Conceal Bookshelf -Large

I bought this for easy access to commonly used reference books for my home office. I chose the large shelf expecting that it would hold seven or eight fairly large garden books (9 x 11 x 3/4" on average). I've found that the little shelf will hold 5 of these books (4" total height, including the base book) securely, 6 and the shelf flexes some, and any more and it feels overloaded. A bit more thickness in the steel would have made the shelf considerably stiffer and stronger. The image here on Amazon shows a shelf with 9 books (including the unusable base book). Maybe that load would be possible given the modest size of the books and the way they are stacked with decreasing perimeter-size toward the top (strength of an "L" shaped shelf is near the wall).

For larger books the load capacity of the shelf is quite limited, though it still works for my needs. I would recommend buying the smaller shelf at 2/3 the price of the large version as I doubt that the large holds anymore weight and probably really accomodates little more size, if any, because of the way the shelf holds the base book.

My shelf came with a minor paint defect and I think the large shelf is a little pricy at $16, though it is nicely packaged.

All in all, it's a simple, clean-looking little shelf that provides a very compact, inexpensive, and easily-installed solution for limited capacity book-holding.

I sceptically bought two to put beside a kitchen window for small plants, and now I own at least a dozen and am buying more. These little delights really do everything the ad says. I was able to put my teacher books above my desk and printer area, freeing up room for my sewing machine by ditching a bookcase. They hold the weight they say they will. My only advise is to buy molly bolts that you know will hold a certain weight just to be on the safe side. I bought ones that each hold 65 pounds, and now I never worry when a grandchild loads down a shelf. This little invisible shelves get tons of attention from my guests. They are quite a conversation piece.

I recieved 3 of these as a gift and love them. I personally didn't have a lot of books that would work as the bottom book so I had to separate a collection to use as a base for each and then stack other, smaller books on top. This will not fit your standard hard cover book for the base book. But if you have a few that will then it works just fine. I found out later that they also had some smaller ones available and will pick those up in the future as well.

This is a perfect bookshelf. My books look as if they are just suspended on the wall. I am in the process of decorating my apartment and wanted a shelf that would showcase the books, not the shelf. I have a mix of hardcover and paperback with 8-9 books on a shelf and all is well. I did not install them into a stud as my studs are metal and I didn't want to purchase additional hardware. I used the hardware given and put them into the wall. Two weeks and counting and they are holding just fine and are very sturdy. I ordered 3 and am looking to order another one soon. Great purchase...enjoy!!!

The product itself is fine. It's exactly as described. My problems with the product had to do with the problems I faced because of my apartment. Trying to install this on drywall is near impossible, though the product's instructions address this adequately, so I don't blame the manufacturer. My only problem with this product is it does not hold much weight. When you are a student with many textbooks to manuever, this is pretty critical. Otherwise, I am really thrilled with the design of the product.

First off, we love this, however, we expected to get blue doors. We got silver. We intended to purchase this product (we bought two) from Walmart where we got the matching book shelf but opted to purchase this from Amazon solely for the blue doors. We would have spent $20 less at Walmart for this identical product. I reviewed the description of this product thoroughly prior to purchasing it to make sure we would get blue doors. Heck, even the title of the product says Navy Blue Panel. That being said, this is a great product. Matches the other pieces we purchased perfectly and our son is happy. I would have preferred the product as described but am happy if my child is.

A couple of the brackets came pre-rusted, but I used them anyway. The instructions are very minimal and don't state what size and type of material to buy to build the cabinets, only that the example used melamine. Since my cabinets would be strictly utility, I selected 1/2" plywood. The measurements provided for attaching the door hinges wouldn't work at all, and I wound up buying 1/4" plywood for the doors and setting the hinges by trial & error. The ten utility & ladder hooks weren't threaded far enough to use with 1/2" wood, so I had to extend the threads with my tap & die set (no way would they have worked with the 3/4" melamine available at Home Depot!).

Bottom line: Too much work for utility cabinets; I should have just bought some used kitchen cabinets and hung them on the garage wall. I need to get some additional brackets to support the center of the inside shelves lest they sag. NOTE: Plywood alone cost over $100 from Home Depot, that's in addition to the cost of the kit.

So, I got this package early which was GREAT since it was the last piece I needed for my nursery. But when I was checking to make sure I had all the parts I noticed it that the end frame at the bottom was split and a large chunk of wood was missing. Sad day right? I call customer service, the number doesn't work. Even better. Finally get the right number only to find out that there are only 2 guys that work customer service. Haha. The icing on the cake, Anyways, awaiting my replacement part. I gave it 3 stars because the seller shipped this well packaged and quickly, which I super appreciate. But I always get annoyed when I order something and it comes to my house broken and then I have to wait on replacement pieces that may or may not come. I hope its cute once it is assembled. Also FYI this thing is NOT real wood. Its MDF and the shelves are literally flimsy cardboard. If you want quality material, order something else.

Love it! I wish I had bought one when I had my first two babies. I would recommend this to anyone who is expecting.

Love this product! I live in an efficienty apartment and need all the extra compact storage I can get. This rack is sturdy, holds my shoes without bending and fits well in my closet. I can fit three pair of mens shoes (size 8.5) on each shelf so this holds 12 pair of shoes and sandals. Highly recommended.

