These selves are great. They are easy to install, they arrived eariler than I expected and they look wonderful on my wall. They were everything I expected and more.

I bought 2 of these for the kitchen, less expensive than one more cabinet. They look great. I didn't install but I watched and decided I could have done it. There's a bar screwed to the wall with two prongs that go in holes in the shelf plus a couple other screws on the shelf itself. I would however like to know what weight each holds.

Shelf is an inexpensive alternative for display shelving it is sturdy for light weight display items, easy to install, and looks good no, you cannot climb on it . . . but it is exactly what I wanted and is a great buy for its intended purpose

I wish this was made just a bit better. Don't use the anchors they give you, they don't hold good and the shelf wobbles. But from a distance, it does look good!

The white paint applied to this shelf could be thickers. I cand see the underlaying material through the thin paint on this shelf.

Did not repaint as defect could not be seen mounted high up on wall.

This reasonably priced storage cabinet worked for me because of it's slim tall design. Exactly what I was looking for. It is also pretty easy to put together. That's the good news. The unit is heavy and when delivered, I found a couple minor blemishes caused by the shipping. I managed to hide them rather than return. My biggest complaint has to do with the finish. The underside of the shelves and top are not finished! Where I ended up placing the cabinet minimizes this oversight, but be cautious if you will display this more prominently.

I have three of the above items. Two store-bought, and one through Amazon.com. In all cases, the items come disassembled in heavy, somewhat awkward, cartons. However intimidating the cartons look, the items themselves are easily assembled following the step-by-step directions. I found all the pieces marked as stated in the assembly instructions and requiring little mechanical skill to assemble.

In short, I'm please with my purchases which proved to be rugged and tough after assembly, very sturdy, and stable on a level floor. I'd recommend the product to anyone.

This unit is manufactured in Canada, and came precision drilled with all necessary holes for assembly. Unfortunately, one piece (the left side) was damaged in transit. I got online as the instructions indicated, and had a replacement piece within a week. Assembly was straightforward. Finished unit is solid and holds lots of disks with various sized packaging.

One suggestion for Prepac. They should finish the bottom side of the top and the shelves. I painted the top in satin black where it wasn't finished, because you can see it is unfinished when sitting looking at the unit. I will subsequently similarly finish the bottom of the shelves.

I love this item so much and I am very happy that I purchased this item even though it wasn't what I had in mind.I was looking for a rack to hold my video games, but I also wanted it to look elegant and not cheaply made. This product is very well made and very beautiful, from the minute you walk into my living room you notice it. Best part is that it comes with interchangeable shelves that does not damage the design of the product. So you will be able to place what ever you like regardless the size and length.

I read many reviews on this item before purchasing it and i have to agree with some of the things that was said.

1. It is very heavy, and huge! Its taller then me and I am a 5'4 female.

2. I notice in the reviews that a lot of people claim some of the shelves was not fully covered with the black paint. So I was prepared for that to be one of the problems I will have to face, but to my surprised that issued never occurred. It was completely covered with fresh paint, it had no marks or any white spots as mentioned so I am assuming that they took into consideration what the other customers was complaining about.

3. The instructions was not as easy to understand as I had hoped but they made sure to remind you to check if you received all the pieces before proceeding to put it together and if any was missing they had given you a number to contact. I really liked how they was willing to be so helpful, but I am also glad that I didn't need to call them.

4. Now this was almost a deal breaker; I purchase this item thinking it was meant to hold video games like a DVD rack but I to my surprise it was more like a book case. After building it and seeing how wonderfully it compliments the rest of my furniture plus the fact that I was able to change the shelves to what ever size I needed so that my games and limited/special edition cases can fit perfectly is what convinced me to keep it.

5. Also it is build to last!!!

Besides that I honestly believe that this is an amazing product for that cheap price and once i get paid again i do plan on buying another one!

I would have given this 5 stars but Prepac company needs to have the bottoms finished on the shelves and on the top board! Did not take my husband long to build. It looks great! Fit perfectly where I wanted it go.

