Baseball Shelf- Large 25" Round Wood Sports Shelf

I ordered this to display my son's baseball trophies. It is a very nice shelf and I love that you can customize it. It comes with so many options for displaying any type of object bat, balls, hat, jersey as well as the trophies. It arrived quickly and was easy to install. I would like to be able to purchase additional accessories but haven't found an option to do that yet.

So here's the deal: You, like me, want a single wall unit that will fit all of your games. You have a lot of games, and they are currently on a whole plethora of different racks. You want to consolidate into a single media storage unit, but you don't want to waste floor space. That's where this behemoth of a media storage rack comes in.

I couldn't, after weeks of research, find any other wall mountable rack that is this large or bigger. So I bought it, and put the sucker together, which is time consuming, but very easy. Obviously, it's all MDF, you're not going to get anything else at this price. But for what I paid, the shelves should be a little sturdier. The shelves on this unit are about 1/4" thick and bow. I am not impressed at all with this. My current floor standing units which are about 60% the capacity of this Venture Horizon, and were less than half the price, are made of dramatically sturdier MDF materials. I have a feeling these shelves will all be bowed down in permanent plastic deformation within a year. I will probably end up replacing them out at some point.

Also of note, which is the case with almost any wall mountable storage unit: the trim pieces on the vertical dividers cover up the outermost DVD/game. I have way too many video games to go around wasting valuable space with empty filler cases. I would lose 24 spots if I filled up every divider overlap! That's not worth it to me. It's not a terrible thing, but it's something to keep in mind if you want to be able to see every single case from an orthogonal viewing angle.

The superstructure of this unit is very sturdy and is held into place with pre-tapped screw and cam systems, along with a few wood screws. Keep in mind that the factory tolerances will not be perfect, and the further into assembly you progress, the fewer holes will line up. If you want to prevent splitting the MDF, I would recommend keeping a drill handy and pre-drilling the corrected holes.

Why the three stars you ask? Well, it looks pretty nice, the structure itself (excluding the flimsy shelves) is sturdy, and it's the biggest wall mountable shelf out there. But it has shortcomings. Just because it's the only option, doesn't make it the best one. If you're like me, you're stuck, and you buy this and you live with it. I have no regrets, I'm glad I bought it.

Materials looked great. However, there was an improper cut to the top of one of my cabinets. This caused the top to not fit properly. Secondly, both cabinets had a pieced damaged in the shipping process. Other than that, the cabinets looked as pictured and look perfect in our closet.

This shelving unit and baskets is perfect for our son's nursery: it was easy enough to put together, it's sturdy, functional and handsome. The quality isn't spectacular-the back, for instance, is thin particleboard-but seems adequate for the price.

Espresso Altus Wall Mounted Audio/Video Console

This is a wonderful console to place under your wall mounted flat screen TV. I was looking for something that would get the TV/DVD/Cable wires up off the floor and hidden. This console does this beautifully. However, be prepared to have some time on your hands in order to mount this on the wall. My husband had the kit opened and was ready to put it up, when he realized there were no mounting screws. The directions did state that they were not included, but there were no guidelines as to what type to buy, etc. So, after a trip to the local Lowe's, the correct mounting equipment was purchased and he was ready to do the job. Everything went fairly well, although it was a bit trickly getting the holes drilled in the back of the unit. It's up now and is really solid. Very attractive unit, just time-consuming and tricky in some ways to put up. Also, we called the Prepac Helpline, asking if there was a kit with the mounting materials. All they could tell us was that there wasn't a kit and they referred us back to the seller for information. Anyway, they weren't much help.

I really like this console. Although this console isn't made of real wood, it is very sturdy and does a great job of hiding wires. It was very easy to assemble. Warning: This console needs 3 studs to be wall mounted. The reason I took off a star is because, 1. It came with NO wall mounting hardware. The manual included says they don't supply the hardware needed to mount the console to the wall. That is ridiculous! 2. This console does not hold 100 regular DVD cases like the advertisement says it does. It holds around 80 DVDs. (EDIT: The advertisement states 100 Blu-ray cases. I'm still going to keep the star off for not having any hardware to mount the console.)Other than these two flaws I do recommend the console.

I absolutely love this shelving unitit's very sleek and modern looking. We just had it installed and it looks great. Because the shelves are so deep, you can't see the wires from the xbox, dvd player, cable box at all! We have an xbox, playstation, cable box, router, tons of DVDs and a receiver on the shelf and it's very sturdy. I definitely recommend this for below your mounted flat screen!! It really opens up your living room and adds space.

