Not only do these work for the hooks that usually goo with them, but I have used them for other items that failed to stick, but needed to not be permanent or a hook. We rent and holes in walls are an issue. I use these to apply wireless switches to walls, small mirrors near desks, file holders by desk and so forth.

I bought 2 for my new bathroom. I installed them myself (husband not included or needed). They are just perfect for the space. I was a little afraid that the hooks would overwhelm the beauty of the glass, but they don't at all, and I believe the hooks provide the stability. I have 3 potted African violets on one and I am sure the shelf could hold twice the weight of the plants they are so sturdy. I am very glad I chose these shelves.

This little shelf burns through batteries in several hours. I intended it to be used around the clock as a nightlight and display stand in my child's room...didn't even last the evening.

This is similar to those stick-on closet push lights and I never had much luck with those. If you plan on keeping it lit, you'll spend a bundle on batteries they only lasted for a couple of days. Basically, it's the same as the push light only in the form of a shelf.

Premium Contact Paper Liner Color: Granite Sand

I have seen contact paper on tv that looked like granite, but it must have been a different brand. This just looks like colored paper.

Bought this to cover the top and base shelf on a decorative hutch. Very pretty, easy to apply and cut. Stuck fine to the flat surface, but even after looking up pro instructions about how to cut the overlap so it would fit over the edges of the shelf without peeling or looking crumpled, I found it barely stuck and tends to peel up, especially when humid.

I ended up gluing down the edges and it looks nice.

Peerless AVL A/V Component Rack System, LARGE/00-00 (Black)

I had seriously considered buying a Middle Atlantic rack for my in cabinet home theater equipment when this item caught my eye. It had all the features that I was looking for and cost quite a bit less than the similarly configured Middle Atlantic or other brands. I had good experience with other Peerless products in the past so I decided to try it out.

The delivery company (CEVA) did a good job of notifying me both when the cabinet arrived in their facility, when it was ready for delivery and even arranged for a Saturday home delivery. Very convenient.

Then it all went wrong...

While the driver called and arrived at the scheduled time (actually a little early) and the two guys proceeded to unload the box. First thing that I noticed was that the box was upside down in the truck and there was a gash in the cardboard. On further inspection we saw that the cover of the box was loose from the main carton. Next the scheduled weight of the box was supposed to be 166lbs. This is a large overstatement. One guy could easily move it and I was later able to pickup the unit to place it in my cabinet. I would say under 100lbs.

We removed the outside box in the truck and the rack it self appeared to be OK so I signed it off. The guys actually brought the rack down the stairs and into my house which was good.

I started to remove the accessory boxes and that is when I noticed that there was a pretty serious dent in the front right vertical support rail and a few paint scratches. It would appear that the box was removed at some point and placed back on but rotated so that when I looked where the gash in the cardboard box was, no damage appeared. In hindsight I should have inspected closer, but I was anxious to begin the long process of installing the cabinet and equipment as this was the day before Super Bowl and I wanted it done. One of the screws on the top corners had also been stripped out and was gone. I tried to replace with a screw that I had but it appears to be a metric thread.

I was more than a little surprised that there were no instructions of any sort in the packing. While assembly is very straightforward this was a surprise. Similarly there were no assembly instructions on the Peerless website, just a 3D drawing which was all that I needed, but some will find this confusing.

The cabinet itself is as described. It is well made and adequate for all the equipment that I wanted to install. The handles are robust and seriously impressive but the rack would not fit in cabinet with the handles installed. The depth dimensions that are provided on AMZN and Peerless do not account for this.

I am not unhappy with the product but very unhappy with the conditions under which it arrived at my doorstep. IF I wasn't under a crunch to get it installed I would have called and returned it, but didn't

This product is great! I ordered it but it didn't come on time. For some reason the delivery company didn't load it. When I got it, the packaging was good. It's sturdy and looks nice. It has grills to go on the front but I only used two of them because the grills covered my components.

First off, the product itself is nice. Sturdy construction, nice finish, looks nice. The only reasons I'm not giving it five stars is that it came delivered with a dent on the base (fortunately its on the back) and with as big as this is I'm not going through the trouble of returning it. Another reviewer had mentioned the lack of directions; it is fairly intuitive to put together, but would it really be too hard to insert a sheet of paper indicating what each part is for?

The rack is as solid as it looks. The reason I have given the rating is that while the rack came assembled other than the casters, the assembly was really poor. On the top of the rack two of the four screws securing the top to the frame were not screwed in properly. They are severely crooked and stick up more than a quarter inch. I cannot unscrew them to try to instal them properly . They are screwed in so tight that I am concerned that I will strip the top of the screw. Because of this the top is loose.

The provided equipment cord brackets are almost impossible to install.

