packaged. Made of steel I expected no damage but checked anyway and found none. I wanted something sturdy and boy does this fit the bill! I like that I can adjust some of the shelves on top and this is strong enough to place my all-in-one printer on top! I have seen it at varied prices and of course Amazon had the best!

This desk organizer has a nice configuration for effective use and was just the right size for my situation. But potential buyers should take note that the sheet metal from which this is made is rather flimsy. I'm sure that it will be functional, but it seems cheap from a material standpoint. Most disturbing is the fact that the item arrived damaged due to bent metal in one rear bottom corner and a couple of other minor dings. I had to use a rubber mallet to straighten it out for use. (No way that I wanted to send it back, as it is big and clunky, and I am not convinced that the next one would be OK.) Anyway, the shipping box was in perfect shape, so the damage did not occur during transit. Rather, it seems that the damaged item was packaged as such, which is telling about the poor quality control of the manufacturer. I hope that it can withstand the weight of books filling the top shelf. We shall see.
