Bought these for closet shelving that I cut to fit. The price is much better than you can get at any of the box stores.

When you have to cut the shelf, it leaves the small wire ends exposed. I expected the small caps to cover these. Guess what -the don't! Too big! AND the large would cap a 1/4 inch bolt!! So, I will use them for other applications. Not what I expected!

I sawed a metal closet shelf in half, and these rubber ends cover the jagged metal edges. It was not a ClosetMaid metal shelf, but they fit fine.