Premier Steel Wall Pot Rack

We've been working on our kitchen since we moved into our new place, and even though I've increased the size of my kitchen substantially, I find that I never have enough room. Clearly, getting the pots out of the cabinetry was key, but with the layout of the room, there aren't a whole lot of options. Finally, I found this pot rack, and it's exactly what I'd been looking for. Unlike other wall-mounted racks that we looked at, the mounts extend the rack 4" away from the wall, allowing me to hang smaller pots from the main rail without having them bang against the drywall. I was able to mount the rack within 1 1/2" from the ceiling and still add/remove the hooks easily, giving me the maximum amount of room and head clearance (note my wife and I are both above-average height, so this solution may not work for everyone). Mounting was easy you have to have wooden studs to mount this into the wall (4 carriage bolts finished to match included), and owners of older homes should be aware that lat-and-plaster finished homes are likely not going to be able to accommodate. Ceiling hooks are included, but I didn't see any use for them, given the way the wall mounts work (but they'll be nice for other work I'm doing). The biggest negative I see is that the hook count is a bit skimpy and additional hooks are a bit pricy, given the overall cost of the rack. But, I still give this rack a 5/5 it's sturdy, well-made, easy to mount, and I'm confident that I will get many years of use out of it.

Concept Housewares WR-40701 Metal Wine Bottle and Glass Wall Rack, Matte Black

Wine rack looks very nice, but has a few flaws. The instructions say to use a 1/4 drill bit to drill into the wall and place the anchors in those holes. However, the anchors are too small for a 1/4 inch hole and slide right through making the rack very unstable after placing the weight of the wine on it. Also, the brackets on mine were not shaped right causing the rack to not be level. On a good note, the description states it holds 21 wine glasses, but if you are using smaller glasses or champagne flutes, it can hold up to 28.

Looks wonderful and saves ton's of space! Very easy to install and very sturdy. It is a very classy looking product, I love it and would suggest it to anyone.

I'm not a fan of rod iron or wire products but I do like this piece a lot it's very elegant, strong and compact so if you're looking for an inexpensive compact space saving shelf you'll love it. After reading a few negative reviews on this shelf and seeing that it wasn't anything wrong with the shelf it was more the lack of experience to install it so I thought I would try to help also by adding a few pictures , one of the anchors best to use and you will never have to worry about anything breaking or falling that is short of an earthquake .

1. Easier with 2 people one to hold rack the other to level and mark holes.

2. Drill the 6 holes you marked with a 3/8 drill bit.

3 It's easier to do one side at a time because the shelf comes in 3 pieces, shelf and the 2 side braces.

4. Take a screw put it through the rod iron hole then screws your toggle on to that about a half inch.

5. After you did all three just close the spring ears insert one at a time (close towards shelf the nut side will go into hole first , once in ears will pop open then after all 3 are in use screwdriver just enough to take slack out. Put the other side on then tighten all.

6. Pop a cork pour a glass CHEERS!

Product is sturdy, but poor manufacturing. The spaces that hold the glasses are not the same size. Several of them were to tight to even get the glass through the opening. Also, the screws sent with it are small and would recommend getting something stronger if affixing to drywall.

I have placed this rack above my bar and it has served me well. The style and availability to place bottles on top was a great idea. This rack can hold all types of glasses and stores them up out of the way, but you can reach them so easily, and they are right there when you need them. The only drawback is the screws are a little hard to get in due to the side rails being in the way. But all in all, a great glass and bottle rack.

I purchased this corner shelf for my kitchen where I wanted to place a book shelf type stereo system. Installation took about 1/2 hour and the fit and finish is outstanding. People look at the shelf and wonder how it is even attached to the wall. Very nice. It holds the stereo system perfectly. Highly recommended.

One comment on installation: The shelf comes with mounting hardware consisting of standard wall anchors and screws. I high recommend picking up some of those white, self tapping style wall anchors available at Home Depot or Lowes. This is the type of anchor that is pointed at the end and is formed with molded screw threads all around. Each one holds 50lbs and all you do is place it where you want it and use a screwdriver to drive it into the wall. You then drive the screw that comes with it into the hollow part of the anchor...no drilling necessary. With 10 of these along each wall hold the shelf bracket you can be sure it will never pull out of the drywall.

This shelving unit was simple to install. If you don't understand the written directions it also has a video for you to follow. We bought this shelf to use for the components in our bedroom and needed a shelf that would fit in the corner. I have to say we are very pleased that both the DVD player and cable box fit on the shelf (stacked on top of each other) and there is still some room to spare. Great product and I would buy this again.

I purchased this unit to hold my cable box under my cheetah articulating wall mount for my new LCD TV. First I ordered the 16" shelf and it was too small. My fault I didn't read the modular shelf requirements. I added the modular shelf and together they are perfect for my DVR and Cablebox. Nice clean look. The only real issues I had were with the packaging of the shelf. It had some dents and chips in it. It could be protected better.Since it is white, I was able to touch it up. But for the price it should be recieved in first class condition. The mounting is an interesting design that is a bit difficult doing alone. Another set of hands might help. Once installed it looked great and seems very sturdy.