I decided to clean out the garage after being inspired by a friend who was doing the same. He ended up purchasing the Coleman series which is soo much nicer! The doors have actual hinges on them and they look better. I got the father's day special so for the money I can't complain. Except for the shipping. When I saw the box, I thought for sure these were smashed but they were just a little dented. Get ready to tap lightly with a soft hammer. The box says no tools, but don't believe it.Target had a lower price but I didn't want to pick them up. Target also carries the coleman. I'm saving you time and legwork. Spend 30% more and go with the coleman brand unless you have the money to go with Garage Tek look alikes. If I could do this again, I'd spend the 30% more.

Updated May 30, 2006 after owning for 2 years.

These are in my garage holding paint cans, auto cleaning supplies etc. I would not purchase these again and am looking for replacements. The sleves are now warped in the middle and smaller items fall or roll into the dip. If you are just storing rafts or lawn cushions you should be allright. If you have paint cans or heavier items, opt for metal shelving.

When I bought this cabinet I planned to use it outdoor to store my gardening tools and other stuffs like fertilizer and pesticide. Upon its arrival I discovered the unit wasn't exactly meant for outdoor use right out of the box.

The problem is that the cabinet top is not watertight. After one night of rain there was quite a bit of water inside the cabinet. After some trials and errors I ended up solving the problem by gluing (using silicon) a piece of corrugated vinyl roofing panel on top of the cabinet. This seems to work fines. The roofing panel costs about $7 each at Home Depot. You can cut the panel with a pair of scissors to the right size. Be sure to cut it a little bigger, about an inch or two on each side to give extra protection from heavy rains.

The other reviewer mentioned that the doors are not lined up. This can be fixed by putting shims under the four bottom corners of cabinet. You need to experiment with this. By putting shims under differ "legs" you'll notice the alignments of the doors change.

Another thing about this cabinet is the shelves inside have slots, meaning that if there is a spill on the top shelf the fluid will get the shelves below very quickly.

This cabinet does have some pros, however: reasonably priced, shelving included, good storage capacity, and able to hold heavy stuffs. Assembly was straight forward, although somewhat tedious.

This cabinet is OK if you are using it in your garage and have a perfectly flat floor. If I were to do it again I probably would spend another $60-$80 more and get a different unit.

I have owned three of these units for several years.

Two of them are in my unheated detached garage and one is in my basement.

I have used one for garden/lawn storage such a fertilizer, bug sprays, yard waste bags, plastic bags,

pails, tarps, extension cords, lawn sprinklers, coolers and assorted sports equipment for the grandkids.

The second one has been used for automotive related items such as our waterproof cartop carrier,

antifreeze, oil, windshield washer fluid, winter gloves, ice scrapers, snow brushes, well, you get my drift.

The third one is in the basement storing my Marine Corps gear and I have been very satisfied with it.

I have had absolutely no problem with using them in the garage or the basement.

They are in the same shape as when I received them.

Do keep in mind that these are not air-tight cabinets. If you need that type of storage unit look elsewhere.

Along with using the HyLoft 45-by-45-Inch Overhead Storage System #00540 my garage is MUCH MORE organized and I am MUCH LESS frustrated trying to find exactly what I need! I would recommend buying the cabinet for the uses as stated above. ~ The Boss

We ordered 2 of these for our basement. The second one went together much easier as we knew what we were doing. However, it took longer than the 15 minutes the directions said and also had to use a rubber mallet. The cabinets are perfect for basement storage. Would not want to use them outside, however, they are great for basement or garage storage. I plan on ordering another one. Holds lots of stuff behind closed doors!

Like another reviewer, my Rubbermaid #7083 cabinet arrived in a somewhat disheveled box (torn open in one spot), but the contents were OK. Assembly was easy--like several other reviewers, I too found that using a heavy rubber mallet was more essential than optional to fit the pieces together. Be prepared to clean out lots of disk-shaped pieces of plastic from the hollow of the panels (normal by-products of the manufacturing process), unless you're content to let those waste pieces rattle inside the panels. Of course, once you have the cabinet assembled and filled with whatever you fill it with, it's not going to be moving--so you won't hear any rattles (except possibly in the door panels). If you can live with junk pieces inside the panels, that will save you several minutes during the assembly process.

All in all, I'm happy with my purchase; I'm using the cabinet in my garage.