I bought this for my daughters room, she and her friends like it. I hung it 41" from the floor to the top shelf, she uses the bottom shelf for her text books, I have a 42" LG lcd, which hangs 5.5" above the unit. I notice all of the shelves slope slightly downward. No wall mounting hardware, I bought 3 lag bolts, one for each stud. This unit comes in a very flat narrow box but I thought it was fun to put together, I was not able to break or strip any of the pieces. Your gonna need a drill bit about the size of the lag bolt for the piece of wood that attaches to the wall, a stud finder, and a smaller drill bit for wall so the lag bolts go in easier. Enjoy

This console is sikk, i put it together by myself.. nothing serious.. you just separate each and every piece in the box.. mark them with a post-it. C1.. C2.. etc, and the little pieces that come in the bag.. open the bag and separate them too.. and just begin the process. You can't lose. Before anything just go to your local home depot or hardware store and get yourself 1/4 x 3 in lag bolts because they don't supply it.. its like a $1.50 for 3 or 4 of them. i Used two lag bolts for two studs on the wall that i mounted it on. I used 4 for more security.. two lag bolts in the middle for the stud, and two 1/4" hollow wall toggle bolt anchors for the left and right corner. As stated in one of the reviews before mine, the wall will come down before this console. Its pretty awesome, it hides all your wires if you fish them correctly and boom!, you're good to go!

I ordered these shelves ready-to-paint and they turned up quickly and as expected. They look and feel well made and go great with our decor. They are not, however, easy to install. The way they attach to the wall is via 5 screws that need to be a) precisely spaced and b) level. This means you will have quite a bit of work to do getting them exactly in-line or the shelf will not attach to the wall. I'm also quite suspicious as to whether this will create a really firm connection. It would be nice if these attached via some sort of bracket anchored with two or three points (instead of five).

I have only had this product for a few days, but so far I could not be happier. I bought it on Amazon for $49.99 with free shipping to try to help organize my daughters toy. It arrived in about 36 hours! It was very easy to put together and the cherry color matches my cherry table (which is in the same room) perfectly! I purchased 4 natural closetmaid fabric drawers from Target and placed them in the four corners leaving the other shelves open for bigger toys. Target sells 2 packs of the drawers for $12.99, which was the best price I could find. I highly recommend this product.

I actually purchased this item in-store, at Target. If you've ever purchased "do-it-yourself" particle board furniture, expect similar quality; however, I was surprised at the finish, as it seems a little more durable, has a very slight texture and a polished shine to it. Not the matte look that is so typical and scratches easily.

Putting the unit together was a breeze and I highly recommend purchasing some additional pieces to create your own organizing system. The second piece I've bought is Item 78817, Closetmaid Cubicals Stack or Hang 2 Cube Organizer, which I'm going to hang above it or lay it on top to create a tiered look.

The fabric bins that fit into each cube are as of September 2010 $6.99/ea or $12.99/two pack; I just wish they had an orange color...but they do have a lot of colors to choose, so I went aall natural with cream; khaki and taupe.

Summing it up. Five stars for sturdy feel, optional wall attachment clip to keep it from falling on small children, better than most do-it-yourself furniture finishes, ease of installation and the all important price point.

I got this cube thingy for my 2 year old son's toys. The finish was nice and matched his bed, and the cube boxes worked well too. Its very sturdy an doesn't wobble at all, like some particle board things do.

The only issues I had with it was that none of the boards were drilled through to allow the pegs through, but it was easy to fix, and the backs were very ugly. My solution to that was to buy some colorful scrapbook paper and cover them. It made the shelf really fun for my son because there are different colors and patterns inside each cube.

Over all, I really like this product and intend to buy another one for my self to hold purses and hats and such

The organizer looks great once assembled and is exactly as pictured. However, the panels are a lot more flimsy than they appear in the pictures and can't hold much weight. I wanted to stack up two of these together against the wall, but that didn't work because the frame wouldn't hold together. On one of the units, the wood cracked from the bottom when i was assembling it, this was without any pressure at all. I'll be keeping these for now, but I'm sure there are more sturdy alternatives available.

I absolutely LOVE this item! I first bought it in white for my 3 year old son's room, liked it so much that I bought 2 more for my living room. (in the espresso finish) They look great in the living room, and when you pair it up with the natural color canvas baskets it works GREAT to hide my son's toys he leaves in the living room! I use one for his toys, and the other one for my cookbooks/nicknacks. My mom came to visit and now wants one, she's ordering one as soon as she gets home!

