I love this bookcase/ 4 tier rack. It works wonderfully as a plant stand. Very sturdy. Easy to put together--husband put it together in less than an hour.

I would have rated this item with 5 stars, except one of the rods for a shelf it was broken. Luckily for me, my brother was able to make a new one to fix it. I love this rack. The glass shelves are sturdy and nice looking. We use it for appliances, plants, cook books, etc. Just a great addition when you don't have much counter space. Dimensions are; 31.5 inches wide, 12.5 in. deep, height with design (on the back of the rack) 67' and 55" high when measured to the top shelf. I was looking for a baker's rack and saw this item. Priced right. Well constructed. Sturdy. Attractive. Very Funtional.

I purchased the sunburst canopy bed (which is still wonderful months later particularly when you end up with an extra mattress that you put on top of the first one, letting you sleep really high up off the floor under a canopy looks very impressive!! :-D ) and afterwards bought the bookcase to go with it. The glass shelving was very heavily wrapped, but still somehow with pounds of bubblewrap around them 2 broke in transit. May have had something to do with the very small UPS delivery person trying to shove the packages up 3 flights of stairs. I contacted the seller late that night after work, and they had replacements there the next day! They were WONDERFUL! There is 'some assembly required,' obviously, but I was still able to put it together by myself with little difficulty. All tools required are included in the packaging (I now have more allen wrenches than I know what to do with) along with extra screws. I am currently trying to figure out how to fit the whole set in my bedroom while still allowing me access to my bed. Love these guys!

Everything about this case is fine. It arrived in a well packed container; even the glass shelves were unbroken. Being a sceptic, I thought for sure they would be broken. It was easy to put together and all the screws and small pieces that usually get lost during transit or packing were present. The ONLY complaint I have is with the very last piece I had to install. The decorative finial on the top does not screw in tight enough. I can configure some way to fix it. Otherwise, i would have given it a five star rating.

This is one great looking shelf however it is only functional if you want to put decorative objects on it. The shelves are VERY small, even for books. I use it next to my TV that is flat mounted on above the fireplace. However the shelves are all very small and only the bottom two will hold a TV receiver with careful fitting. My PS3 barely fits too. There is no way to put my surround sound received on it though. If the shelves were about 6" bigger on the bottom three shelves, it would be very versatile.

ive owned this tv stand for several months now and it is very nice. it is strong metal and the glass is thick durable tempered glass...the tv mounts easy..mine is a 42 inch seiki lcd and the cords are hidden behind the panel....the tv feels very secure on there and turns with ease ill try to get some pictures up soon but i would reccomend this to anyone looking for a stand with mount..i chose this over a wall mount...this does the same and is much easier

Atlantic 38435623 Oskar Media Tower 756 CD (Maple)

I purchased two of these Oskar media storage units last year and was very satisfied. I needed a third one for recent expansion, but Atlantic/Oskar has redesigned this unit without explanation and without improvement. The overall frame is the same: height, width and depth. While the total number of adjustable shelves are the same (30), the size and weight of the shelves have changed. In the units I bought last year, the shelves were were 1/2" thick and were 5.5 inches deep, the full depth of the shelving unit. The new shelves are only 3/8" thick and 4.5 inches deep. The old shelves weighed 14 oz, and new shelves weigh 8.5 oz, so the total package weight dropped by 10 pounds, which may have been the motivation for the redesign. The mounting holes have also shifted, so the shelves from the new and old units are not interchangeable.

What is the big deal you may ask? With a 5.5 in depth, DVDs sit completely on the shelf. With only 4.5 inches, the DVDs overhang by about half and inch. With a thinner profile (3/8"), the shelves are more likely to sag over time. The 1/2" shelves have shown no sign of sagging in the past year.

We did not see this design flaw until we put the media unit together. We plan on returning it to Amazon.

I ordered this unit, thinking it was the Atlantic Oskar 1080 (product number 38435418). It's NOT. The shelves are cheaper, thinner, and poorly finished. Overall, a far inferior product, clearly a cheap replacement for the earlier "Oskar 1080." Only thing is, they are clearly trying to pass the new, chintzier one off as the same shelf. A bit sleazy.