This shelf is attractive but does me no good when it is broken. One of the glass shelves was completely fractured off both metal spools that holds it to the frame. Finding a 2 tier component shelf in anything but black with Prime shipping is next to impossible, so now I have to decide to try again with a replacement or keep looking.

I like this product. It accomidates several pairs of shoes. It doesn't fit well on my previously installed Slate Wall System. The brackets seem a little small. It still works, but isn't as sturdy as it could be if it fit better.

These shoe shelves work just fine and are fine for storing shoes but the flat shelves (these run down at an angle) would do the same job just as well. If you have kids and lots of shoes I find that the Gladiator "bin" holders (that hold large plastic bins) are a better option for shoes. If you don't have kids and plan to keep your shoes neat then these work well. Of course, if you decide not to use them for shoes down the road then they likely won't be good for anything else where as the flat shelves have many other uses.

This works great, I have an extra large cabinet and ordered the mega org kit thru garageappeal.com, but amazon seems to have the misc things that are very helpful. We have a landing in our garage and always seems to accumulate shoes and always seems to need organization. with a couple of these shelves it give a little order and opens up space on the landing. well worth the price and along with other gladiator products makes the garage look awesome

These shelves are exactly what they look like online, and work nicely, however, they did not come with any hardware to hang them as most shelves do.

The item (Ikea Legdge) is a good product. It does not come with hardware but 3 short drywall screws into the pre-drilled holes is enough for hanging. I hung some picture frames and a buddy of mine put his rare albums on it so it's plenty strong for that kind of weight. As for the price at Ikea being lower that may be but the item is worth 5 stars not the over all shopping experience which I would give it a 3 star rating on the price alone.

Great product, but check the mounting accessories carefully (the actual product from ikea doesn't come with them) so they are offered by the reseller. The drywall screws aren't that great of quality, you might want to get your own, but the shelf is fantastic.

i work in the metal trades. this product screams, "i'm a cheap piece of junk!" there's no penetration on the welds, there's perhaps two threads engaged on any bolt, the bolts are pot-metal and the heads have very shallow engagement with assy tools. the unit is not sized for component AV equipment, it's for those HT=in-a-box units and game consoles. it comes packed up tight, but unpacks into a garbage hurricane of styrofoam bits, plastic bags and corrugated cardboard sheeting. the idea of packing the bits up and shipping it back, the absurd chore of it all, is the only thing that is keeping me from seeking a refund. if you move/relocate frequently, don't expect this unit to last but a couple of hops. for the price, i wasn't expecting a disposable unit.

good things to say? assy was easy enough, directions were easy to follow and all the hardware was enclosed.

I bought this stand 5-6 months ago and it's a great design and sturdy for the most part. My only gripe recently is I have a 55" Vizio TruLED and it's a pretty heavy TV and I've noticed while mounted on the back support of this stand, the TV leans forward a bit. It's not game breaking but certainly unusual to see, considering the TV is not over the weight limit for the stand. It's possible this is the way it's designed but that seems odd considering most people comment on it whenever they come over. If it had the option to sit on the glass as well, I would consider placing it on that with the mounts in place but I don't believe it supports that.

I bought this stand to replace a 42" Walker Edison stand, which also had a tv mount. The Walker Edison was a nice stand but too small for my components. (Some notes on the Walker Edison at the bottom if you're comparing the two.)

The Aviton provides plenty of space for big components, which was important for me. The stand is 44" wide with 11" of vertical space between the bottom shelves and 8" between the middle and top shelves. The depth of the shelves is 15.5" bottom, 17.5" middle and 14" top. My Pioneer AV receiver is on the bottom shelf and has about 3" of space behind it for wires, banana plugs, etc..

The TV mount has three height options. I used the highest option and my 50" plasma is 62.5" (5' 2.5") from the floor and doesn't lean. There is 11.5" of space between the top shelf and the bottom of the TV, which easily fits my 5" high center channel speaker.

The construction of the metal frame is great for the price. Some reviewer complained that the metal work isn't high grade and it may not be but for its intended purpose the frame is solid and square and the pre-drilled holes line up fine. The instructions say not to tighten the bolts until the end and this is why you need to move the frame around a little to line up some of the holes. It took me about 90 minutes to put the stand together and mount my plasma. All the parts were included, well labeled, and the instructions were easy to follow, just take your time.

