I originally purchased this for my sons room when he was a toddler to store videos in. He's 14 now and I have had it in my pantry/laundry room for extra storage of my cook books, mixing bowls, cereal bowls etc. It has been sturdy and a decent piece of furniture for these needs. I have recently changed some decor in that room and no longer wished this cabinet was white. I was worried I would have to resort to tacky contact paper as I have searched high and low for a narrow sturdy cabinet that was not to tall since I have a lamp on it as well (this would also be great to put in a small spaced entry way). I didn't want to have to spend hundreds of dollars and settle on something I really didn't want. I was shocked and amazed that Amazon carries this after so many years, and love the fact I can get it in Espresso without breaking my bank account. I love Amazon. They have never failed me.

I bought this for my kitchen which is small and has little storage space. It works out great and was easy to put together.

Good product for the price to keep all your towels/linens hiden in the bathroom instead of plain sight. Three shelves on the inside allow for stacking and/or shampoos and other bath goods. Albeit a little smaller than its 12 x 12 exterior it's a decent product for a good price

There was no where to hold or mount a shelf to hold my 19" lcd tv in the motorhome bedroom. Could have bought a metal hanger and installed it, losing portability. Instead built a 28 X 9 1/4" mahogany shelf and used these hinges. Would probably hold 30 lbs. while traveling down the road. More if not moving. They're a bit stiff to fold but use will loosen them up. Pleased with this choice and cheaped out.

If you have the typical white wire closet shelving systems then these are great to fill in the vertical gaps you may have. I bought 3. I hung one on the single shelf over my washer and drier and placed my dryer sheets, stain removers where they are easier to grab. The other 2 are hanging in my closet, one attached to the other to fill in the empty space below a shelf. My scarf are nice and organized now.

It's just what I was looking for! I hate using tv stands that covers the entire wall. This worked perfectly for me since I don't own DVDs nor plan to collect DVDs. I really don't see a need for DVDs anymore anyway, in my opinion. Anyway, this is perfect for our Samsung LED 60' tv.

NOTE: When you assemble this stand, it comes out to 3 pieces that you have to put next to each other, but it's pretty stable. You can screw each pieces together or keep them as 3. That way you have the option to re-decorate however you want it later on.

This tv stand is amazing overall. I am pleased with the way it looks. It's ideal for those with a long wall. Couple of negatives though: 1) The instructions sucked. It is nothing like Ikea type of instructions. I actually damaged a side of it due to the lack of clarity and took way too long to figure it all out. 2) The drawers that are side by side to one another (right side of the stand), do not sit straight. Therefore, it gives an illusion that the tv stand is crooked overall, as if the top of portion of it is weighing the drawers down. Aside from these flaws, it's a great tv stand.

Good Table, looks good...Quality is definitely below average. This is not my first Baxton Studio product, but this TV stand is by far the worst one I got. The table is very hard to assemble since the parts were not labeled properly. The quality of the wood is really poor. However, its appearance is really good. The packing of the table isn't good enough so one of the parts was damaged and had to ask for a replacement

Pros: Good Price, Good Appearance

Cons: Low Quality, hard assembly, packing is not protective enough

I received this item and had a major headache with it's packaging, shipping, and delivering (and customer service). Despite the shipping and handling errors and receiving damaged and/or missing pieces, the material looked fairly cheap. The wood looked like it would chip and damage easily. The wood looked synthetic and though the structure itself would look nice after assembly, I would question the cosmetic lifetime of this stand. Be careful when you are setting up or building this stand, it looks like if you bang a couple boards together by accident it will definitely cause some injury to the surfaces.

My headache with this item's shipping and handling: Half of the items in my last order for this tv stand were damaged. They were complete eyesores. I am not talking about a few nicks and dings. I mean it looks as if someone took a hammer to some of the surfaces on this item. Several of the pieces were chipped as well. I am not sure if the pieces were damaged during shipping, or if Amazon Warehouse Deals Inc. thought this item was of "New" quality. This is the second time I received this item. The first time I ordered this stand, half of the items were missing.. They sent 1 of 2 boxes. I waited a week for the second box but none came. I could not even get into contact with the seller. I contacted Amazon and was informed that it is impossible to call Amazon Warehouse Deals Inc., and that I would simply have to return the item myself, wait 1-2 weeks for the warehouse to receive my package so my refund can be processed, which would take about another week in itself. I tried emailing and messaging Amazon Warehouse Deals Inc. but only received an error message on Amazon.com and in my email saying the seller's email address didn't exist, which didn't surprise me. I've been quite fed up with just ordering this item. Hesitate when you are going to click the confirm order button when purchasing this stand. Give amazon plenty of time for returning the item and processing your refund, and definitely be wary of Amazon Warehouse Deals Inc.

I have not given up though.. despite everything. For the price and after looking at other tv stands of similar quality, I am set on receiving this item (in finally New condition). For the price, it appears to be a good item of ok quality. It would be a nice furniture piece to hang a plasma over, as long as you don't get up close to the piece and notice it isn't the best quality. Although I suppose no one but yourself would care anyways..

Anyway, I will wait for my refund to process or until my next paycheck so that I can re-order this item. I choose Amazon because I love Amazon, I would give them my business and my money over other online vendors (Overstock.com Target.com) anyday. If you have Amazon Prime (I use the college discount), utilize. I received both items within 3-4 days of purchasing. This sped up the return process at least.

I will be pruchasing the next stand from Amazon itself --don't be confused, Amazon Warehouse Deals Inc. and Amazon itself are totally different vendors. Amazon has excellent customer service as AWD Inc.'s is non-existent.

I will update this post later when I finally receice a good shipment and will post a picture of it after it is set up. I am very excited to finally have this set up in my living room.

