Over the Sink Shelf

This would be a great shelf if I was able to put it together. Basically this shelf comes in three pieces. BUT it doesn't fit together. I think it would be a great shelf if only I can get it together. I'm not sure if I want my dad to sand it down to make it fit, or if I should just send it back...

Not very sturdy at all. Hoping to put a couple of small things up there as a decor holder, but my items were too big. Much thinner and flimsy than I thought it would be. It is still attractive though.

I can't believe how cheap the material is--after all the work to get it together, while lifting it, the bottom drawer fell out and broke in 3 splintered pieces! This isn't even pressed BOARD--it's like pressed paper! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY, even if you like the design, as I did. It's too bad this is so cheap in the material. This storage cabinet does what I need it tobut it's definitely not worth the cost. It should probably cost half of the asking price. It's very cheaply made and unstable. I have a very small bathroom and limited options which is why I got it, but if you're considering it I would definitely say find something of better quality. I don't see it lasting even a year.

Sadly the instructions don't tell you which way to turn things, and not all the items had the sticker id, and even trying to be careful I had to remove 2 pieces and flip them over. That said, generally cheap things have bad boring of holes, which I expect. This one had precisely one hole that wasn't a perfect fit. And although there are nine billion screws and pieces, it really was not hard to assemble and it fits nicely where I needed it. I didn't read carefully and was dismayed to see the bottom rolls out, but it actually is very neat and I like it. If you are tired of trying to find something to fit in tiny space or don't want to pay a fortune, this product will do the job. It allowed me to reclaim my bathroom counter neatly.

The unit fit in well with what she has and you'd never know it was so inexpensive. The unit arrived within 48 hours of being ordered and was in perfect condition. I am very pleased with the transaction!

Color is a bit darker than it appears in the photo. Looks very nice once it's assembled, however it does take quite a bit of time to assemble. The directions are pretty easy to follow but there are a lot of individual pieces. I didn't give it 5 stars simply because a few of the pieces didn't fit together quite like they should, but nothing seriously noticeable. Shipping was very fast.

This is a decent product. I have had good luck with this brand before. However, this time, I was rather disappointed in the printed assembly instructions. Also, out of almost 100 parts (NOT including screws) only 10% were actually MARKED. I find this unacceptable. When a company provides an item that must be assembled, they should provide clear, concise documentation, and clearly marked parts. I am a union craftsman, and have worked with my hands for the better part of 35 years, so I KNOW how to assemble things. I think that, given the impediments, that this assembly might be too difficult for a novice.

That being said, I really LIKE the finished product. There are some things that could have been done better, but all in all, it is a really nice and relatively well-made product. As stated above, I've purchased products from this manufacturer before and they always provide a nice, lower cost, alternative to real wood products.

I bought from a different page on Amazon (I'm sure you've seen them all), but it is an identical product. The casters on this thing are terrible. The rest of it is fine, but don't expect to move this around with your foot. You'll have to pick it up to move it. Another problem is that once you put it together, it can't be dismantled (pieces of metal have to be bent as you snap it together), making returns extremely difficult. You'll have to return the whole thing assembled, versus in two parts, and the box isn't big enough for that.

The instructions read: "Note: Once the product is assembled, it cannot be taken apart or returned."

The rack is fine. It rusts, though so watch out.

First, I must have been nuts to pay $12.99 S&H (it didn't cost close to that for the seller)...second, it rusts and that was unexpected since it's made to use in the bath. I am glad I didn't gift this. Choose another bath caddy, unless you like rust and throwing away money on s&h.

This is great because it adjustable. You can't place anything tto tal on it because it falls over. I used a wire basket to put on it to hold shampoo etc.

Also you should take it out once a week and pull it all the way out because water accumulates and it gets rusty.

All in all it works but I would never buy another one.

This sliding shelf holds quite a bit of household items. It's easy to install, very strongly made. I have purchased 3 of these useful units and all are excellent in quality. I have a similar shelf bought from a popular home DIY store and it's junky as compared to this product.

Shelf was very easy to install and has a neat professional appearance. It was well packaged to prevent any damage in shipment, and I would buy this shelf again. One other note: drawer slides are on the bottom of shelf and don't give the same degree of rigidity as slides that mount on side of drawer. Think of a hack saw blade: easy to push on the flat surface and make blade bend; if you push on edge of blade in will not bend. This means shelf sags a little when fully extended, and also that shelf cannot support as much weight as a unit with side mounted drawer slides.

