Was looking for a narrow closet for storage for the laundry room. I got 2 of these and stacked them and they were perfect. I had a contractor give me an estimate of $525 for a similar product ha. These were just the right size and height.

The product was shipped without a back even though there didn't seem to be any room in the box to put it. I got two sides and the door as well as the top, bottom and two shelves. The unit was shipped from the US to an APO box and there was nothing I could do anymore. So basically I paid money for a defective unit I couldn't effectively use.

Audio Rack in Glass and Aluminum Finish RTA AVM-005

The image of this rack looks good and the actual rack looks good from a distance.

Contrary to appearances, there are only 4 pieces that are solid aluminum. These are the 4 caps that are on the top shelf. The surface that contacts the top shelf are not finished, exibiting the rough saw cuts that came from dividing up the original aluminum rod stock. The perimeter edges are sharp as they were not beveled. Although turned to produce a finish, one can easily see several blemishes that must have come from poor handling during the manufacturing or packaging phases.

The legs are thin aluminum with plastic end-caps that hold metal insert nuts to accommodate the assembly. They too are blemished. The plastic end-caps appear to be the type of plastic that gets brittle and then breaks as it ages.

The glass shelving is thick and beveled, which is good to see. However, at least one sheet was gouged on its surface.

The legs, back-plate, top and bottom shelves are attached with bolts while the 3 other shelves are only attached at their fronts, resting on pegs at their rear. This has to be considered as the unit is moved into position, since the 3 middles shelves are only worthy of supporting a downward pressure, not sideways nudging or upward lifting.

Finally, the 14 bolts that hold the unit together pass through holes in the glass sheets. There are no guards to keep the metal of the bolts from contacting the glass, which might lead to the glass cracking. The review of another similar unit reported that the alignment of the legs was poor, and since the holes in the glass for the front legs are much larger than the bolts, one can see how the legs have a wide range of locations during assembly that detract from the finished unit. I put a couple wraps of black electric tape on the 4 rear bolts to prevent contact with the glass, and cut 1/4 inch segments of Tygon tubing to go into the 10 front holes to better control the alignment as well as to protect the glass from contacting the bolts.

Overall, the unit looks good if one squints. But with eyes wide open, you could do better.

Looks great in out living room -matches our TV stand. We are very pleased with it.

Montego 3 Tier Bookcase - Espresso

When this did finally show up delivery may have been free but it certainly wasn't quick (2 weeks) it was in great condition with only a few minor imperfections in the wood. It set up easily (30 minutes at most) with the tool and felt solid enough given the amount of wood used to brace it. The end pieces were of particular concern to me as I have seen this style before where the X was unstable/rickety not so here so that was nice.

Color is what I wanted but I'm not overly picky. I ordered dark it's dark.

One minor gripe it's not level. I measured the end pieces and one foot is barely 1/16th" shorter. A folded up index card took care of it but still is worthy of noting.

I absolutely love the outer smoked edge of the mirror along with it being beveled. Not difficult at all to install though it was my first time -taught me to have some shims on hand if I ever install another bathroom cabinet. Got it for a very good price at the time too. Unfortunately, I left it behind (in rental unit) b/c I did not want to deal with finding another cabinet same size to fit the hole in the wall.

This cabinet, which we bought along with the Kichler Lighting 6162OZ Structures 2-Light Halogen Wall Mount Bath Strip, Olde Bronze with Light Umber Glass (Tools & Home Improvement), makes for a very fine look in our bathroom.

Highly recommend this product.

The gray touch to the outside border mirror really makes this cabinet look great. The interior is spacious enough, and installing is a breeze. I considered downgrading because the original packaging did not include some of the accessories (shelves, etc), but I contacted Braun-Nutone and they sent those things right out to me. Hopefully, that problem was just a random occurrence.

Elegant Home Fashions Dawson Floor Cabinet With Single Door, White

This is a nice little cabinet and fits the small space in the bathroom where it is placed. It was easy to put together, but the glass in the door was broken when we got it even though it was packaged well. Haven't yet contacted Amazon about a replacement glass and will update review after I do.

We have a fair amount of Sauder furniture, and are generally happy with it.

This is the next step up. It assembles in almost exactly the same way, with similar hardware of slightly higher quality.

The wood is the real difference. It looks and feels more solid, and the back pieces are far more substantial. Sauder gives you a thin sheet and nails. This has a thin board with pre-drilled screws.

We will be looking to this brand when we need new bookshelves and stuff in the future.

We intended on using it for behind the couch but it made it into the dining room as a buffet. Worth the price.

We looked for a long time for a taller entertainment center that had doors and this one looked like it would be great! With a toddler it helps to keep her away from the tv and unable to access our DVD player, etc. My only complaint is that it took us a whole night to put it together. The instructions are good and easy to understand, it just takes a while. The only really frustrating part was screwing all of the little holders for the glass in place. They use tiny screws and the holes aren't really predrilled and it has to be done by hand with a tiny screwdriver. It took forever and my husband has a blister on his hand for the next week so I would just be prepared for that. Overall we are happy with the product and would reccommend it.

