Looks good and I like it, but it is much more flimsy than I expected.

Warning: will not hold anything with any weight, like a bottle of dish soap, except at the ends.

Product is fine and serves it purpose. I just can't use it at my kitchen sink as I had hoped as my faucet is too tall. I should have considered that.

If this shelf is used as a plant shelf---as mine is----the center of the shelf needs to be more supported. I was afraid to use any but the lightest plants because the shelf would sag.

Otherwise, very attractive, serves the purpose I bought it for. I like that it expands, because it's the only plant shelf I could find which fits the windowsill I'm using it in.

I had purchased this item and once I measured the area I wanted to place it, I had realized it was too big. I reached out to the company and they swapped it out for me and refunded the difference no problems or questions asked. It was great! The shelves are sharp & look amazing on the wall it's a clean, crisp look. They don't seem to attract too much dust. I've used 2 shelves in lieu of a toliet ettigere. I am soo pleased with it!

I bought 2 of these shelves and I have to say they were probably the easiest to hang out of any other floating shelf I've put up. Definitely make sure to have a level handy. The anchors were easy to put in and didn't bend or smush like traditional plastic screw anchors. The finish is easily dinged and I don't believe they are real wood but they look great and I'd get them again.

I had a space that was 27" max width and I needed a mid-size microwave to fit in it. This rack was perfect and looks great next to a black stove.

Directions are a bit sketchy (just a picture) and the wine rack was a little tricky so don't tighten the screws until done!

I ordered this for a small space in my kitchen to hold wine, root vegetables, fruit basket, flour/sugar/etc. and it provides attractive and functional storage for these items. I'm not the most coordinated person, and probably shouldn't be trusted to use tools without supervision, but I was able to muscle this together by myself within an hour. As other reviewers have noted, the pieces do not all fit together easily so be sure to wait until the end to tighten the screws. You need to have patience, perhaps redo some pieces, to make everything fit together. Actually, I couldn't even add one of the screws for the top shelf because the pieces didn't match properly but it doesn't seem to affect its sturdiness at all. And also, the faux wood shelf is ugly and I will need to paint it to make it look better.

Just put together our bakers rack for our sunroom, and its absolutely perfect fit..i was concerned about the instructions since I read the other reviews and as per my bf who actually put it together said it was rather easy, there was just one screw missing but we managed, somehow..

Overall, the rack is great. It holds my things adequately and is sturdy.

Assembly:

The directions need some work, as it's a single sheet, and the hardware it comes with isn't labeled. They just throw the mishmash of screws in a bag. The pieces don't fit EXACTLY together, and I kept having to loosen previously assembled parts so that the next piece would fit. I didn't tighten it very hard either, just until it stopped well enough to be sturdy. The other thing is that it comes with wood screws to screw in the main surface area, but the cutting board itself has no holes. I had to use a drill bit and manually put them in, and it doesn't come with even a screwdriver to put them in, so be prepared that you will have to do some drilling of some kind.

Packaging was fine, except that the styrofoam used to protect it was VERY crappy, and left a mess all over my kitchen. I found pieces in my sink which is a good 10-feet away from where I was assembling it, and even in the next room around the corner.

Be warned, the main "wood" cutting board SHOULD NOT be used to cut on. It's a piece of ply wood with laminate over it, and cutting on it will result in cutting through the laminate. Have a cutting board ready if you plan on doing any sort of food preparation on it.

Overall, it's a great piece, but the initial experience of putting it together is pretty annoying / frustrating.

I ordered this Ladder Shelf storage unit from Amazon at an amazing price on sale. It is a nice accent against a wall and provides something different to look at other than a normal wood shelf storage unit mass produced from MBF in China. This shelf is actually wood which provides a nice finish. While I love the shelf's design (ladder shape) I am not totally sold on how sturdy it is. It is easily assembled, but does have slight sway when fully assembled. Storage space on the shelf is limited by the size of shelves (they get smaller as you near the top of unit.) The bottom shelves are fairly strong, the top are not due to sway, etc. I still give this 5 stars as it is quite a nice looking unit, and I understand the nature of the chinese manufacturing process and place pieces such as this where they will not be moved, bumped, climbed on, etc.

Obviously it is incredibly inexpensive, but it is NOT worth it. My piece came with chips in it and missing pieces. Put together it was completey unsturdy. Even with the price... do NOT buy/

For the price, its not bad. But once we got it and assembled it, it wasn't what I was hoping. Kinda flimsy and feels cheap. I mean it is cheap and that's why I got it, but still. In the end, if I had more money I would probably get something else, but I'm happy with it now.