The bottom shelf seems to be made of particle board with a glossy top, the second and third shelves are dark tempered glass. The bottom two shelves are supported in their centers by the frame so there was no bending (deflecton) under my components. The top shelf is supported by two bars on the sides, which should be sufficient for a center channel speaker.

Yes, it shows dust and finger prints. That's why they make dusters and remotes.

Overall, I'm very happy with it. It should last a long time.

Re: the 42" Walker Edison I replaced, it is also a great stand, well built and looked great (if you like cherry wood furniture), but the height between the bottom shelves was just under 7", which wasn't sufficient for my A/V receiver, and the wood frame covers the ends of the shelves, leaving about 32" of open width on each shelf, which crowded my components. The 60" version of the stand might have worked but I don't have that much space. If you don't need a lot of space for components and prefer the cherry wood frame on the Walker Edison, buy that one.

I was looking for a 3 tiered TV stand with a floating mount for the TV and it looked like this one fit the bill.

The item arrived very well packaged with each part sealed and padded with stryofoam. Get the vacuum cleaner ready because you are going to need it.

The instructions seemed a little intimidating at first with the amount of pieces and tons of screws included. After getting started, it was actually really easy as each part was clearly labeled along with which screws to use. The left over screws are for the TV mount with numerous lengths provided depending on the type of TV you have.

After completing the set up, I was able to mount the TV by myself. One you install the bracket on the back of your TV, it simply hooks on to the frame and feels surprisingly secure. As long as you don't have a 1st gen LCD TV, you shouldn't have any problems with the stand leaning forward and the whole setup feels secure and well made.

I was a little worried that TV would either be too high or too low. I have a large center channel speaker and as I was building the stand, it seemed like it may not fit on the first shelf. Thankfully even at the lowest TV height (there are 3 positions), the center channel fits perfectly under the TV on the first shelf.

The only con I can think of is I wish the shelves were just a bit longer. I placed my receiver on the bottom shelf and with all of the connections plugged in, it just barely fits without hanging over the edge. It's a snug fit and the cables are flush against the back plate.

If you are looking for a 3 tier stand, I don't think you can go wrong with Z-Line.

DaVinci Emily Changing Table II

Took me about 45 minutes to put this together with being cautious (first baby furniture item I put together). Very happy with the design. I questioned the durability of the shelf and table bottoms (the flat pieces) and posed a question to the group of people here on Amazon who bought it before and they assured me it is very durable. I put 4 stars still being cautious, but I will up it to 5 stars once it is baby tested! I bought a DaVinci crib too (Jame 4-in-1) and found that to be even easier to put together and very sturdy materials.

This changer isn't fancy, but it does the job. It was easy to assemble by myself at 8mos pregnant. Here's what I like about it: deep roomy drawer, the bars on the side are great for hanging caddies, towels, etc. (I made two fabric pockets that fasten over them with velcro, but you could also use a storebought fabric diaper caddy); the shelves are nice and roomy; the flat pad is actually really nice because you can set your wipes and other supplies on the surface, unlike the contoured pads; a thin but serviceable pad is included, and a king size pillowcase fits it perfectly.

The only con (especially for the price) is that it scratches pretty easily. I use baskets on the shelves, and on the shorter shelf, where the basket doesn't have has much clearance, has gotten really scratched up. If you're using baskets, you might want to cover the bottoms in felt or choose a soft or smooth-bottomed basket to avoid scuffs.

While I'm happy with this changer, I've since decided to get one of the very wide types that have room both for a changing pad and a whole extra area for supplies (I cloth diaper, so my stash takes up more room), but I don't regret getting this changer because the open shelves will serve well with the baskets to hold toys and linens.

I really love this changing table! It ended up matching the crib I had purchased 4 years ago which really made me happy. The price is excellent, I bought this from the Cymax store and it was a great price and free shipping. No missing parts and no flaws with the wood. I am 8 months pregnant and I was able to put this this together with my 3 year old "helping" me and I got it done in 30 minutes! The instruction manual is super easy to follow. The 3 baseboards are a little flimsy, but you screw in a metal bar that goes under each baseboard and it keeps it sturdy. I would recommend this product, hassle free and very cute! It also comes with a changing table pad which I didn't realize when I bought it. :)
