Looks great out of the box but it isn't made right. It tips down and I had it perfectly level so it is a design flaw. It's a sham because I wanted to like it. I ended up returning it.

Only two screws on the end. Once I started placing items on the shelf it leaned forward. I ended up adding a third screw myself in the middle. That solved the problem, but it should have been designed better.

I am very happy with the style and quality of this shelf. There is one issue, hence the 4 stars instead of 5. With the mounting screws screwed as far into the wall as you can go and still grip the brackets on the shelf, the top cross bar still sags out a bit. It will not pull flush with the wall. I had to add my own third bracket under this upper part of the shelf so that it would sit flush against the wall and not look like everything is about to slide off onto the floor.

Now, I really like this shelf, so don't get me wrong. If you are slightly handy you can remedy this easily. I just want people to know that the shelf will not sit quite right without some additional work.

The product looks lovely, but the dimensions listed seem to be WAY off....I have seen this product on other web sites, and they are listed as 23 1/4" wide, 6" high and 9 1/2" deep.....Can you correct this?

GSC Base Utility Cabinet

This is a nice storage cabinet. Not sure how the dimensions were listed in the product description, but it is a little larger than I expected it to be. It'll work well in our garage for extra stuff. I wouldn't recommend moving it around much once it's in place. The feet don't seem to like to stay on, but once it's in place it's very useful.

Very dissatisfied. Pieces loose in box more broken than not. I understand you get what you pay for but I expected something better than this. Will not be ordering from this maker again.

The manufacture has no regard for the consumer with this product. It is not finished with the color on all of its sides. i could understand the bottom being left bare. However, the top and the bottom are bare "particle board". So if you want a nice appearance on the top or bottom it is not going to happen. Also it is taller than the listed dimensions it is listed as 19.3" It is actually over 19.5" . No big deal unless like be you were working with a tight space. SHOES WILL NOT FIT. There is no way a pair of adult shoes are going to fit in these cubbies. Maybe one shoe to a hole or a pair of sandals at best. The back is made from shoe box cardboard.... I mean it, it is literally cheap shoe box cardboard. No nail is going to cold without tearing through this. At around $30 this is a RIP OFF. Another example of a Chinese manufacture who does not care.

The product had a corner of the outside frame slightly damaged, but I needed to get it put together. They might as well not include instructions in this product if they can somehow make them clear.

The shelf arrived quickly and well packaged. It is easy to put together and hang, and fit the space between my door moulding and window moulding to the millimeter, and therefore allows easy placement of a surround speaker and allowed the wires to be concealed by the mouldings that touch the shelf on either side (of course that is specific to my application). There is no support for the horizontal shelves other than 3 screws up/down into the vertical back plate. As such, exceeding the stated weight could break the shelf, but everything has a limit. I just need to keep my big cats from jumping on it.

We thought this was a very unique shelf and made the mistake of buying four of them. They create an optical illusion on the wall, so no matter what you do, they look crooked. Nice idea, well made, but not what we had hoped.

These shelves have a nice design but the curve does not make them very functional not much space to put anything, but great for small mementoes.

Seville Classics SHE15247 4-Tier Corner Shelving System with Wheels, Chrome

As with most of the Seville Classics shelving, of this style, this unit is very strong and sturdy.

The one irritating quality issue (in this and the other shelving units of the same brand) is that the little clip on sleeves, that hold the shelving in place, tend to slip down, while the shelf is being settled on them. Once the shelf is in place, they do hold well.

I have started to put duct tape around the bottom edge of these clips, while assembling, and then removing it once the shelf has settled into place.

I do not have this issue with a competing (much more expensive) brand.

When considering the trade off between price and quality, I still prefer to buy this brand, for most of my shelving needs.

I have a rather small kitchen in an old house with little storage space. This big boy holds all of my kitchen gadgets and stock pots in an attractive way. I just bought another one for my rental apartment that has the same issue of no space. It is very sturdy. I don't know I have 500lbs on it, but it certainly seems capable of holding a ton of appliances. If I were Oprah--I'd put this on my give away show.

Wow what can I say... this unit is BIG and HEAVY. I bought it for home kitchen use but its too much of a monster for that. I'd say this is more industrial or for a commercial kitchen or business, maybe a garage too. No doubt this is one solid rack. Easily put together. I always liked Seville chrome products. This does not disappoint but for my needs a little TOO big. Great product though, so five stars it is.