It was fairly easy to assemble once I figured out the instructions didn't tell you that the holes are tapered and the screws have to be put in only one way. Once I took it back apart, and reassembled it the right way, I decided I really liked it!

Rubbermaid 5E08 FastTrack 24-Inch Mesh Basket

I bought this item because it was a "Mesh" basket. What shipped to my home was a large "Wire" basket that did not match the picture or description for this item at all. Not cool.

I am a huge fan of the Fasttrack system and the mesh baskets shown in th picture, and ordered 3 more of these baskets for an new project. They instead shipped this:

This baskedt is vastly inferior for several reasons. 1) the baskets are wire, not mesh, and therefor you cannot put small items in them 2) the hooks are not permanently attached to the basket and constantly fall off and 3) the hooks are not rigid on the baskets so that you cannot use the baskets if you mounted the rails on an exposed beam as opposed to a flat wall, as I did.

Seriously not amused.

I know other reviewers were disappointed when they received this but it's not the picture that's wrong its the description. Looking at it you can see it's CLEARLY not mesh. It's got bars in it but you can still put fairly small items in it and for me it's hose accessories and gloves. It's super strong and hold a lot of stuff that otherwise used to end up in 5 gallon buckets for me!

Unlike some of the other reviews I got exactly what was in the picture. I use the basket to hold power tools so the size of the mesh wasn't a concern for me. Overall its a good product. Easy to take on and off the FastTrack system and seems to hold up well. Thinking about buying more just to keep tools and things off the ground.

Chrome-Plated Steel Closet Shelf Dividers, set of 4

Giving these shelf dividers three stars mostly because they were cheap. I ordered two sets, so that's 8 dividers in total. Two of them are fine -fit the shelf well and do their job fine. The others are either "loose" in the clamp that goes around the shelf, or worse, don't stand up straight because of the shoddy manufacturing.

My shelves are kind of thin, so I found a workaround by putting wood shims underneath. Not a perfect solution, but works okay. And you might not have this problem if you have thicker shelves.

The problem with the dividers leaning at a noticeable tilt (say, at 80 degrees instead of 90 degrees), though, is pretty annoying.

I bought these to organize my closet and they work well fit shelves 12" deep or so but they all lean slightly and are not perpendicular to the shelf at all.

on the flimsy side but it works. i have it installed on shelves that are about 1/2" thick and 24" wide. they don't grip the shelf tightly so they tend to not keep its position when you bump into them. otherwise, they work as marketed...

Umbra Zen Towel Hook

The main problem I see with this hook is that two pieces (since it's the type of hook that hides the screws) are connected at the BOTTOM. Therefore, the outside piece (the part you can see) of the hook is not even touching the wall at the top because it's falling off the wall. I have screwed everything in as tight as I could and this is still an issue. Part of the problem may be that the towel I hang on the wall is heavy but I still feel like this hook is poorly designed. I now hang something lighter on it but the damage is already done and the hook is permanently looking like it's going to fall of the wall. Now I have two giant holes in the wall and I need to either get a new hook that completely covers up the damage or just forget it altogether and hang a picture or something up in it's place.

This hook was exactly what I needed in my bathroom, but discovered the anchor hardware it came with was not sturdy enough to keep it flush to the wall. It made a great difference once I went to the hardware store and bought a box of my own anchors for $2. I reset the hook with the new anchors and all was good!

Purchased this for our newly renovated bathroom, for the towel by the sink. I wish I'd gotten the ring towel holder for a few more dollars because this one is so small, it is completely covered by the towel. It looks nice and works fine, but I wish I could see it more often!

We ordered several of the "Zen" bath accessories for our new master bath. We were looking for something that was a little different than the usual stuff that you find at Hope Depot. In researching my purchase of an inexpensive TV console, the most common complaints I read of were of items damaged in transit and of materials that were incorrectly made in the factory (pre-drilled holes not lining up correctly, missing screws, etc).

I am happy to say that my Techcraft CRE48B console had neither of these problems. It was delivered in a box that was sturdy, with exterior corner protection, and everything inside it was very well packed and protected by Styrofoam and sheets of plastic.

The exterior pieces are quite heavy and have a beautiful glossy smooth black finish which is flawless. The interior pieces are made of a lighter but sturdy particle board painted a mat black. The glass is tempered and clear and was fit perfectly in the doors. The back cover is very sturdy compressed cardboard with large openings for all the cords to fit though, and attaches with screws, not nails. I should note there is a fifth leg which projects from the middle near the back of the unit which is not visible in the product image.