However, as one of the other reviewers mentioned, screws/anchors to attach the brackets to the wall are not included, nor were there any installation instructions (although it's pretty straightforward). It is a nice depth, though, and has an uncluttered profile.

The shelf looks good and is sturdy. Only complaints are that the shelf arrived with a small chip in one corner (not that big of a deal, was able to put the chip in the back corner so no one will see it...but a little disappointing nonetheless.) Also there was no hardware included to mount the brackets to the wall. Two long screws with a low-profile head are needed and I think they should have been included.

SPANCraftGlass offered terrific customer service. I ordered a shelf for my second home and it took a number of months before I hung it. When I did the brackets were the wrong finish. I contacted the company and they sent me the correct ones. The shelf looks great!

Knape & Vogt 208 TI 550 Ultimate "L" Bracket Titanium 22"

I ordered 8 to put up a couple 8 ft. long, 2 ft. deep plywood shelves in the garage. They installed fine and appear to be consistent in quality and dimensions.

I installed them through sheet-rock into studs, and you'll need 3 lag bolts per bracket to install. I used 3 1/2 inch long, 5/16 inch lag screws. To affix the shelf to the bracket, I used 1 inch #8 machine screws and bolts that I countersunk flush with the plywood. You can use up to 3 screws per bracket to affix the shelf, but I only used two.

As some other reviewer mentioned, if you are concerned about the appearance, they are painted a gray-ish silver. Do not expect to get "shiny" stainless steel or aluminum type look that the picture indicates.

In the end...it's a shelf bracket! But I had no luck finding any this size at my local DIY store...Amazon to the rescue again!

They worked great for me but I did notice that they are not a perfect 90 degrees. I mounted them as advised with 3" 5/16 lag screws. I used two of them with a ¾" thick 22" X 24" plywood board and mounted my 80 pound air compressor on the garage wall.

These are heavy duty brackets. There is no give in them which I needed for a countertop installation. The only negative is the paint is a bit soft and marks easily.

I was looking for an inexpensive bracket that was large to put under a countertop that hangs off without a cabinet under it. everything I was finding was $150. this inexpensive bracket work perfectly and supports the countertop very solidly. it is a silvery colors so it's not very decorative but it also doesn't stick out so you don't see it. at least it solved my problem

This wasn't too tough to assemble. It arrived with some damage to the cardboard, but the excellent packaging keep the wood intact. I would recommend a helper during assembly. Expecially during the first few steps.

Once assembled, it looks like something you would pay 2x for. The adjustable shelves allow you to customize for your library and the bottom closed area allows you to store other items that you don't want to display or don't conform to the shelf settings.

This piece is fantastic. You will love this cabinet. I see a lot of complaints about assembly, but we assembled it just fine without problems. It does take time, so set aside some time to put it together. 3-4 hours max. Don't take shortcuts, take your time. You should appreciate that. It's not a crappy piece like from IKEA or Ashley. Once put together it will be a very good piece in your home. The quality of the wood is nice! The finish is perfect. It's not low density fiberwood like IKEA or Ashley, its a thick fiberwood with a wood finish. Trust me, you will like this.

Stainless Steel Wall Shelf - 6 Inches Deep: 24"L

My old stove had a flat top at the back where I kept my salt and pepper shakers, etc. The new one is curved so I wanted a shelf between the top of the stove and the stove hood. This worked out great. It was easy to install and it is easy to clean. It is not so large as to get in the way of cooking. It is drop shipped from the manufacturer, Infra Corporation of Waterford Michigan, so it takes a little longer to come. I looked at the 30 inch shelf but it was way more expensive -don't know why that is.

the shelf was dented when received! I was able to pound out the dent and its hardly visible but still was not happy that they would send me a used or damaged product when i did not purchase it used or damaged! Rich

very nicely designed and they look great. however, they are a very light gauge SS (noted in the description) so they will bend and dent easily. personally, I think this item is ridiculously overpriced. if i picked it up in a restaurant supply store, i would expect to pay less than half of what they cost here.

