It is cheaply made not as nice as the photo on Amazon, you definitely get what you paid for. My Island came with distorted parts with paint chips on the wood. Unless you are planning on putting it against a wall, I would not recommend to use as an Island since the back is horrible with screws & wood imperfections clearly visible. I actually had to cover the back with matching sheet metal to cover the imperfections of the wood and the screws. Keep in mind the dimension includes the length of the paper towel bar. Therefore, the actual work surface of the top is only 37 inches. I would not buy this Island again even at half the price what I paid for on Amazon. I never write reviews but I felt I had to share my unhappiness.

I thought this cart looked really nice, but when I got it and it took my brother hours to put it together it wasn't as nice as I thought it was. The stainlesss steel top had some dents in it and the top drawer need to be on gliders. The color is nice, but would not buy again.

Be warned this cart is the worst product I have bought to date. To begin with, color is a weird kinda solid plastic looking brown not actual Espresso wood grain color. Such poor construction I had to glue entire cart together with gorilla glue to add stability, and no parts fit correctly. One of the vital pieces was completely wrong and had to be modified to get it to work. I bought a small cart, from another company, also that is 10 times better in both construction, quality, and looks for about the same price. Apply your $200 to something nicer, because you will eventually give up and throw this away as it is just ugly and very cheap looking!!! I would have saved myself much time and heartache if I would have just set the money on fire!!! If a picture tells a 1000 words then this picture is 1000 lies, because it doesnt come anywhere close to the photo in person!!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED, DO NOT BUY THIS CART PERIOD YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!!!!!!!!!

It does take about 2 hours to put together but sooooooo worth it! You need2 people but only for 5 minutes! Battery operated screwdriver helps! It may just have been bad luck on our part, but this cart was a lemon. It arrived quickly from the vendor, but was scratched (possibly in transit). I had bought it for my daughter, who decided she could live with the scratch, but then found that it didn't fit together properly when she tried to assemble it. I will say that the company made good on it immediately, so there is no complaint about the customer service -just that the product was not a good investment.

We have had our cabinet for well over a year and have had no complaints so far. Other reviews have lamented broken doors and weak hinges, and buyers should really take those reviews into consideration, but it hasn't happened here. However, our cabinet endures only the lightest use. We bought this cabinet to serve as a small liquor cabinet/bar area in our master suite. We wanted something that closed up out of the way and didn't draw attention to itself, something inexpensive yet functional, and something we could reuse for another purpose later. This fit the bill. We installed wine glass racks inside for the upper space, and store liquor bottles in the lower space. (We only used one shelf.) We placed marble tiles on top and our wine sits well on top. Small hooks on the inside and doors for bar accessories, and this has turned into a very small, very practical piece.

However, we don't open or use this cabinet every day. Not even close. If you plan to use this cabinet for daily use, the less-glowing reviews that reveal the hinge flaws are more appropriate. If you plan to use the cabinet for storage, but not daily opening (like us), this review might be more appropriate.

The rest of the Closetmaid line may be OK, but the cabinets have doors. The particle board on these doors is not strong enough to hold up with the pin hinge that is inserted. Within one month of use, two of my three cabinets had doors that literally fell off due to the particle board breaking off at the lower outside corner, therefore no longer being able to hold it's pin hinge. I might try to install home depot door hinges on them to repair them.

This cabinet has a really low price, which is nice. But it is really poorly made. It is the cheapest fiberboard. It does look nice in the picture. But I think that you will not be at all happy when you actually get the unit. I bought two of these, and one arrived with a panel cracked.

I've had this for a day so I can't tell much about durability. But I figure if I use it with care and not rough it will be fine. Easy to assemble.

Rubbermaid Configurations 3-to-6-Foot Deluxe Custom Closet Kit

I bought this, but it sat in a box for over 4 months because I was scared of the setup. A friend finally forced me into just doing it, and it took less than an hour for the whole deal. It was so quick that I can't believe I let it sit in a box.

A level (the tube with the bubble) proved very useful.

Anyway, it's sturdy, set up so easily, and I love the bars that let you slide hangers all the way across.

It's also nice looking. If you don't need a formal look, you could isntall this directly on an exposed wall for a sort-of utilitarian look. That's actually what I did, and as long as the clothing is neatly hung, it actually looks great.

No complaints whatsoever.

Please be forewarned, that if you have any thought of possibly using some of the accessories for this system, you MUST set your uprights at the prescribed 22 inches apart.

Also, please note that if your space is not 6 feet wide, and you go with 22 inches between the uprights, you'll end up with a section that could be very, very, narrow and unusable for shelving.