One thing to warn you however, the pieces were NOT labeled, but it was still really easy to put together. I think it took MAYBE 10 minutes total. Very sturdy once it's assembled, I don't know why others gave it a bad review for a "cheap feel". For the price, it EXCEEDED my expectations! It's well worth the price I paid, if not more! Origami Shelf Liners

I thought these were a bit pricy at the time just to keep the occasional item from falling through the shelf on one of my origami units. A box works, right? But they are solid and no-slip with great magnetic attachment. What a difference. We just went from a great roll-around project organizer to a terrific roll-around project organizer! Collapsible Clothing Rack-Commercial Grade

If you are a first time buyer or someone like me, who watched their clothing rack slowly lean and then fall over right in front of my eyes, this is the last stop for you. This is the real deal. I didn't know it was the real thing just by looking at the picture or by almost all of the great reviews on it. It seemed like it was well made. In the product description it says, "It's the same classic, salesperson's garment rack that has been used with confidence by professional salespeople for decades". I thought it's to bad I never paid any attention to garment racks before because if I had I'd know what they were talking about.

I went ahead and bought one. They don't cost much. It gets delivered to me and I'm thinking I'll have to read some assembly instructions written by someone who speaks english as a distant language. As I pull the rack out of the box I realize I won't be needing any assembly instructions because it's already assembled! (well almost, except for the top part you hang your clothes on). So it took me about two minutes to swing the left and right upright bars into place and then grab the top part and push it down into the position I want it in and then 'Snapped' it in place.

As you look at it you realize this is made out of steel. All the steel is joined together by perfect welds and anything that isn't welded is securely fastened by heavy duty nuts and bolts, i.e. the 4" ball bearing casters. Be aware that there are four plastic (heavy duty) parts. They are placed over the steel tubing that slightly protrudes past each 4" ball bearing caster so that when you move the rack (with ease) and accidentally bump into something the small white plastic "bumper" will tap it instead of 1" O.D. chrome steel tubing. When you look at this rack you realize you have no buyers remorse. It looks and feels like it's going to last for a hundred years. Before putting any clothes on it you have a sense that this rack is not going to lean or fall over during those hundred years. You can even pull out the left and right top tubing about a foot more on each side for that extra room that I know I need. I've had this thing loaded with clothes for over a year and it's as solid and versatile as the day I took it out of the box and realized I didn't have to put something together for once.

Do I like the clothing rack?, I think so. Do I recommend this clothing rack to people who don't know anything about clothing racks but hope they make the right decision the first time or the people who have experienced, as I have, the ahhh and no mystery of plastic and metal clothing racks crumbling before their very eyes, YES!!!

If you are looking for a heavy duty garment rack, this is it. I purchased the first one to free up closet space and I just had to get a second one for guests. I hosted a party and did not have to worry about the rack falling apart or tilting to one side. Easy access for everyone coming and going. When not in use it folds away nicely.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this rack. I keep thinking of uses for them if I only had MORE. I could use a few next to the dryer, a few in the attic, and even one next to our door for guests to hang (or US to hang) our coats on. The possibilities are endless.

I had it out of the box and was using it in five minutes.

Whoever couldn't find the instructions, they are in the packing slip on the OUTSIDE of the box. They are VERY easy to follow, and I attached the top rack with no difficulty at all (I just attached one end to a support pole and pulled on the other end to hold it still and extend the poles from each other to attach the top rod. SIMPLE and easy!)

I also ordered the regular rack that doesn't fold down. I love it too, but this is nice because you can tuck it away when not in use.

I want more MANY MORE!!!!

Yeah, when my box arrived it wasn't in the BEST shape, but this thing is SOLIDLY built.

this garment rack has survived a move of 1000 miles, 1 year of storage in a NON climate controlled storage unit is SUNNY/HOT/HUMID FLORIDA.

This rack is STILL GOING STRONG, I have cloths hung on it SO TIGHT I'll bet it is holding 100 pounds of clothing. IT IS A WORK HORSE. It has been banged around in the back of a pickup, and has helped hold clothes out doors for yard sales events. STILL WORKS AND LOOKS GREAT, I could not be more pleased!!!!

Based on the excellent reviews, I wasn't expecting any problems from this collapsible clothing rack. However, when it arrived I found that the box did not contain assembly instructions or any information about the product whatsoever. This wouldn't normally be a big deal since the item is pretty much two big pieces BUT the box also included two hook-like metal parts and two small metal circles which I can't for the life of me figure out what to do with. Am I supposed to secure the wheels or the rack with these parts? Are they extra? Why is there no information?

Additionally, after I had assembled the rack and added my 200+ lbs of clothes, I found that one of the wheels was being obstructed by a screw below it, which was preventing it from rolling smoothly. I then had to remove the 200+ lbs, disassemble the rack, and play around with the screws for a good 30 minutes before it would even roll over my carpet. It's not 100% smooth but at least it's more mobile than it was. Thankfully the rack appears strong and sturdy otherwise it would be going back to its seller.
