Ladder Shelf Storage Black 5-tier Ladder Shelf

I ordered this Ladder Shelf storage unit from Amazon at an amazing price on sale. It is a nice accent against a wall and provides something different to look at other than a normal wood shelf storage unit mass produced from MBF in China. This shelf is actually wood which provides a nice finish. While I love the shelf's design (ladder shape) I am not totally sold on how sturdy it is. It is easily assembled, but does have slight sway when fully assembled. Storage space on the shelf is limited by the size of shelves (they get smaller as you near the top of unit.) The bottom shelves are fairly strong, the top are not due to sway, etc. I still give this 5 stars as it is quite a nice looking unit, and I understand the nature of the chinese manufacturing process and place pieces such as this where they will not be moved, bumped, climbed on, etc.

Obviously it is incredibly inexpensive, but it is NOT worth it. My piece came with chips in it and missing pieces. Put together it was completey unsturdy. Even with the price... do NOT buy/

For the price, its not bad. But once we got it and assembled it, it wasn't what I was hoping. Kinda flimsy and feels cheap. I mean it is cheap and that's why I got it, but still. In the end, if I had more money I would probably get something else, but I'm happy with it now.

It fits perfectly where I wanted it. It's not the sturdiest book shelf ever, but for the price and for holding books it's perfect!

It was fairly easy to assemble once I figured out the instructions didn't tell you that the holes are tapered and the screws have to be put in only one way. Once I took it back apart, and reassembled it the right way, I decided I really liked it!

These z-beam shelves are simply awesome. They're easy to setup and take down without tools, and are rugged enough to stand up to your serious storage needs. I have several in my basement and workshop, and they look good and have a nice paint (powercoat?) thickness that seems to stand up to unconditioned spaces very well. You used to be able to get these at the Depot but they seem to be carrying a lower strength sku these days. I wish there were an easy way to order extra cross beams to add a shelf, but still and all I highly recommend them.

This locker is made very well, real wood, sturdy. I bought it for my 8 year old, and it is WAY too small for him. Says it's recommended for children up to 17, I don't think it would be any use to a child over about 5.

I run an in home child care and thought this would suffice for my needs. This will only be a temporary fix for 2 (2-3 yrs old) toddlers but not a permanent cubbie. I will have to go to Kaplans and buy the real sized cubbies with 4 child spaces for $200. A 4T coat barely fits in this and the backpack had to be stored in the underneath compartment, not hanging next to the coat. Each child has a width of 8.5in of space, 7in deep in the top storage and 12in deep in the coat and underneath storage area. Instead of putting both hooks inside each child's area on the right and left, I placed one on the outside wall and the other on the inside of the outside wall using the 2 connectors. This way the 2 older children I have can hang their coat and book bags on the outside. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND BUYING THIS ITEM AND I AM RETURNING IT.

The outer boards were warped and made this a bear to put together, other than that I believe this would be durable for quite some time.

My kids' coats and backpacks were getting out of control so I found something similar to what they have at their school. It's a little small. My 5 year old's coat drags on the bottom shelf and it's a little narrow for winter coats. I installed two extra hooks on the outside for backpacks. It does the job, but may be better suited for dress up clothes than for coats.

This "toddler" shelf is way too small. I have a 5 year old and a 2 year old and neither one of their coats will even hang inside because there is not enough space. I do not recommend this if you are looking for an area to store even your small child's gear.

Woodland Products AE36W Architectural Elements 36-Inch Shelf, White Finish

I ordered two of these sheves and they were a big disappointment. When they finally arrived from Stacks and Stacks, one was damaged. The worst part is I could not get any response or satisfaction from the seller to return these shelves and get a refund. Thankfully, Amazon is handling my claim because the seller will not contact me. Amazon has been wonderful to deal with.

I bought this because I didn't want brackets to show. The shelf itself is nice, but the "hidden" bracket that comes with this shelf is so cheaply made that the shelf does attach sit level on the wall. The welding is sloppy and the shelf tilts downward at about a 55 degree angle. To get the shelf level, I had to add support brackets under it.

Please don't waste your money on these shelves. They are so cheaply constructed, I was speechless when I opened the box. I bought these for one of my kids rooms but would have been embarassed to leave them up. The brackets don't allow the shelf to sit flush with the wall and the material is so flimsy that a paper towel would give it a run for it's money. Both of ours arrived damaged from the factory and it was a pain in the rear to get our money back. Took over a month of emails back and forth with the shipper before we were credited back what we paid. If the materials were higher quality and there was some way to mount these flush with the wall like they're supposed to be, I'd put them in every room of my house. As it was, I donated ours to Goodwill. Good luck to the poor soul who buys them.

This is a good shelf, and the mounting bracket has various holes so you can find a stud to attach to. Of course, like all floating shelves, it's not built for a lot of weight.

I ordered these shelves ready-to-paint and they turned up quickly and as expected. They look and feel well made and go great with our decor. They are not, however, easy to install. The way they attach to the wall is via 5 screws that need to be a) precisely spaced and b) level. This means you will have quite a bit of work to do getting them exactly in-line or the shelf will not attach to the wall. I'm also quite suspicious as to whether this will create a really firm connection. It would be nice if these attached via some sort of bracket anchored with two or three points (instead of five).