I moved into a small apartment and needed something to hold all my pots and pans, plus, office supplies. This rack professional kitchen grade. It holds a ton of stuff. The only downside is it's a two-person assembly project. Assembly instructions are simple but the parts are heavy and the first shelf assembly step is awkward. I did it by myself but not without knocking myself in the head a few times with the poles! Other than that I love it.

This is a well made, sturdy shelving system. It does require some assembly, but is not difficult to put together. We use it in the garage and it can take the weight of very heavy boxes. The shelf height can be altered for placement of larger items. Very pleased with purchase. Great organizational product!

While I love this rack I must admit that at $1,000. I think a fair price for this BDI unit would be about around $700.

The unit ships assembled which seems odd; there's really no reason to do this and I'm sure this only adds to shipping and production cost.

The Door and Top are glass. I love how the door has a slow close feature.

The unit is a bit bigger than I thought and I wish they made a unit that was one shelf smaller. I removed the wheels to lower the unit since I won't ever move it more than a few inches.

Overall I like the design and quality but I wish it was less expensive.

Overall well-designed and constructed. Generally as described except for a few issues: 1. The 'open back' or 'removable back' is not all that open. There is a structural frame on the back which will block access to the bottom shelf (where one would logically keep their heavy and highly-connect eqpt.), so access is very obstructed. The removable piece fits within this frame. 2. The casters do not pivot/swivel; they only move forward and back. 3. My unit came with a few cracks on the back but these seem more cosmetic than structural; Amazon rectified the problem. 4. Can't seem to get the door straight. Shouldn't have these issues with $1000 cabinet.

Pros: Its a solid product. I brought it to store equipment for a home theater setup. It looks great! It looks like it was made to match the piano black B & W speakers and other equipment I purchased for this home theater installation.

Cons: The delivery company. I order this under Amazon Prime, two-day delivery. This product was delivered about two or more days late, so it missed my installers. I had to keep calling the company to inquire about the delivery. They kept telling me it was out for delivery and it never arrived. I finally called Amazon and that same night, someone in a pickup truck pulled in my driveway at 7:30 PM. The driver asked me for help to get the item in my front door. After being late, outside his delivery window, and requiring help getting the product inside my front door, I expected more assistance with this hugh box; however, he stated delivery inside the front door was all he was required to do. If I had another source for this product, I would have refused this delivery and took it up with Amazon later. I reviewed the paperwork and discovered this was a two person job but only one small guy in a red pickup truck showed up. I guess I was expecting something more during the holiday season and to make up for the very poor customer service.

Winsome Whitman Square Accent Table

I purchased this item twice and both times, the corners were damaged due to small packaging and flimsy protection foam. This is a very nice table once together if. Would purchase if i had a guarantee that it will not be damaged.

I ordered this item and it is a beautiful table but the packing is so poor that I've return this table twice due to damaged corners. Even the delivery guy agreed that the packing materials were not sufficient to keep this table from getting damaged. The company who manufactures this table needs to rethink the packing materials and the strength of the box. Save yourself the hassel and disappointment...find another table to buy.

The table was pretty and I was really excited to set it up. However, the corners on both the end table and the coffee table were crushed in. :( Thank goodness for the online returns center so I can just get a replacement. However, I am really dissappointed that the tables came damaged. If you are in a hurry and want to get this in one order, beware!!

I decided to clean out the garage after being inspired by a friend who was doing the same. He ended up purchasing the Coleman series which is soo much nicer! The doors have actual hinges on them and they look better. I got the father's day special so for the money I can't complain. Except for the shipping. When I saw the box, I thought for sure these were smashed but they were just a little dented. Get ready to tap lightly with a soft hammer. The box says no tools, but don't believe it.Target had a lower price but I didn't want to pick them up. Target also carries the coleman. I'm saving you time and legwork. Spend 30% more and go with the coleman brand unless you have the money to go with Garage Tek look alikes. If I could do this again, I'd spend the 30% more.

Updated May 30, 2006 after owning for 2 years.

These are in my garage holding paint cans, auto cleaning supplies etc. I would not purchase these again and am looking for replacements. The sleves are now warped in the middle and smaller items fall or roll into the dip. If you are just storing rafts or lawn cushions you should be allright. If you have paint cans or heavier items, opt for metal shelving.

When I bought this cabinet I planned to use it outdoor to store my gardening tools and other stuffs like fertilizer and pesticide. Upon its arrival I discovered the unit wasn't exactly meant for outdoor use right out of the box.

