Xola Console Table
When I tried to return the product, the seller informed me that they do not take items back due to buyers who change their mind only if the product is damaged. No where on the page did it mention any refund policy and you actually have to go into the seller's website to read through the policy.
Now I'm stuck with a table I don't like.I am very satisfied with this table. It seems to be made from a heavier wood (not cheap particle board or plywood). Putting this piece together was very simple (although it uses allen wrnch screws and I hate allen wrench screws).Build quality is great and the wood looks awesome! Really added to our entry way. I want to get the other matching tables for the living room. While this is solid wood and looks great in the picture, I was highly disappointed in the color. I wanted a dark expresso-like wood which is comparable to the photo. What I received was a light-colored oak type table which would probably look better in a Cracker Barrel then in my modern home. I wish I could send back but I think I proscratinated too long. I will probably sell it at my garage sale this weekend or try and sand then re-stain it. Oh well...you win some and lose some..

42-Inch Black Wood TV Stand with Mount
As far as AV and media storage, this unit has ample storage for just about anything you will likely need. I have a Blu-ray and standard DVD player, AV receiver, VCR, DVR, Play Station, HTPC, center, left, and right speakers all neatly stacked on the built in shelves and on the top of the table part of the unit. As I said, I took one of the media drawers and converted it to hold my HTPC but in the media drawer I did not modify, I am able to fit about 70 DVDs and Blu-Ray discs in their plastic holders.
The unit itself is very sturdy and holds the TV well. One thing you will need to do is buy the screws to mount the TV to the mount part of the unit separately because they are not included. If you check your TV manual it should tell you what size you need and you can pick these up at just about any hardware store for a couple bucks. The unit is 42 inches wide but easily accommodates a 46" LCD TV with a little less than an inch of overhang on each side (43.5" total). Check the overall dimensions of your TV but the specs I found on the unit state it holds TVs up to 50". You may want to double check on plasma TVs since they can be significantly heavier than LCDs.
One other major consideration was cable management. Although this unit does not have any built in cable management features, I was able to get most of the cables connecting the equipment nicely organized and out of sight. It has holes on the back panel for cables to be routed through. These are somewhat small and can make the initial setup interesting but once you have the cables through it allows you to fairly easily bundle and hide them. You can also use ties to attach cables to the vertical support for the mount to hide the cables that run from your components in the shelves to the inputs on the TV itself.
Overall, I do not think you will find a better unit for the price. This entertainment center has massive amounts of storage for AV equipment and media and as I said, with slight modifications can even be used as to hold an HTPC. The built in mount looks great and places your TV at the perfect viewing level without requiring you to mount it on the wall. I highly recommend this unit to anyone with a moderately sized flat screen TV that is looking to organize their living room.

this tv console looks great and the 42in led tv fits perfect that i bought for it. i really like the storage for my kids games and movies.Read Best Reviews of 42-Inch Black Wood TV Stand with Mount Here
The Walker Edison 42-Inch Wood TV Stand Console with Mount, Black is nice piece of furniture. After reading many reviews on amazon, wayfarer, and Walmart I decided this stand was was the best stand with mount for the price point. (just under 220)In all, solid piece of furniture, stand works well, and the DVD doors are awesome, fills up nicely. ITs not a BDI or Salamander quality stand. But works well and deserves a good look. I have no regrets and would buy this again.
But Some things to think about.
1. it is true the stand does not come with screws to mount your television. its an easy fix. Google what size mount screws I need for your TV, and in seconds you will have your answer.
2. The mount is top notch. Its solid and connects to the stand with 4 screws that are thick and long enough to make you feel safe for any size television. I mounted a 42 inch sony LCD. works fine. There is lots of room for an upgrade TV maybe a 50 or 46 inch. the crossbar measure 23 inches from top of stand and I would not go bigger than stand that measure 43inches wide.
3. The finish was a little disappointing. Unlike ikea products that have a smooth laminate finish, this finish had a textured finish that felt a little too fake. But this is a personal taste, and not a deal breaker for the price point.
4. The assembly was easy but a few places to pay special attention too.
The door assembly:
It can easily be done wrong (IE. putting the door upside down or on the wrong side. MAke sure you identify the right and left door before putting the door fronts on. The handle is on the inside side or opposite of hinge side. The metal plate for magnet latch is on top. Sounds easy but trust me you need to measure twice and assemble once if you get what I am saying.
The attachment of the doors:
It can be tough and you get one shot at this, so pay careful attention or you can have gaps on bottom or top. I assembled the doors while the stand was upright, should have followed the direction and lay the stand on its back.
6. The audio shelves are small, and it take a little finesse to get it right. but it can be done. the connection on the back of the equipment was not accounted for. I put in a monster power box, Sony dvd, Direct TV genie. The only problem was direct tv the coaxial cables were problematic.
In All its a 4 star unit because its an average piece of furniture that has a great price point. The entertainment set is a good size and holds a lot of dvd's, and if your a gamer like me your gaming stuff fits too. It took 2 hrs to assemble, it was easy just time consuming.

