Hanging Window Plant Shelves

This is just what I needed to take advantage of a sunny window in my laundry room. It was easy to install and to adjust. Everything you need is there and it's ready to hang. It's practically invisible when nothing is on it. I'm looking forward to having some fresh herbs growing near the kitchen instead of out in the yard. I'm going to start some vegetables early with seeds instead of buying plants later. I'm glad I didn't have to make any permanent shelves in that window. This is something that can be moved from one window to another or even taken when you move because it isn't permanently attached. It's just hanging on a nail or two.

This shelf unit is wonderful. Plants look like they are floating. This unit is easy to install-instructions were clear and precise. I have no windows with southern exposure so this unit is perfect! I would especially recommend it to anyone who grows African violets. Just a perfect display for colorful plants during winter and summer.

This hanging, adjustable, nearly invisible window plant shelf unit solves all of the problems I encounter trying to maximize window plant space in an apartment. It causes virtually no damage and uses the space in the window without overwhelming it. I have no garden or porch space and this works perfectly for my small potted herbs, vegetables and flowers.

The product is so versatile, I was able to engineer a pretty easy solution for my extra challenging window using the old blind fixture, a 1x1 wooden stake and a couple of L brackets. It is very sturdy and stable for how I am using it.

It comes fully assembled in the basic configuration, has easy to read instructions with photographs, includes spare hardware and even has a level. This is an exceptional product.

The shelves install quickly and look great. The design is elegantly functional, very simple and satisfying. Packaging is super thoughtful: they include a 9" level and even an index card to protect your wall when hammering in the one nail that supports the shelves. I purchased a Coaster 5 tier corner wall unit through vision decor. The item arrived with the finish peeling and cracked on the edges and was of extremely poor quality, very unstable. Do not use it to display valuable objects. The finish was to be dark walnut but was very red in color. All that being said, it suited my purposes so I decided to keep it. Upon assembly it was missing one small part. I contacted Coaster who in turn said I needed to contact Visiondecor-that was April 4th. Since then I have received nothing but a runaround "the person who handles the replacements parts is no longer with the company", Coaster is not responding etc. It has now been over 2 months and Visiondecor is not even responding to my emails. Buyer Beware!!!!!!

The item was received just as described. I am very happy with it. It fits perfectly, where I intended to put it.

You need to know that it is not dark walnut, its a cherry color. I knew this risk when I bought it because of the other reviews, took my chances and it was not dark. Other than that, it is nice, it came with all the necessary parts and it was easy to put together. If you are wanting something in a dark walnut color I would not recommend this for you.

It is as described, but it's not sturdy. Pretty piece, I just wish it was wider, and that the support was stronger, the shelves are tiny...if too much weight is forward it leans forward. Not bad, but not what I was wanting. Hence the 3 stars!

The shelves were only a little difficult to figure out how to assemble and install, but the instructions are good. The cable management is a little on the small and difficult side. But, the shelves are attractive and very sturdy.

We had to return this item when it turned out the bracket was actually 9" deep instead of the description that says 8" (it did not fit in the space in our kitchen). It's quite a hefty pair of brackets and no complaints about build quality here. It just didn't work for us because the product description was off.

Edsal 7216H Steel Commercial Shelving Unit, 36" Width x 72" Height x 16" Depth

I've had these shelves before and they held up for many years. One negative is the assembly with some 60+ nuts and bolts to try to align with the not always so aligned holes. Otherwise, a good product.

Not worth the time or money. It was packed poorly. Pieces did not match up some were bent which does not allow screws to go thru. Terribly constructed

Most of the holes in the shelves did not match up with the holes in the legs, thank goodness there was two spots in each corner of the shelf,so I could at least get one nut and bolt per corner of the shelf. on a positive note it gave my husband a WEEKEND project to do.

I started putting them together like the instructions said but it didn' come with enough screws and nuts. So I bought more screws and nuts I also screwed them to the wall to sturdy them up

Save yourself a lot of grief and frustration and if you need shelving, go to Lowe's or Home Depot. This is absolutely the worst piece of s*** assemble yourself product that I have ever purchased. I only regret that I can't give it zero stars. I feel violated! The assembly holes don't even remotely line up when trying to put this crap together. Amazon should be ashamed of themselves for offering such a piece of crap. Someone needs to tell the supervisors of the 8-year-olds in China that are building this s*** that they aren't doing a very good job!

John Louis Home Deluxe Stand Alone Tower

I ordered the tower to finish my closet remodel and was disappointed to find only two shelves included. You'll notice the picture has four. The John Louis closet system seems reasonably priced until you realize how many parts and pieces you'll need to complete an even modest sized space. Overall, the quality is good, but for most walk-in closets (mine is approximately 7'x4') you'll need to order at least two complete sets to get it done.

The product is nice and high quality. However, it does not come with any shelves, as shown in the picture. It comes with the sides, top an bottom only. If you want shelves, they are over $50.00 per pair.

I'm returning the product because I think this is a cheap trick to get you to buy the expensive accessories.

In the old days, we'd call this low-balling.

The organizer is relatively easy to put up but the picture makes you think there are many more shelves for this unit. In fact there were none that came with it. I had to order extra shelves to the tune of $50 per 2 shelves for the unit. It is still not a bad deal compared to california closets or other all wood closet organizers.

If you have a John Louis system you are already familiar with the tower unit. This is just a standalone unit that you can add for more storage space. It is made of the same materials as the closet system and goes together similarly. One thing to be aware of, it does not come with any adjustable shelves! Depending on your usage, you will probably want 2-4 shelves, so you'll need to factor that into the tower's cost. It comes with the four "walls" sides, top, and bottom, and mounting hardware. So what you have when you are done is an empty tower ready to add shelves, drawers, etc. to.

I ordered this along with the closet organizer system from John Louis to use as a shoe rack for my wife. I was a little annoyed that it does not come with any shelf inserts, they are sold separately, which makes the cost of the tower enclosure on it's own seem overpriced. But at the same time it does make sense b/c there are several custom options you can choose with this enclosure (all shelves, or combination of shelves and drawers, doors, etc)

My biggest issue was the installation. The instructions have you measure, mark out, and place the wall brackets for the sides which need to be precisely correct so the shelves will fit (too close and shelves won't go in, too far and shelves will fall to the floor). The problem I had was with the included dry wall anchors which are difficult to stay on center when screwing them into the wall. I ended up with a slightly too wide initial placement(about 1/4-3/8in) of spacing making my shelves prone to slipping out of the groves. I had to pull it down, patch the wall holes and start over again the next day. On day two, instead of measuring the placements of the wall brackets, I installed the two top hanging brackets, then assembled the whole unit (sans shelves) and hung it on the wall, then I just marked the location of the side brackets and was much faster than dealing with drawing plum lines etc. To deal with the drywall anchor issue, I found a piece of PVC pipe found around the house which I used as a guide to keep them on center and not wobble while screwing into the wall.