It really pisses me off when a company like Atlantic substitutes an inferior product for an existing one, without making it clearer --for instance, by changing the product name or picture. The box, when it arrived, said something like "formerly called Oskar," but it's a bit late to find that out, when it's already at your house!

Don't buy this one -if you're going to get a "1080-CD" rack, find the "other" Oskar, with the product number 38435418. I think Best Buy still has them.

I don't understand a lot of the negative reviews on this product. I just got mine yesterday and it worked out perfect. It's sturdy (wall brackets work great) and was super easy to put together. Only took me about 45 minutes. For the price, I think it's a great deal. Looks great too. All the people complaining either don't know how to put things together or fly through the instructions too fast to catch the details. It's a sturdy peice of furniture for the price and does exactly what it's suppose to do. If you need a good media storage unit at a good price, don't hesitate on this one. Only reason I didn't give if 5 stars is because it doesn't do my laundry no matter how many times I yell at it :p

As someone who has many thousands of CD's and DVD's, and the racks to go with them, I feel that I can address this product with a good degree of experience and knowledge. In short, I feel that one can't beat this price for a product of this type. Granted, it's not a custom piece of wood furniture, but it is not meant to be. It's particle board covered with wood grain veneer. If recognized for that, it looks good, and is well-made for that type. Some reviewers have mentioned that the shelves are less deep than the older Oskars, and that their CD's stick out. This is true, but for me, it's a non-issue. In fact, I find that it's actually easier to grasp a case when they stick out a bit from the shelf. I have an older Atlantic Oskar, and the quality seems about the same, which is to say that the finish is good, and the pieces fit together properly. If one is patient, and takes the time to look at the illustrations and directions, then assembly shouldn't be a problem. Some reviewers have mentioned two issues which I do find worth addressing, though. One is that it is important to give extra care and attention to the alignment of the back wall piece. The appearance of the right angles can be deceptive, so make sure that there is solid wood under it before nailing. Also, do make sure to support the two halves of the unit when flipping it over to nail on the wall backing. Some books or towels will support the weight. Additionally, if you're looking for an exact match with the older model, then yes, they probably won't match up to a perfect degree, due to shelf heights. The item arrived in a single 70 lb. box, so be aware of the weight. As one other reviewer mentioned, since there are countless little balls of broken styrofoam, be sure to unpack it where clean-up won't be a problem. Finally, I would highly recommend this product if you need some large-capacity storage at a great price.

Despite reading reviews, I still bought this. I wish I didn't. I bought one of these a few years back at Best Buy. Best Buy no longer carries it. I needed another one due to my growing media collection. This product is made much more poorly than the previous model. The top half leans and nearly fell apart till I attached the cheap backing to it. I don't believe the backing should support it, but it does. The shelves are the MAJOR downgrade. The shelves are thinner and only 4.5" deep. The shelves look stupid because they are no longer flush with the rest of the shelf. Also nearly everything I place on the shelf now overhangs the shelves. The is a poorly made shelf and I DO NOT recommend it. Just read the reviews.

SEI Metal Spine-Style Book Tower

I'd been lusting after this book tower for nearly a year when I walked into a friend's apartment and was greeted by what seemed like a MAGICAL STACK OF BOOKS. When you fill the bookcase completely, all shelves but the base seem to disappear. The look of it is quite simply a bibliophile's dream. I wanted it, but I couldn't justify spending around $200 for the one like hers from CB2. I tried over and over to find a similar bookshelf, but the closest one I found was an even more expensive model at The Container Store.

Finally, I stumbled upon this model by SEI, which is significantly more affordable and just as sturdy and chic. Very simple to put together and, I imagine, take apart. HUGE space saver (especially for book addicts). Color me DELIGHTED.

After wishing I could afford the Sapien tower book shelves that are oh so similar to these available at Design Within Reach, I read the review on these. Could they compare with the original at this remarkable price? I decided to buy a pair. They arrived and I wondered if I could put them together on my own. I am what could most kindly be described as mechanically challenged. I decided to not wait for help and jumped in. The instructions were clear and assembly was so easy. Even I could do it. The materials seem solid. The holes lined up without a problem. It was a snap. I was the proud owner of a high end looking spine bookshelf. I did it in about 15 minutes. I looked forward to doing the second one and moving all of my books out of boxes and cartons on to the shelves. The second one had just one problem. There was a small bend in the spine that meant that one of the shelves couldn't be inserted in the slot. I'm sure there is a tool that could be used to open the slot just enough to make it fit but I don't own it. Trying to pry it with a screw driver was not successful and I wasn't willing to use a lot of pressure for fear of damaging the finish. I would easily have given this five stars but just can't do it. The price is great. The materials seem sturdy. The instructions are clear. Just that one little problem with one shelf on one of the units keeps it from being perfect.

