Industrial Empire Bookcase

This bookcase looks great behind my couch as a room divider between the front room and dining area. It is finished on both sides so it doesn't need to be used on a wall. The wheels, however, are stationary so it does not roll, which is fine with me. There are matching pieces of furniture, if you need them.

Furinno 11132 Easy Assembly 2-Tier Storage Shelf, Cherry

This is a small shelf. I originally planned to use it as a book shelf but it didn't work out that way. So I put it on one of my kitchen counter tops. It turns out to be very useful. It is now my coffee gadget shelf.

The packaging has a mess with little bits of styrofoam all over and it was missing 1 screw, but once I had it cleaned up and assembled, the quality of the bookcase is good. It is a little small but fit right where I wanted it.

The wooden pattern is not on both sides of every piece, and even then, the screw holes are awkwardly placed so that you get some visible portions with a wood patterns and some with just brown plastic. It will look really odd if you don't paint over it. I had planned to paint it black anyway (and it WILL need multiple coats), but I still found that a really odd design oversight.

Good for the price, sturdy and inexpensive, but it's really small. It can barely fit my textbooks in it, not recommended for school books.

Alera Narrow Profile Bookcase, Finished Back, Wood Veneer

I like this shelf a lot. It is a great buy. The bookcase is very sturdy and can support a whole bunch of books. It looks good too. I bought 2 of them. I was very happy with free shipping. The shelves were delivered to my apartment in 3 days after completion of my order. No missing or damaged parts. Very easy to assemble. I would buy another one like that and I would definitely recommend this product to others. If you look for something good and sturdy then it is for you. Each shelf can hold up to 90 lb.

I purchased two (2) of these narrow mahogany bookcases for my bathroom.

Yes, bathroom! They were very reasonable and instead of a cabinet on legs

surrounding the toilet, I came up with this idea. They are 12 x 12 and the

perfect size to fit in the space. The shelves are adjustable and the mahogany

color matches the rest of the bathroom cabinetry. I purchased beige canvas

boxes to store toiletries, cosmetics, hand towels, etc. which were inexpensive

at the dollar store and conceal perfectly. With the capability of 5 to 6 shelves

of storage, the alternate shelves are great for magazines and nick-nacs. I have

a fern plant at the very top of one and a pretty wicker basket on top of the other.

A long thin picture is on the space in between the two cabinets, right above the

toilet. It is now a very attractive area. I am very pleased with the quality

of the cabinets. The mahagony was exactly as advertised and the delivery service

to my door was excellent. I highly recommend this product!

This Elura bookcase came with the screw inserts missing in one side panel. Calling the 800 number resulted in a wishy washy response that she would email the company that I needed these parts with no idea how long it would take to get them. Since they were part of a bigger part, she was not even sure what they were. The bookecase cannot be assembled without them, and they were not responsive at all.

I've bought and assembled many of these kits, but have alsways had the parts available. Now it has to sit in the living room, half together, until someday the parts come.

Sturdy, looks good, and just the right size, but more of a dark walnut color than medium oak. I purchased 2 of them and they do not match the rest of my decor. The picture is very deceiving.

This is a very high quality bookcase for those that don't have the room for a traditional wide bookcase. It took 30 minutes to assemble and the finished product has no blemishes. Monkey Bar Storage MB002 Yard Tool Rack

I found the Monkey Bar Large Garden Tool Storage Rack to be everything the ad said it was. It was easy to install and took only a few minutes. I like the fact you can adjust each of the hooks to the configuration you need for the tools you want to hang. Another nice feature is it doesn't come any further out from the wall than 6". My lawn mower takes up more space than that. One last feature I like is it is very sturdy even though it is not that heavy. I would recommend the Monkey Bar Large Garden Tool Storage Rack to anybody needing to store several garden items.

I have fourteen items hanging from one of these and I could hang a couple more from the back if I bought extra hooks. You could hang more if you put hookeyes in the handles of tools with wooden handles and hung them right-side-up. You could also hang more items if you got some more of the really long hooks--they only send one with the kit.

It's well made, is quite sturdy--it hangs by four really long screws in predrilled holes in two studs--and looks good. The only thing I would quibble about is that it takes a while to get everything level and to drill the four holes with an electric drill before installing it. But it was easy enough. Just make sure you have the center of the stud. Mine are exposed so it was a no brainer (I heard that!). And the holes really do have to be drilled with a 3/16" drill. Any more and the attachment will lose strength. Any less and you will break your hand putting the screws in.