It took me about 2 hours to put it together by myself, working very carefully. There were no missing pieces (and no extra pieces). The instructions are mostly images only, but all the larger pieces are labeled with stickers and the smaller pieces are represented with 1:1 scale drawings. I had no difficulty understanding the directions. Assembly requires a Phillips screwdriver (smaller and larger heads). Everything fit together just right and when complete it feels very solid.

Overall I am very pleased with this item, I consider it to be a very good value. The only issue I have with it is that even after adjustment, one door is just a tiny bit off level, but that's a flaw I'm willing to accept in an item in this price range.

They do a great job mixing quality wood that's visible and low quality wood (to keep costs down) in all parts that aren't visible.

This stands looks really nice but it isn't very practical. The mesh center cabinet meant for your center speaker is far too small to fit the majority of center channel speakers. The side cabinets aren't wide enough to fit the larger receivers.

This is still a quality sturdy stand but make sure if you need it to hold your components that it will fit them properly.

I bought the Techcraft Cre48B AV stand to sit under my new wall-mounted Samsung LN52A650 LCD TV to hold my home theater equipment and I will say it looks absolutely great doing that. I did have the TV on the stand for a few days as I waited for my TV mounting bracket to arrive from Amazon and it seemed to hold the additional weight without any problem. Delivery was quick for such a big item, five days from ordering to delivery. I held my breath taking all of the pieces out of the box since I have heard nightmare stories about shipping casualties with furniture items. Once I removed the glass door panels and they were intact, I breathed a sigh of relief and started the task of assembling the stand. It is a little intimidating at first, like any furniture of this nature. But once you get a feel for it, it moves right along. The directions call for a Phillips head screwdriver and hammer, but I didn't find a need for the hammer at all. The stand uses a series of cam locks and posts to tighten the panels together. This is where I have to deduct a star from an otherwise good product. The posts screw into predrilled pilot holes. No problem until I reach one particular pilot hole which is drilled far to large to allow the post to be screwed in. You can't just move the post and screw it in elsewhere, because the corresponding cam requires it to be lined up perfectly. This particular cam/post was vitally important since it held the side panel in place. So essentially I was in a bind due to poor craftmanship. If it had been a store purchase, I would have returned it for a replacement. but being mail order and being a very heavy item to boot, I decided to improvise and glued the post in with epoxy and waited until the next day to complete the stand. The epoxy worked well and assembly went smoothly after that. Overall, not counting the misdrilled hole fiasco, it took me about an hour and fifteen minutes to complete. My one other complaint is that they could have included one or two extra cams since they are easy to strip, so be careful with them. Overall, I would buy the product again, but Techcraft may want to assess their quality control when issues like mine are happening.

Just received this stand and put it together this week. I've been on the lookout for a great stand at a great price for a few months now and finally settled on this one after exhaustive researching. The price dropped to $265 + Free shipping and I just couldn't pass that up!

First things first, this baby weights A LOT! I still can't believe they shipped it for free. I was a little intimidated after opening the box and seeing all the parts. But after taking a deep breath, laying everything out nicely and browsing the instructions briefly it wasn't bad at all and everything made sense. I almost had a heart attack when I thought one of the support feet were missing but a quick check back into the box with tons of wrapping and foam to keep the parts safe and I found it. I didn't time myself but I'm thinking maybe a good 60 to 90 minutes putting this one together is about right. I love the color and finish on this. While it is black it almost has a dark brown feel about the color which is perfect for my setup. While some have made mention of the center area which isn't big enough for a normal/standard center channel it wasn't a problem for me. Even though mine would easily fit as I have the Sony HTIS-100 I chose to set it on top anyways. The two storage areas on either side aren't huge but they have adjustable shelves and are the right size for standard components and with the windows you shouldn't have any problems with the remotes. I'm at a point now where I don't feel the need to display all my components and would rather focus on the TV itself and this stand is perfect for that. It also sits at just the right height to accentuate viewing of my 52" Sony XBR9 whereas my last stand sat rather low. This one is perfect.

Overall I'm very impressed with this item. Great quality construction, fairly easy to put together, great price and incredibly good looks you really can't go wrong. I also liked that with the doors you have the capability to mount them on either side for opening depending on your setup. A real nice touch for flexibility. Overall I'm VERY happy with this product and would highly recommend it to anyone with a 42 to 55" TV. Thanks!