I installed this into a closet to replace a ClosetMaid single shelf closet system. The space was about 5 feet wide. I do not have any intention of using the accessories that require the 22 inch width (basket, shoe rack, pants rack, etc). My first lay out following the directions clearly. I ended up with a space that was about 6 inches wide. So, I reconfigured the uprights and have about 15.5 inches between them. Works well, and doesn't look silly.

The directions are clear. The materials are solid. The anchors they supply are not what you're used to; a cross between a traditional plastic anchor and a molly. They seem to work fine.

Definitely like the system, and intend to purchase the 4-8 foot deluxe system for another closet upgrade.

I have personally installed three of these on my own. It is great for that reason. Also, you can get extra shelves (shoe shelves, for instance) to configure it your own way. For a reorganization project, making your closet more useful and user friendly is tops. This set is perfect for that, and doesn't break your wallet to do so.

I read the reviews about the cheapness, the difficulty assembling, and the parts not fitting together but bought this anyway as it was the design and size that I wanted. I'm glad I did as I did not find any of those to be the case. It took about half an hour to assemble, but it was not hard. It is not top quality, but it is not top dollar either. The only downside for me is that the white is very dingy it's not the picture. It seems just a smidge grayish. Still worth it because nothing else I found fit in the space I needed with a door opening in this direction.

It would not fit together because the pieces weren't cut properly. Grooves on the back were crooked and the top wouldn't fit on, which makes the rest of it not fit together.

Don't waste your money. You know when it's really bad when the vendor doesn't even want you to return it, and gives you a full refund to boot. Just saved them a trip to the dump, I guess.

I purchased this corner shelf for my kitchen where I wanted to place a book shelf type stereo system. Installation took about 1/2 hour and the fit and finish is outstanding. People look at the shelf and wonder how it is even attached to the wall. Very nice. It holds the stereo system perfectly. Highly recommended.

One comment on installation: The shelf comes with mounting hardware consisting of standard wall anchors and screws. I high recommend picking up some of those white, self tapping style wall anchors available at Home Depot or Lowes. This is the type of anchor that is pointed at the end and is formed with molded screw threads all around. Each one holds 50lbs and all you do is place it where you want it and use a screwdriver to drive it into the wall. You then drive the screw that comes with it into the hollow part of the anchor...no drilling necessary. With 10 of these along each wall hold the shelf bracket you can be sure it will never pull out of the drywall.

This shelving unit was simple to install. If you don't understand the written directions it also has a video for you to follow. We bought this shelf to use for the components in our bedroom and needed a shelf that would fit in the corner. I have to say we are very pleased that both the DVD player and cable box fit on the shelf (stacked on top of each other) and there is still some room to spare. Great product and I would buy this again.

I purchased this unit to hold my cable box under my cheetah articulating wall mount for my new LCD TV. First I ordered the 16" shelf and it was too small. My fault I didn't read the modular shelf requirements. I added the modular shelf and together they are perfect for my DVR and Cablebox. Nice clean look. The only real issues I had were with the packaging of the shelf. It had some dents and chips in it. It could be protected better.Since it is white, I was able to touch it up. But for the price it should be recieved in first class condition. The mounting is an interesting design that is a bit difficult doing alone. Another set of hands might help. Once installed it looked great and seems very sturdy.

This organizer is the perfect size for all my daughter's books and odds and ends. I had low expectations for quality since I have bought this company's items before, and this product did not dissappoint. But I knew what I was getting and for the price I am content. If your looking for top notch quality stay away from this product, but if you are looking for cheap and moderately attractive storage then this product will meet your needs. It is a snap to assymble and is sturdy enough, although I wouldn't let a 30 lb. child sit on it. As I said I am content(it saved me from building one from scratch), and my wife is more than pleased.

I recently came to the conclusion that I have too much stuff! Now I am organized!! These cabinets look great, holds lots of stuff and were easy to put together after the first one. I kept forgetting to put the laminate side of each piece facing up, it took half an hour. The second piece took 15 minutes (again I got one piece upside down)and the third one I did in 7 minutes! I am very happy with my purchase and I would recommend these pieces to everyone. They even look nice in the closet.

Floating U Shelf (Set of 3)

I ordered these shelves for our store to store coffee mugs, etc. Since the coffee area is in view of customers I wanted something a little jazzier than the usual shelf system and that's exactly what these are! They are sturdy and functional easy to mount (be sure to use a level so both ends are even!), and I love that you can arrange them however you want. We had a limited space but were still able to arrange the shelves so that they look really snappy. I am very impressed, would definitely buy these again!

These are very nice and look very good mounted. I gave it 4 stars because the hardware that it comes with is junk. Plan on using your own anchors and screws.