This table came in many pieces, but they were wrapped very well and not one thing was damaged. All pieces were included not one thing was missing. It took a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time to assemble at least two hours, but for the price it was so worth it. It is an absolutely beautiful piece of furniture. I love the size and the quality is better than I expected. I had waited over a week to order this as I was afraid the quality would be poor or that it would arrive damaged. Neither were the case. We do not use it as a TV stand, but more of a sofa type console just against the wall. But it would be beautiful no matter where you put it. As much as it would be an inconvenience to have Amazon pick it up and send another one if it arrived damaged, I would not allow that to deter you. For what you pay, it is a really nice looking and sturdy piece of furniture. And for the people who hate to assemble furniture, this does take awhile! But think of it as sweat equity.

Lots of pieces! But gorgeous piece. Well worth the cost. It looks like an expensive piece. I bought 3 covered baskets from pier one that fit underneath perfectly. They're called Carson Water Hyacinth Box with Lid$25.00

They look like they were custom made for this piece.

However you do need alot of patience putting this together but so worth it! The legs do need you put those button things that go under chair legs. They don't come with it.

With the baskets and doors and drawers tons of storage. Inside door measurement is about 18". I couldn't find that info anywhere. You won't be disappointed with this.

Guidecraft 3 - shelf Bookcase

When I bought this but still hadn't received it I sent an e-mail to Guidecraft asking about the use of formaldehyde and off-gassing in this bookcase. This was their response:

"All Plywood have a small percent of formaldehyde in them, I have never had any complaints on this item for off-gassing. It does pass all ASTM F963 Safety standards. I hope this helps."

We recently received the box and it sat unopened in our living room for two weeks until my husband had an opportunity to put this together. We finally did this past weekend and it STANK! My husband was surprised I ordered this and I was surprised this smelled so awful based on the response I received. We plan on leaving it outside in the living room with the windows open during the day to allow it to stop smelling but am not sure when I will feel comfortable in putting this bookcase in my 2 1/2 year olds bedroom.

Otherwise, it's the perfect color, size, height and depth and nice looking as well.

I like how this shelf is hardwood (birch) plywood rather than laminate. I have another shelf by guidecraft so I took a chance and got this one even though there were no reviews. It's smooth and looks nice and is wonderfully affordable (I bought it on sale $108.45) compared to the price of solid wood bookcases. I expect it to be around in my house for a long time so I'm happy that I got something that looks good. Just a note, it says in the description that one shelf is adjustable, two fixed. I have no idea what they are talking about. They are all screwed in with no other options of where to put them. Considering I have wanted more shelving for years and I was happy with this (and it is still on sale) I have now ordered a second.

Honey-Can-Do 8-Shelf Hanging Organizer

I bought this hanging organizer as a quick fix to use in my nursery. I wanted to hang sheets, blankets and other random baby items in it. After receiving the item, I was a bit surprised at the material. This hanging shelf is made out of really cheap materials that feel like Nylon. I thought the fabric would be heavier duty to prevent sagging of the shelves. This item works fine for light items (such as the sheets), but I would not use this for anything that carries any amount of weight. I will keep and use this item, but I wouldn't buy again. I think you could find something comparable made with a heavier fabric at your local Target.

this was a good purchase to use empty spaces on closets. Keep in mind that the bootom of each shelf is not solid, it is made out of fabric.

I was a little hesitant to buy this online because I didn't get to feel the material or anything, but I am very pleased. It's got stiff board in the compartments and they don't sag all with a full load of folded tshirts in them. The length is great too, almost to the floor!

This product definitely has helped solve a storage and organization problems for us. I would have given it a better score except that it isn't great for wire closet shelves/rods. The way the velcro sits on the wire makes it lean backward or forward once you load it with stuff. It still works fine but it's a little annoying. The pockets are sturdy and will hold quite a bit. I use it for blankets, sheet sets, etc.

I literally still have half of this 8-shelf organizer not used yet. I have filled this so far, sparsely, with 6 pairs of jeans and 4 thin sweaters...the rest is empty.

I didnt notice because the closet is dark, but apparently the whole top of the thing ripped. it is dangling from the velcro hook parts, but the whole top of it is ripped open, hanging by what is still in tact.

This thing wasnt even full!!

The wood is much darker than pictures & it's stinks! I bought this for a nursery and frankly I wouldn't have my child sleep in the same room with these fumes. The whole room stinks of chemicals. This product is sold by an American company but the product was made in china.

The directions use letters to help assemble but the pieces aren't even labeled with the letters.

Cheap quality, noxious fumes and counter intuitive assembly instructions. Way over priced!

Terrible quality. The instructions were unclear and the wood was damaged and rough in certain areas. I would like my money back!

The instructions for these are not clear and it was a headache to put together. However; once it was together, it looked good. Some pieces were warped (DON"T GET ANY OF THE PIECES WET, IT'S PARTICLE BOARD) and made assembly difficult. The closet maid bins DO NOT fit in the openings. You are better off buying a different brand for just a little bit more money.

4D Concepts Hanging Corner Storage - Black

I absolutely love these shelves. It looks perfect in my room. It was simple to put together, I did struggle a little to get them on the wall by myself but it can be done. It is very sturdy once it is hung and seems to hold a good amount of weight.

My husband put this together and hung it up within one hour, and I'm pretty happy with it. It doesn't sit flush to one of our walls, BUT I'm pretty sure that it's a problem with our wall, not the product. I don't plan on putting anything heavy on this, but it adds a nice look to a normally boring, unused corner of our living room! I may just buy one of these for the landing of my stairwell!

Anyway, it was easy to assemble and although I was able to hang it myself, it sure would have been easier if I would have had someone to hold it in place while I marked the screw holes and attached to the wall.