This was one of the more disappointing purchases I have made in a long time. The "Satin Nickel" finish is realy just grey paint. We could live with that, however, when we installed it in our bath/tub shower combination guest bathroom the pole bowed and was very wobbly. I tried several measuers to reduce the wobblyness and was getting ready to try gluing the poles together when I decided to check out the reviews (we bought this at Home Depot). The reviews of the other version of this are terrible. I then found a stainless steel model from simplehuman and ordered it after seeing the 13 5 star ratings and nothing less. The 5 year warranty is incredible. I prefer to spend the money now instead of every 2 years.

I find that I have to replace my corner shower shelves about every two years as they get rusty. This is the first chrome one I've purchased and I was eager to install it. It looks really nice and is quite easy to assemble, but I am perpetually annoyed when I set things on it. The shelves tilt downward ever so slightly, so half the time when I set a shampoo bottle on one of them it comes tumbling off. It looks like I am stuck with this for the next two years.

I'm not sure if the reviews here are about this same product!?? I found the instructions to be well written, assembly relatively simple, poles and shelves nicely chrome finished and far more sturdy than I ever expected. I admit it would probably be wobbly if it was freestanding. But in this case it's right in the back corner of the tub , which I am assuming is exactly where it was designed to be placed and we've got it loaded up with 18 bottles of product, several of which are nearly full, weighing in at a whopping 20-32ounces, each. Although the instructions recommend carefully cutting off of the shortest pole in one inch increments as per a chart . . . I lazily opted out and completely omitted one of the pole sections to fit the lower ceiling in this particular bathroom. I truly expect this thing to last for years to come! I am storing the extra piece in the linen closet with the assumption that in the event of a move, this caddy is coming with me. I do gladly recommend this product!

I bought this item from a seller on Amazon, they failed to ship so Amazon directly and quickly handled the situation with sending me one that shipped directly from Amazon. I had a white one that lasted a year and rusted and began to look horrible. This replacement caddy is nice for the money. I can see it lasting for a longer period of time. The finish is nice as are the shelves. I am extremely pleased with this item and Amazon for their quick efforts to please their customers.

I found this pole caddy easy to assemble, I didn't even need to read the instructions. The caddy fit between my tub ledge and ceiling using the two long poles.

The pole caddy did bow a little when I first tried to install it, but by pushing the caddy fully into the corner and making sure the spring-loaded top section was lined up correctly with the bottom of the pole, the bowing was corrected.

Some reviews mentioned that the shelves lean forward, the shelves on my caddy are level. I was able to fill the shelves with the multitude of hair-care products that my daughters use.

This pole caddy feels flimsy compared to the unit it replaced, but for $20 it was a better solution than trying to remove the rust from my old pole caddy.

Our daughter just started high school and got her first locker. It's big and wide and everything was laying on the bottom in a jumbled mess. She told me some of her classmates had locker shelves, some good and some bad. So I went looking on Amazon and found this unit.

Purchased this set of locker shelves. they are excellent. Snug, tight fit which is good. Previous wire shelves are cheaper but extremely unstable. This shelf set is solid and durable, worth the money as it will be used for several years.

Okay, so I've been debating a lockershelf for a long time, a year at least. And I have shared a locker with friends who had some, but I honestly had to go back several times a day just to reset all the books and folders and papers on the those shelves because they would continuously falls, get crooked, and slide. Everyday. I'm not kidding. They were the metal shelves with just two legs that folded in (and they loved to fold in I'll tell ya :/

But anyway. I've been planning to get this lockershelf for the past few months, and I finally have it in my locker. I measured my locker, by the way, to double check and make sure it was one of the sizes listed. And even though it said (or someone said) it would fit like a built in shelf I didn't totally believe them. But it's TRUE. Oh my gosh, It's amazing. It fits perfectly, and it makes the locker look so much wider too. I am so impressed.

Also, it does get assembled easily. And you should play around with it and see how many way's you can set it up that you like ^.^

I'm not going to say it will keep you completely organized (depends on the person). But it will make it easier for me :) So far I'm using the 'normal' shelving where it's equal space on the bottom and middle and a little less on top. On each shelf I have...

Top: Extra mechanical pencils, pens and highlighters (in the Target brand boxes of all three) and then a box of papermate mechanical pencils, then I laid out some gigantic Sharpie pens, I have mounting tape (for future use), and a five pack of square sticky notes. And I could put a few more things up there.

Middle: I put 4 1-inch binders and three 1 subject notebooks, and acordian binder (which doesn't fit up and down/the long way), my planner, and my pencil bag. There's still space for maye 3-4 1-inch binders and probably more becasue my planner and pencil bag won't stay in there ;)

Bottom: I put two pack of loose-leaf paper down there, along with 2 5-subject notebooks and 6 folders. So if you can picture this shelf the same size as the others, you know there's more space. Especially since some of that stuff will probably be kept in my bag or not be spending much time in there.

Considering all that weight this shelf is sturdy, it is strong. I love it. My school year starts tomorrow, but with this shelf I know it will be great!!!