I purchased two of the Mesh pullout drawers and they were the only pull out drawers I could find that fit under the bathroom vanity because of all the plumbing.

You can either screw them in place or just let them sit on their ruber feet.

They hold tall and small items and slide in and out with no effort at all.

I plan on buying two more very soon.

The product fails to have simple rails or controls to prevent tipping. any load on either the upper or lower shelves causes the contents to spill on the floor when pulled out.

I purchased this slide out cabinet basket to hold the K-cups that go to my Keurig coffee machine. This basket holds MANY more K-cups than those carousels, which look nice, but TO ME would be inconvenient...take out, replace, take out replace, etc. (Carousel doesn't look that nice with empty spots.) I've seen other baskets sold specifically for K-cups, and while they are more aesthetically pleasing, they don't hold as many as this basket can, plus the bottom part of the top basket can be in your way with that other basket, since you have to reach your hand in, hitting the top of your hand on the bottom of the top basket. THIS basket bottom slides out making the bottom basket more easily accessible. Let me also repeat that this basket holds MORE K-cups, so it doesn't have to be filled as often.

If you don't like the color, I'd guess it can be easily painted.

This product is sturdy, even without fastening it to anything.

I gave this item only 4 stars as a little corner of the mesh was sticking out...its no biggie really though, as I was able to maneuver it into place with decent pressure. I'd still consider this a sturdy product.

I ordered 4 of these to try and organize the space under the bathroom sinks. I am very pleased. Now it's so easy to actually get to the bandaids, essential oil, mouthwash, hairdryer or whatever else you put in there. I also noticed that at first if I pulled the baskets out, they were front heavy and would tip forward. I found that by securing one of the bread ties that came with the original packaging around the bottom rail and basket about 3 inches forward stops the basket from tipping. I didnt even secure the units down with the screws that came with it.

I bought them at another store and the ones I have came with screws so you can screw down the bottom frame so the frame can't move. However, I haven't needed to do that.

I use one under my kitchen sink for cleaning products (in addition to a wire basket on the inside of one of the cabinet doors).

I use two in my pantry as it is much deeper than wide, and I was tired of trying to see what I had in the back of it.

I highly recommend these.

These are great, but the measurements are not accurate! I bought them because I had a cupboard only 10-1/4 inch across, but these were closer to 10-1/2 inch in diameter and had to be sanded down in order to fit. Otherwise, I really like them.

Good quality, a teeny bit overpriced, but then I am still living ing the past. Fits right into our eclectic kitchen.

No complaints on this. We put it on a kitchen island and it helps maximize space. The rollers for rotating are not very smooth, but we don't use that so I can't say if it really matters or not. But it looks good and after about 6 months seems very durable.

A couple of issues with this. Bought two and I'm glad because they appear to have poor quality control on matching shades of wood. In one the top was real light and the bottom dark. The reverse on the other one. Not a huge problem, just flipped them. It would have been a problem if only one. The legs also did not match. Flipped them again and got better results. The legs don't seem to have a "finish" on them. One of the tops has a whiteish stain on top but they are going in the cabinet so doesn't make much of a difference to me. The turntable is not very smooth rolling kind of sticks. Not going to be turning it all day so again, not a huge big deal. If you plan on displaying this on your counter top you might want a better quality product but I'm storing these in the cabinet so it doesn't make that much of a difference to me. The product seems just average.

Like another reviewer said this is wider than 10". And because the base was installed off-center it scrapes against the wall of my 11"-wide cabinet every time it goes around. The dowels that came with it have flimsy ends that break instead of firmly holding in the tray's holes. For the money I expected this to be higher quality but really it's pretty cheap quality. I bought two and I'm considering returning the unopened one.