This was such a pleasure; we had bought two of them, for over our toilet space savers/cabinets in each bathroom. (Replacing other kind we had)Putting stuff like this together is never something to look forward to. It was a pleasant surprise when we (we means hubby!) took it out and everything was so simple. This was one of the very few (actually only ones I could find) that didn't have the bottom bar across it our toilet tank has pipes/coils coming out the back and there is no way to put any of those kind over our toilet unless we just broke it. What was very helpful is that the parts bags are numbered & lettered, so very easy to make sure you are putting the right screws where they need to be. They look really classy; I might anchor it a little more, but they do provide an anchor strap that is sufficient. And, as the first reviewer commented, I'm a happy wife now, which is of course the most important!

This cabinet was exactly what was discrible and I received it in two days with Prime. Assembled and put into location in the bathroom, Done! Looks nice, easy to assemble and most importantly, wife is happy!!

We put this together and it looks really nice. I only have two gripes:

1) For a wood piece of furniture it shows every finger print on it's doors. I spend a lot of time cleaning it and it's just annoying noone wants fingerprints in the bathroom.

2) Its not very stable. When you open the doors it wibble wobbles around on it's four little legs. Maybe if it had more substantial feet it wouldn't do this but I'm not a designer..

Definitely does the job, but I'm not in love with it.

Looks good but very unstable. The legs are too thin, something I did not think about before purchasing. Also after couple months or so, one of the doors fell off. It appears the screws are too short to hold the door in place and in additions, the hinges were too tight. It caused wood around the screws to chip. To remedy the problem, I oiled the hinges with cooking oil to loosen the tension, and bought four longer screws (two additional for other door too) to hold the door in place better. The new screws ended up going through the other side but at least the doors are holding it's place for now.

I regret spending almost $200 dollars for this product, when I could have spend much less that is more durable and better built. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

We just moved into an older home that has old fashioned small closets. These are perfect to add extra storage space above for folded clothes and also below for shoe storage. I did this with all of the bedroom closets and they look fantastic. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to maximize their space.

I placed a half gallon of milk in the middle of the shelf and it bowed down about an inch where the milk was placed and the side legs went out 1 inch on each side. Looks sturdy in picture but very weak. Would be OK to hold clothing or cracker boxes in a pantry.

I have these shelves in the smaller size and they are very sturdy. But, the extra length and width result in the shelves' being flimsy. The larger size needs to be made of a stronger material so that the shelves don't sag in the middle under the weight of items placed on them.

End Table With Frosted Glass

I bought this end table to match the hall table of the same design and after having trouble with the cams (two missing) with the hall table I was hoping for better luck with the end table. The cams worked fine but one of the frosted glass would not fit as it was a bit to long but not much but still couldn't get it into either of the places for it no matter how I turned it. I called the company and they said they would replace it but had to send the forms in which by the time I got the glass back it would be about 3 weeks. I got the idea that just maybe the glass in the hall table might be the same size and maybe by switching them around something would fit. I took one out of the hall table and put it in the end table and it fit perfectly and then took the one from the end table that was a tad to long and put it in the hall table and it went in OK so I solved my own problem by playing musical glass. So it worked for me but if I hadn't had the hall table things would have been different and I would be waiting for three weeks to get a piece that fit. All in all a nice table but for the little problems that shouldn't happen.

I did end up having to exchange one of the two end tables as there were way too many defects to keep it. The big issue I have had with these tables is that the bottom shelf doesn't line up so that it is plush with every leg. No one but me would notice, but it is annoying. Otherwise I love them and have had many compliments. Great buy for the price in my opinion. It's something you could purchase at a box furniture store, but with a cheaper price tag.

It came with a little dent, went to together in about 10 min. but i would not recommend, the glass feels like it will break when you put anything on it. The coffee table itself just doesn't seem well made. The legs and frame don't line up perfectly so there are gaps where the legs are attached to the table. I will not purchase from this furniture company again.

We bought this item despite some of the very negative reviews since we are very handy, and have assembled dozens and dozens of these types of pieces before no surprises here. This is a pretty standard piece of furniture, and so long as you have a decent ability to assemble furniture, you can assemble this in 10 minutes, without a hitch. We love the table and couldn't be happier.