I bought two of these to store my garden potatoes and onions in. They are perfect for that as they allow the air to flow around them and take up little space. Probably not a good idea to purchase one if you want to store anything heavy.Read Best Reviews of Wire World 3-Tier Rolling Cart, White Here
the cart seem work just OK, IF YOU put a few light items on itthere some things I don't like the product are 4 the Wheels because they don't run smooth when moving around
and also it is fall because of the weak frame cart when items on it.I needed something to store potatoes, onions, fruits, peanuts & etc. that was off the floor but not inside a cabinet and this works great. I put a dish towel in each tier cos I don't like onion skins dropping on the floor and it is exactly what I needed!

Mini Empire Kitchen Island
It packs a lot of storage space into a small footprint, which I like. I store my mixing bowls in the top and pot lids in the bottom.
The prior reviewer must have had bad luck and received an off piece or something, because everything fit perfectly and the doors close fine. The top was a tiny bit rough in places, but a little sandpaper and mineral oil fixed that.
Assembly did take a while, but my husband did most of it himself. I helped hold pieces for him at a couple points when he was joining everything together near the end, so those parts were definitely easier with two people. We didn't measure each screw and it still went fine. I sorted them into prep bowls beforehand.
The pull out counter bit is almost the perfect height for a five year old to use as a counter. My son loves to measure out ingredients for bread, muffins and cookies while I'm making something else on the taller countertop. So it's a fun parent/child cooking space.

I consider my husband a pretty good handyman working with everything from plumbing to electrical to building furniture from scratch before but this was a BEAR to assemble. The biggest problem is that the parts are not labeled. You have to individually measure each one (down to the 1/8 in.) to be able to tell which is which. After over 4 hours! of assembly time (with me helping hold things) the unit looks fairly nice but the doors do not close properly. They stick at the top and will require some heavy sanding to fix. The butcher block top also looks very nice and appears to be well made except it is not sanded smooth in places. Overall, it really is a good looking piece but for well over $500 I expected an easier assembly and a lot better fit and finish.Read Best Reviews of Mini Empire Kitchen Island Here
The description says this cabinet has TWO side pull-outs, but in fact, it only has one, unless you count the drawer as a pull-out. It came completely, and I do mean COMPLETELY, unassembled, with a 40 page set of nearly undecipherable instructions. None of the parts were labeled, and each one had to be measured to match it up with the parts list. It took me about 5 min to figure out I was never going to get this thing together myself, and ended up hiring a professional carpenter to put it together. It took him close to 4 hours, and it turned out some of the wooden screw hole covers and a couple of screw were short. He substituted the screws, but the covers are an odd size and I had to send a form (enclosed in the box) to the company to request "spare" parts. I have not heard back.Once assembled, the unit feels sturdy and looks good although it was very much lighter than the photo, and I ended up staining it to get the "honey oak" color. Also. the butcher block was very rough and needed a lot of sanding.
Having said all that, the unit does look good in my kitchen, it is easy to move, and it is a good work height. But I will never order another item from this company unless it comes fully, or nearly fully assembled! This kitchen island was perfect for the space we needed filled. The instructions to put the island together were very clear and my husband and I were able to do it in about two and a half hours. We are very pleased with this product.
