Double TV Top Shelf

We bought a combo TV (TV/VCR/DVD) for the bedroom and needed a place to put our Tivo unit. The TV has a large footprint, but not much flat space on top. I looked and looked for a simple shelf to put on top to hold the Tivo unit, but amazingly couldn't find much. This shelf does the job perfectly. There's also a second shelf to put dvd's, videos, etc. One nice feature is the double sided adhesive they put on all four legs, so the shelf doesn't slide around and fall off the TV.

The shelf itself is ok looking. What I did not take into consideration was that the back feet that support and level the shelf on the back of my TV were about 4 inches to short to work on my TV. The feet only extend about three & ahalf inches screwed totally out. If I were concidering purchasing the shelf I would concider that before buying the item.

According to the product description it will fit TVs 13" and higher, but would not fit our 27" TV. The back support legs of the shelf are too short and very clumsy. The product description should also say that the shelf has to be attached to the TV with stickers to be stable. I expected the back legs to make it stable. The shelfs are very thin plastic, quite a cheap design. Did not work at all, but I am mostly upset about the product misrepresentation that it will fit all TVs 13" and higher.

I also had a difficult time with the company returning the item. I had to call twice just for a return label, and 6 weeks later they still have not refunded the price.

When I recieved the shelf it did not have the poles in the box to attach the top shelf. I emailed the company and did not recieve any response back from them. I had to use just the bottom shelf. I WILL NOT order anything else from these people,because they will not stand behind their products!

This shelf is flimsy, unstable and certainly not something you would want to trust any expensive electronic equipment on. Look for something else. This is a lemon.
