The holes did not line up so we inturn had to line them up and drill new holes. In the process the wood cracked. It was cheap wood and

the whole thing was at least 1/2" off making it rock when it stood up. It is too large to send back so we just glued it together. I will never order from this company again. Sorry it definitely was not what it was advertized as.

Although the storage cabinet is of good quality, it was difficult to assemble. The panels could not be aligned correctly. Two new holes had to be drilled into the side panels in order for the alignment to be accomplished. Remember this if you plan to purchase item.

Twenty years ago, I would have built the shelves I needed myself. These were the only shelves I could find to fill needs in a walk-in closet and in a kitchen alcove. My main two complaints are these: 1) two or three holes for wooden dowels in each unit were drilled too small causing the shelves to split when the dowels were driven home, and 2) even with the solid back and screws through to the shelves, the units are still rather wobbly. Nonethless, they have cleared up needed space in both locations.

Once assembled I really like the book shelf. It goes perfect in my new bedroom and hold a nice amount. I wouldn't want to store barbells on the shelves, but for the things I want to store blankets, DVDs and books it's fine.

But the assembly itself was rough. All of the parts came in great condition and the instructions seemed decent. Most of the assembly went fine, except for the back panel. It's supposed to slide into a groove cut into all 4 sides of the unit, but even with an extra set of hands it simply wouldn't stay locked into the groove. After hours of struggling to get it set, I assembled the shelving without the back panel, then sort of bent it into the grooves. I had to cut about 1/2" off the bottom of the panel to get it in, but when it was all said and done the unit looks great. I don't know if the instructions could be improved, or whether this is an inherent problem with the unit. You may want to stay away unless you're fairly proficient with flat-pack furniture assembly.

I was so excited to get this! We needed extra space for clothes. I couldn't wait to get it today and put it together. The baskets were nice, just like the picture shows, but the wood was terrible!! The 2 main pieces to it were broken! It wasn't even fixable. When I called to return it they asked me if I wanted a new one sent to me, and I decided to just get my money back and find one somewhere else. Besides the pieces being broke, the wood wasn't even close to feeling like it was very sturdy. Hope this helps!

I bough three of these to put under one of our kitchen cabinets. The arrived as advertised but after installing and using them disappointing and eventually decided to uninstall and find a better solution. Here are my complaints:

1. They are just an inch or two too short. 3 medium wine glasses don't fit comfortably, making us nervous that the last glass might slip out and break on the counter top. This isn't the sellers fault necessarily but...

2. The biggest issue is the "V" opening. It looks good but effectively reduces the depth making it much easier for a glass to slip out. This issue caused us to uninstall and search for another solution.

3. The screws could be better. They are unnecessarily long and poked through the bottom of my cabinet. Also they are cheap so some of the heads stripped despite predrilling holes.

After uninstalling I went to Lowes and to my surprise I found almost identical wine racks both in terms of finish and dimensions but CHEAPER and without the flaws mentioned above. They were the same length but they'd a square opening for the glasses in stead of the "V" opening. That gave us just enough room to store three glasses comfortably. The screws were also the correct length and better quality.

Overall these would be OK if I you were buying longer racks making the V opening a non-issue. The screws would still be insufficient but that would be an annoying but minor issue. BUT if you are looking for something 10-12 inch in length, go to Lowes. You will get a better product at a better price.

I ordered these hesitantly as I've been looking at different wine glass racks for a while now and many comments were about the size of the entry point and such. When I received my order, 2 of the 3 racks were perfect... they fit my nice fancy glasses and look great. The third, however, was a completely different size and finish. It was still "chrome" but it has a different level of shiny and it has a different height and width so my glasses didn't fit and it protrudes below the height of the others once hung. Pretty annoying to not get the same item if you ask me...

Otherwise, the first two were exactly what I was looking for... and I'd love to have a few more just like those, but I'm hesitant to buy here.

I bought two of these racks and they were both poorly constructed. The two flat ends (with the screw holes) were welded incorrectly so that those pieces were crooked in relation to the metal bars that hold the glasses. It may have been okay if they were equally screwed up because I could create the illusion that they shouldn't be straight.