This item ships in two separate boxes(large and small). The larger box was extremely heavy and I think the FEDEX handlers must have dropped it several times because the box was badly damanged. I opened it up and everything looked okay initially, but about 3/4 of the way through assembling the unit I found there were some pieces with cosmetic damage(in places that will be displayed and one broken shelf bottom. There was no way I would be able to dissassemble the entire thing and try to re-box it properly, so we're kind of stuck with it.

As others have mentioned the instructions are not good. The pieces are supposed to be marked or labeled, but many of mine were not and some had been stamped with red ink on the side that had faded so badly I couldn't read them anyway. I did manage to get it together after about 3 hours.

I looked through the instructions for some way to call to get just the damaged pieces replaced but there was no info at all. I got it all put together and it looks nice, but some of the pieces that had damage are the ones that are showing. I plan to go to a hardware store and find a cover up pen or paint to try and hide the damage.

I got a huge EXPEDIT shelf from IKEA and these fits perfectly into each cube. It is a bit longer than the EXPEDIT is deep, so if the shelf sits flush to the wall, these baskets might stick out a little, but for me, the shelf is about .5-1" away from the wall, so these doesn't stick out.

holds a lot of toys for the kids, sturdy, and has a nice clean look. I would recommend these even if you don't use it with EXPEDIT.

My 14 yr. old son has a small walk in closet. He had a tall dresser and STUFFED them full! He opted to get rid of the dresser to free up room for desk, night stand and bed, while adding shelves to his closet for storing all his clothes and other stuff. I wasn't sure he could use all six, but figured I could use them elsewhere. He did use all of them for not only socks, but also t-shirts and pants. It's not a large basket, so his clothes are still "stuffed" in the baskets. He has three on each shelf (40" long) and three on the shelf below, appearing like a dresser.

His shelves are 15 7/8" deep and they fit perfect with the handle facing the front. So the measurements the sight are from handle to handle is 16" and the 10" is deep.

I use these all over the house to store a variety of items. In my laundry room, I have them on a shelf and they contain laundry items and to store paper towels, napkins, paint brushes, you name it. Under the sink in my bathroom I use these baskets to store toilet paper, liquid soap, hairspray, etc. I bought the six-pack and had no problem finding places to put them. I like that they "hide" what is inside, especially in my laundry room. I also store school supplies in them. I like that they are substantial, and not flimsy. Very durable!

I bought the containers to use in my classroom for backpacks and coats instead of hooks on the wall. I built wood shelves to go below my white board and placed the containers on the shelves to save room in the classroom. The containers are the perfect size.

John Louis Home Deluxe Stand Alone Tower

I ordered the tower to finish my closet remodel and was disappointed to find only two shelves included. You'll notice the picture has four. The John Louis closet system seems reasonably priced until you realize how many parts and pieces you'll need to complete an even modest sized space. Overall, the quality is good, but for most walk-in closets (mine is approximately 7'x4') you'll need to order at least two complete sets to get it done.

The product is nice and high quality. However, it does not come with any shelves, as shown in the picture. It comes with the sides, top an bottom only. If you want shelves, they are over $50.00 per pair.

I'm returning the product because I think this is a cheap trick to get you to buy the expensive accessories.

In the old days, we'd call this low-balling.

The organizer is relatively easy to put up but the picture makes you think there are many more shelves for this unit. In fact there were none that came with it. I had to order extra shelves to the tune of $50 per 2 shelves for the unit. It is still not a bad deal compared to california closets or other all wood closet organizers.

If you have a John Louis system you are already familiar with the tower unit. This is just a standalone unit that you can add for more storage space. It is made of the same materials as the closet system and goes together similarly. One thing to be aware of, it does not come with any adjustable shelves! Depending on your usage, you will probably want 2-4 shelves, so you'll need to factor that into the tower's cost. It comes with the four "walls" sides, top, and bottom, and mounting hardware. So what you have when you are done is an empty tower ready to add shelves, drawers, etc. to.

I ordered this along with the closet organizer system from John Louis to use as a shoe rack for my wife. I was a little annoyed that it does not come with any shelf inserts, they are sold separately, which makes the cost of the tower enclosure on it's own seem overpriced. But at the same time it does make sense b/c there are several custom options you can choose with this enclosure (all shelves, or combination of shelves and drawers, doors, etc)

My biggest issue was the installation. The instructions have you measure, mark out, and place the wall brackets for the sides which need to be precisely correct so the shelves will fit (too close and shelves won't go in, too far and shelves will fall to the floor). The problem I had was with the included dry wall anchors which are difficult to stay on center when screwing them into the wall. I ended up with a slightly too wide initial placement(about 1/4-3/8in) of spacing making my shelves prone to slipping out of the groves. I had to pull it down, patch the wall holes and start over again the next day. On day two, instead of measuring the placements of the wall brackets, I installed the two top hanging brackets, then assembled the whole unit (sans shelves) and hung it on the wall, then I just marked the location of the side brackets and was much faster than dealing with drawing plum lines etc. To deal with the drywall anchor issue, I found a piece of PVC pipe found around the house which I used as a guide to keep them on center and not wobble while screwing into the wall.

I purchased a pair of these shelves and they installed easily. I was a little surprised that the shelf is not flush against the wall when mounted, but curves very slightly away from the wall with the deepest portion being in the center where the support is. Still, this does not detract from it's function or appearance. The shelf needs to be loaded evenly, as it does only have the single support and will tip to one side if one item is much heavier than the other. I am happy with the shelves and they work perfectly in the application I purchased them for.

While the shelf itself is an attractive way to display items and not be too concerned about space or damaging wall, the anchors supplied are not adequate for intended use. Ease of install is hampered with inferior anchors. I used some of my own anchors and install was a breeze.