I've tried a lot of tool storage systems over the years and the Monkey Bar is the best thing I've seen to date. It's very simple but extremely versatile. I installed it in a matter of minutes and placed a dozen or so rakes, brooms, shovels, etc, on it. This rack was easy to install with just a level, a tape measure,and a drill. It has made a huge difference in organizing our garage. It's currently holding a gas edger, gas string trimmer, gas blower, 5-gallon and a 1-gallon gas cans, and an electric hedge trimmer. We still have hooks to spare. It was definitely worth the price we paid.

I am thrilled with this product. Assembly took a bit of time, but it was relatively easy, as the shipment included both written instructions and a nice DVD.

Creative Connectors Corp 29'Walornmantel Shelf 6700263 Shelving Decorative Wood

I spent a total of 4 months looking for wall mantel shelf between 27 and 29 inches long. When this one finally appeared on Amazon, I was beside myself. It wasn't hardwood, but the specifications were promising. The price at which it was offered, was icing on the cake. The previously stated facts, are why I didn't rate this product a TWO. Here are some of the disappointments and therefore a rating of 3:

1)Package was beautifully wrapped. However, the edges of of the shelf were somewhat delicate. I actually damaged both short edges (slight cracking), trying to pull the wrap off.

2)This is a double layer shelf. The underbottom layer on one side of the shelf was pulling apart. There appeared to be no glue on one end of the shelf. However the opposite end was well connected and sealed.

Considering length of time to find the desired type shelf and I am somewhat of of DIYer, I decided to finish the glue job and paint the shelf to cover the cracking finish of the edges. It looks pretty darn good... now.

Pros:

1)The hanging process is exactly as stated and quite easy.

2)The shelf feels and displays as very sturdy and elegant.

3)Extremely strong against wall. Tight fit.

I would purchase this again, only considering my skill set, patience, and desire of specfications of product. However if you don't have time for extended DIY or other surprises, consider wisely.

Shelves look great once installed. Much more solid than we thought they would be. One of the

wooden connectors was missing, so we cut one of the remaining ones in half, which seemed to work.

To assemble, simply place the supplied paper template on the wall, poke holes with a screw or whatever, then drill holes.

We purchased some wall anchors (about $2) for extra support, so we pushed those into the holes by hand,

then screwed in the connectors. At that point, all you do is slide the shelves onto the connectors.

Once you do it, you will be amazed at just how easy it is and will fly through a second instal if you purchase more than one.

We're happy with the unit. Would have given it 5 stars if it would have had the missing piece and if it would have included the

wall anchors.

I first ordered these from Amazon, and they all arrived damaged with chipped and cracked veneer. This was due to a poor packing job at the Amazon warehouse. The box arrived in terrible shape, and I had to return them. I liked the idea so much, I decided to try my luck again, and order from Stacks & Stacks (via Amazon). They actually packed them correctly at their warehouse, and they arrived undamaged. They were easy to assemble, and I really love that there are so many creative ways to arrange these. These shelves are really unique, and a great alternative to other hanging wall shelves. I wanted to display some larger collectibles, and most nic-nac shelves are only about 3 inches deep. Also, these can hold a lot of weight. Each smaller shelf piece is about 7x7 inches, which works great to display blown glass, pottery, collectible plates, picture frames, etc. My only advice, if you order these through the mail, is that you inspect them carefully for damage when they arrive.

This shelf is made of sturdy wood and came with a template to assist in hanging it on the wall. My husband loved that part as it took all the hard work out of mounting. The entire shelf would have been up on the wall in about 10 minutes but, unfortunately, we were missing a mounting bracket. Thankfully the company who makes the shelf was wonderful and sent us a new one without any issue. Would definitely recommend this shelf and/or any others this company makes.

This was an excellent solution to my storage problems. It was affixed to the wall next to my vanity. I didn't have room there for anything that would be set on the floor as it would block the register. This gives me plenty of room to set my stuff. I didn't install it myself, my husband did say it was hard to install, but it really looks great.

I didn't realized I would have to assemble the shelves myself plus the sauder "wood" had chips all over it. I had purchased it as part of a Christmas gift and ended up returning it all together.

This is a very sleek photo shelf. I looked around a lot and very few have such nice lines and come in sizes of 4 feet. It also has a groove in it for photo frames.

You have to be very careful with it as the paint job for the black one is minimal and you can easily mark it up.

Installation is easy enough, but you have to really get the mounting screws at the correct position so the shelf does not sag.