If only one of them were bad, I would shrug it off as being an anomaly, but since they were both bad, I have to credit a bad product. I would not recommend this product.

Ordered 5 of these wine racks. All were not properly welded. This made hanging and squaring the racks very difficult. Save your money. Dont buy this product.

It's low profile, so it hides under a cabinet easily. It holds wine glasses without any problem and I haven't experienced any negative effects (scratched glass, dropped glass, etc). All in all, it's exactly what you would expect it to be.

I'm using this to prop up tablets, iphones, etc. while they are being charged, and it works well for that. I wanted something heavy enough to not move around as devices were shuffled about, and this has done a good job. I have no idea how this actually works for sorting papers, or for filing, but for storing electronic devices for charging, it works like a charm!

The picture does not do it justice. This is an elegant, well built, set of shelves. We bought them to hang plant lights on, so we can start our garden indoors, before the frost is gone. I was worried that they would look kind of tacky in the living room, but they are so beautiful and fit the living room so well. Looks like it could be a baker's rack or a nice plant shelf. Easy to put together and very sturdy. BTW, it came with extra parts, in case you'd rather have 2, 2-shelving units instead of one 4 shelving unit.

I originally purchased a Whitmor 14x36x72 shelf. I was happy with it, but needed a 48 in shelf to complete the rest of the space. While I was happy with the Whitmor shelf, it didn't come in the 48 inch dimensions I needed. I purchased this Alera because it had equally good reviews across multiple sites. When I went to build this, I realized that it only came with 4 shelves (as opposed to the five the Whitmor came with). I found this to be frustrating. You either have to keep the lower shelf pretty low, and give up useful space below it, or you raise it to make that space more useful and give up on some stability. I found it a little cheap of Alera to only provide 4 shelves, especially because the cost of purchasing additional shelves is a little outrageous.

Really sturdy. Instructions leave a little to be desired (they werent the clearest.) But it is very stable and holds a lot of weight.

This item arrived several days early, in perfect condition. Assembled very easily, especially considering it's size. I did it by myself and it required no tools. Very sturdy, it is holding heavy glass terrariums and full aquariums with ease and comes with stabilizing castors and wall anchors if you need them. I bought the black one and the finish is very durable, I was dragging and pushing my tanks into place with not a scratch.

Very happy with the purchase especially at the amazing price (apparently half off?) so much so I just ordered a slightly smaller version of the same thing.

Adjustable Stainless Steel Shower Caddy

It is very slick and convenient. The clamp at the top prevents it from slipping plus it has a suction cup at the bottom which can be rotated. The shelves can be adjusted both vertically and horizontally. Overall very useful and I strongly recommend this.

When I saw this shower caddy, I thought WOW what a great design. Adjustable shelves, soap dish, mesh body sponge holder, this caddy seemed to have it all.

What you see in pictures as usable product doesn't always work the way you hoped. I began to experience problems the moment I tried installing the Simple Human Flip and Fit Shower Caddy. The manufacturers of the shower caddy claim you can simply flip the tabs to move from side to side or up and down to accommodate plumbing. This is not true at least not for the shower head I had at the time. I tried every conceivable position for the shelves but could not make it work with my shower head. I finally gave up and purchased another shower head. The new shower head works but its full potential is limited due to the obstruction of the caddy.

The option of hanging a razor on the caddy is convenient but you need both hands to remove it from the holder otherwise you risk the possibility of popping the blade off. The hooks will accommodate body sponges with ropes but wash cloths without some kind of tag is difficult. I ended up buying a standalone hook to hold a wash cloth. And the suction cup that's supposed to prevent the caddy from shifting doesn't always stay connected to the tile.

As I mentioned it's a great looking caddy but it not worth the trouble I've experienced making it work.

They've put some cool innovations in this product: Slip proof hanger hook, adjustable shelves, etc. I wish the unit were a little longer so that taller items could fit in the top shelf and middle shelf without interferring with the shower head.