The problem is that the cabinet top is not watertight. After one night of rain there was quite a bit of water inside the cabinet. After some trials and errors I ended up solving the problem by gluing (using silicon) a piece of corrugated vinyl roofing panel on top of the cabinet. This seems to work fines. The roofing panel costs about $7 each at Home Depot. You can cut the panel with a pair of scissors to the right size. Be sure to cut it a little bigger, about an inch or two on each side to give extra protection from heavy rains.

The other reviewer mentioned that the doors are not lined up. This can be fixed by putting shims under the four bottom corners of cabinet. You need to experiment with this. By putting shims under differ "legs" you'll notice the alignments of the doors change.

Another thing about this cabinet is the shelves inside have slots, meaning that if there is a spill on the top shelf the fluid will get the shelves below very quickly.

This cabinet does have some pros, however: reasonably priced, shelving included, good storage capacity, and able to hold heavy stuffs. Assembly was straight forward, although somewhat tedious.

This cabinet is OK if you are using it in your garage and have a perfectly flat floor. If I were to do it again I probably would spend another $60-$80 more and get a different unit.

I have owned three of these units for several years.

Two of them are in my unheated detached garage and one is in my basement.

I have used one for garden/lawn storage such a fertilizer, bug sprays, yard waste bags, plastic bags,

pails, tarps, extension cords, lawn sprinklers, coolers and assorted sports equipment for the grandkids.

The second one has been used for automotive related items such as our waterproof cartop carrier,

antifreeze, oil, windshield washer fluid, winter gloves, ice scrapers, snow brushes, well, you get my drift.

The third one is in the basement storing my Marine Corps gear and I have been very satisfied with it.

I have had absolutely no problem with using them in the garage or the basement.

They are in the same shape as when I received them.

Do keep in mind that these are not air-tight cabinets. If you need that type of storage unit look elsewhere.

Along with using the HyLoft 45-by-45-Inch Overhead Storage System #00540 my garage is MUCH MORE organized and I am MUCH LESS frustrated trying to find exactly what I need! I would recommend buying the cabinet for the uses as stated above. ~ The Boss

We ordered 2 of these for our basement. The second one went together much easier as we knew what we were doing. However, it took longer than the 15 minutes the directions said and also had to use a rubber mallet. The cabinets are perfect for basement storage. Would not want to use them outside, however, they are great for basement or garage storage. I plan on ordering another one. Holds lots of stuff behind closed doors!

Like another reviewer, my Rubbermaid #7083 cabinet arrived in a somewhat disheveled box (torn open in one spot), but the contents were OK. Assembly was easy--like several other reviewers, I too found that using a heavy rubber mallet was more essential than optional to fit the pieces together. Be prepared to clean out lots of disk-shaped pieces of plastic from the hollow of the panels (normal by-products of the manufacturing process), unless you're content to let those waste pieces rattle inside the panels. Of course, once you have the cabinet assembled and filled with whatever you fill it with, it's not going to be moving--so you won't hear any rattles (except possibly in the door panels). If you can live with junk pieces inside the panels, that will save you several minutes during the assembly process.

All in all, I'm happy with my purchase; I'm using the cabinet in my garage.

When you have to cut the shelf, it leaves the small wire ends exposed. I expected the small caps to cover these. Guess what -the don't! Too big! AND the large would cap a 1/4 inch bolt!! So, I will use them for other applications. Not what I expected!

I love this dish drainer. It is mall and compact taking little room on the counter, holds dishes, glasses, pots & pans or whatever else I wash and allow to drip-dry. Once everything is dry I am able to store in the cupboard until I need it again. It works far better than any other I have purchased over the years and I would highly recommend.

KV Steel Shelf Standard 48" Brown

I still can't figure out why KV sells the standards in brown paint and they call the clips that match the standards walnut which are anodized aluminum. I am pleased with the products but I expected to get the standards anidized and they came painted. Get it together KV!

This shelf arrived today and I was pretty disappointed... from the photo on the page it looks not only like there were two shelves included, but the area of the shelf looks much more substantial. This could maybe hold a thin picture frame or something but nothing any wider than an inch and a half basically. Not a great purchase.

When buying the shelves or rather shelf I thought there would be two becasue the photo shows two, but there was only one. Also the shelf was so thin. You could maybe put a very thin picture frame or something but really nothing else. Don't buy. It might look like a steal getting 2 for that price but when you see the quality of the product it's way overpriced and a HUGE waste of money!!!