I bought this table because I purchased the coffee table for my new apartment. It isn't all solid wood, there is some mdf involved but it went together in under ten minutes, looks fantastic and was an unbeatable price. I had planned to order several of these and use them in the pantry, in the bathroom, in my hobby room, etc. I decided to order one and see if I really liked it. Now that I have one in my hand, I am not quite sure if I want more or not.

It is well built and sturdy. It is nice Rubbermaid quality. No issues there at all.

The issue I have is it seems a little too small for $23. It doesn't really hold much. I realize it was meant for pantry use, so the wire basket is too open for small items which is a bummer for me. Since it is small it would be better suited to holding a bunch of small loose items, but they fall thru the basket. So you have to use it for larger items. For example in my media/hobby room I have several remotes that are always in my way. I could fit 4-6 average sized remotes in the basket. Not bad, it is just that if you have a lot of clutter to put away, you will need several of these and a place to hang them. 4 of these comes to $100 or so. I think there may be better storage options for $100.

In summation, I do not regret buying one of these, but I do not know if I need more of them. If they were cheaper, I would definitely buy a couple more.

UPDATE:

I have decided to not buy any more of these. I have not found a good use for it. It will only hold one large can of soup (Campbell's Chunky). It holds about 12 small jars of baby food. It just isn't that useful. It should either be about $12 or about twice as big.

I am interested in ordering this product. I usually order whatever I need from Amazon.com when possible, however, this undershelf storage bin is only $13.94 on Rubbermaid.com so I will order the storage bin from them. As one Amazon customer wrote, the product is nice, but should have cost less. It does, elsewhere. I'm disappointed in Amazon.com this time.

Bought this item for a relative in a nursing home. He was always leaving items (glasses, TV remote, cards) on top of his hospital tray table and when his food was cleared off, many times the aides inadvertently took his personal items also. First I must admit, this was a gift and I didn't have the pleasure of building it myself. Those tasked with this said it 'wasn't bad' and took a couple of hours and a six pack of beer. There were no problems with hardware, pre drilled holes, etc... When I visited the person who built this I was happily amazed at the look and the feel and the overall quality. It looks like a piece of 'real' furniture and not a particle board fake piece of junk. It has a veneer that looks great and feels like an expensive piece of furniture. I cannot comment on the long term durability of the materials but can guess that if you don't move it much or move it correctly (NOT DRAGGING) it.. it should last you for years. As with all RTA furniture you must be careful during moves or rearranging since this can and will weaken it at connection points. If you don't want to worry about that you'll have to lay down hundreds more for something similar. Overall, a good product, good price and nice addition to your home.

This is real wood veneer, not plastic wrapping that looks like wood that you find on similarly-priced items. Very solid, heavy, and looks like a quality piece of furniture. Only issue is the drawers are not the most heavy duty. Other than that very happy with it.

We ordered this as a replacement for an open glass-shelf TV stand as a way to get cords managed and hidden from little fingers (and not to have sharp glass shelves either.) We also needed a stand that would accommodate a DVD player with a large footprint and it fits just perfectly into the open shelf (it is about 18" square); our cable box and a center speaker fit into the other shelf. Our TV is 42" and there is room enough on either side for side speakers and the wii is tucked behind one. We have put a lot of the speaker wires and other cables/wires into the drawers (which we are planning on putting child locks on) and it is so nice to have them tucked away! Overall I am quite pleased with it. I think it looks better in person than in the picture. A review on another website mentioned it not being sturdy and the reviewer had reinforced it with wood glue; we did not find that we needed to do this. It is plenty sturdy for us and the directions for assembly were easy to follow. We were also happy with the price, as it seems silly to spend a lot of money on technology housing when the technology changes so often (e.g. giant TV armoires of the 90s.) Is it the most solid, high quality stand you could buy? No. But, if you need a TV stand that is deep enough for an older (5 years old haha!) flat screen TV with a trapezoidal footprint and/or to house larger accessories and hide wires AND looks nice at a good price, this is your stand.

Purchased this for my new 50" TV. Easy to out together, took about an hour, and looks really great. Does NOT look like a piece of furniture that cost less than $200. and had to be assembled! Fits in well with my mid-century modern furniture. Very happy I didn't go with something premade from a furniture store for 3 times the cost.

for the price, you can't beat this piece. The piece is solid and looks very nice, the only complaint I have is that it is pretty low to the ground and wish it was a bit taller. Other than that, it is a great buy.