I don't know what the man is saying in the previous review. I've got a bar of soap and a buff puff (size of a bar of soap) in the bottom, soap area. I guess he doesn't want his man soap to touch his wife's lady soap.

The bottom stopper was bent in shipping but I'm sure it will flatten out with time.

I searched all over for a real stainless steel caddy. This is one of the best in that regard. 90% of those that advertise that they are stainless are not really. They are mostly plain steel with a brushed chrome plating that looks like stainless. I just threw away one such after only 2 years use. Beware of any that warn against using "harsh" abrasives that may damage the surface. Real stainless steel has no "surface", it's a mix of steel and chromium (10-25%). Abrasives will not harm stainless steel. This one passed the magnet test with flying colors. That means it is a high chromium content metal (20-25%), and as such is highly rustproof.

We have had our Simple Human shower caddy for over a year now, and it has easily paid for itself. Previously, we tried several of the less expensive units with "nickel finish" and "chrome" only to find they rust within a month or two. In our white tile shower that means breaking out the acidic chemicals to remove rust stains.

The upright is a sturdy anodized aluminum extrusion in sort of a flattened triangular shape, and it fits securely between ceiling and floor. The foot at the bottom is a complementary gray plastic, complete with a drain hole at the back to prevent water or condensation from pooling inside the upright.

The baskets are stainless steel, and are real stainless: they are not magnetic and have not rusted in the year we have had it (we live by the beach, and the salt air is very corrosive). A plastic clip assembly attaches the basket to the upright, and you can adjust the height of the baskets by flipping up the clip closure, sliding the basket to the new height, and closing the clip. Very nice!

Finally, a note about Simple Human customer service: upon installation, the top "towel bar" (the piece with two hooked rods) had the plastic clip assembly break. I found the number to call Customer Service, and the agent was very professional. "It sounds like you need a new towel bar!" was her response, and within three days I had one in the mail. I was impressed by their quick response and no-hassle handling: no RMA, no sending a part back, just a new part in the mail. Good for you, Simple Human. You have a new customer for life.

I got this under sink organizer to replace an old one. It's superior to others because the plastic shelf thingies have raised lips others are flat. The rods are metal. Adjustable height.

We bought this shelf for the bathroom vanity after it kept getting too cluttered and didn't have enough organized space to keep anything. This didn't come with instructions, but if you look at the picture on the box it's pretty obvious how it goes together. It's extended the full width of our vanity, so we're not using the hooks that can go on the side, but it's gotten us very organized.

Both the bottom and the top shelves are adjustable, so if you have taller items it shouldn't be a problem (i.e. you shouldn't have to put them on their side like the picture shows), or if you have short items you can even raise the bottom shelf and put things underneath that. The shelf isn't as deep as our cabinet is, so we pushed this back as far as I could, and we can keep some things on the cabinet floor in front as well, giving us a little more room for things. All in all, we're very happy with this shelving unit.

Great product incredibly quick and simple to put together, seems well-made and sturdy, and I love that you can adjust the width of the overall unit and the height of each shelf. I am back to buy two more for my kids' bathroom. If your undersink cabinet is wide and you will be expanding the unit (it expands up to 30"), there will naturally be spaces between the plastic shelf slats. I bought some inexpensive bins so that items don't topple over or fall through the spaces. (Or, I suppose you could cut a thin piece of plastic to fit into the shelf as a "floor." For either solution, you'd need to know the depth of the shelves I couldn't find this information anywhere in the description and needed to wait for the unit to arrive so I could measure it myself. To save you the trouble: the *inner* depth of the shelves (meaning the deepest your bins or shelf "flooring" can be from front to back) is 9.25". And in case you need to know the overall depth of the unit (meaning from the outsides of the frames, front to back), it's 11.75". Good product, I'm happy. Hope this helps.

Did quite a bit of internet searching for something to utilize the space under the sinks in the master. The last space saver we purchased was really quite flimsy.

Once installed, these systems are very sturdy and adaptable. We had a much wider space that pictured and used most of the shelf portions for the top rung and had plenty of room underneath for fairly large bottles. These storage shelves doubled the area. Happy we found them.