I fixed it up in less than 5mins. It is light but (sufficiently) sturdy for shoes and papers. Takes up minimal space and is a great storage unit. Am considering to get a second one.

I'm probably being overly sensitive, but "Honey-Can-Do" strikes me as a gender-specific, slightly patronizing imperative. Then I read the assembly instructions, which begin with the sentence: "Plan to allow 5 minutes for assembly." What's that supposed to mean? That honey's problem is impatience? (As any proud patriarchal head-of-household can see, these separate 12 pieces are likely to test such an assumption severely.) Or that honey is most likely afflicted by the usual male incompetence? (If I plan to allow 5 minutes and publicly confess that it took me 15, I'm a double dork--for botching the job and admitting it).

So the rack is an insult--but admittedly a light one. It truly is practically a no-brainer to assemble, though you'd have to be a polymath to nail it in 5 minutes--either that or someone who reads through the instructions in advance and practices doing it a couple of times before starting the timer. I elected to do neither, so 15 minutes will have to stand as a blemish on an otherwise successful implementation of the shelf.

All the same, this is the rack I've been looking for and not finding. It costs less than those slanted jobs that work only with high-heeled shoes, and unlike some of the lightweight plastic racks I've tried, it doesn't resemble a hammock once I've loaded it up. Moreover, this generous-sized concoction could conceivably accommodate up to 16 pairs of shoes! (Caveat: That's if your feet are less than size 10 and you have some sandals or sneakers that'll slide underneath the bottom shelf; for most of us, 9 pairs of shoes is probably more accurate.) You'll probably find it a little on the high side to clear the shirts in your closet, but if you remember to put your dress shoes on the top rack, they should remain relatively dust-free.

Unlike some racks, this one doesn't collapse or adjust to the width of your closet, so measure carefully or plan to spend a lot more than 5 minutes knocking out a wall to remodel the closet (honey no can do).

This shelf was so easy to assemble when I saw the tiny box I got scared that it would be a hundred pieces to figure out, but it was actually a 2 minute process! The shelf is a little bigger then I was hoping for, but I can take a rack off the bottom to lower the height a little. Over all a great sturdy product!

I'm sorry but this is the worst product I have ever purchased. It wasn't too tricky to put it together but after you do it won't stand up straight. It leans to either side drastically and I consider it totally useless. I have not had the time to re-package and send it back but I will probably throw it in the trash. Totally useless to me.

These bookcases look sturdy and hold up well. Assembly is a huge pain the butt. There isn't quality control for the size of the pegs... a few pieces took a lot of elbow grease to assemble while others were rather loose. Overall, I like the look of the product. NOTE: The shelves on the desk are not evenly aligned with the bookcases. They sit about an inch lower.

Please be aware when purchasing items from this company, they do not honor their own return policy as stated on their product packaging. My shower caddy rusted within a week after purchasing it, despite a rust proof guarantee. The packaging states: "In case of customer dissatisfaction, return this product, along with the original sales receipt, to the factory. Consumer will be refunded for the return postage and may choose either a no charge replacement or a refund of the original purchase price." And when I requested a refund, I was told that their return policy has now changed, regardless of what was written on my product's packaging.

*I just want consumers out there to be aware of my personal experience with this company, and hopefully it will be of use in their decision-making process.

I purchased this item elsewhere and had a heck of a time with it. If you use all four bars, it's too tall. If you use only three, it's too short (this is going from tub to ceiling, not floor to ceiling). Then to top it off, it started rusting within 3 days. Shouldn't something that's made for the tub be rust-proof???

The only good thing about it is it does what it's supposed to do, it holds bath accessories. Once I got it in the shower, that is. Since the 4th bar made the pole too tall, I had to place it in the tub with just the three bars and bunch up hand towels under the bottom of it to hold it in place.

I think Better Bath must have had a contest to find the worst possible set of instructions for how to assemble their bath and shower caddy. The instructions really shouldn't be that complicated. A simple, large diagram with annotations should have sufficed. Instead, it's 10 steps (well, 11 because there's a 3 and 3B) that barely make any sense.

Fortunately, i've put a few of these together in my day, so i was able to mostly ignore the instructions.

I've had ours up for several weeks now, and not had any problem with rust like one of the other reviewers. There are four shelves, one of which has a little washcloth bar, and another with a rounded bottom for holding things like loofas. For two people with only a few shower products each, it's more than enough room (one shelf of ours is empty, which we rationalize by saying it's the Guest Shelf).

Measure carefully before buying, though, and make sure the space you'll be putting this in is at least 7' 8" (92"). There's a zinger in the last step of the instructions. It says, "Since there is no standard ceiling height, it may be necessary to reduce the height of the Pole Caddy by carefully cutting off some of the 1/2" diameter tube." They offer no advice on how to 'carefully cut' the metal pole indicated, but i assume some clamps and a metal saw of some sort would be involved.

This was exactly what I wanted for my walk-in shower !

I've used it for over a year and only one complaint. One of the trays keeps falling down. It is secured with only a rubber gromet. All in all, I would purchase this again. It has ample storage area and looks good too !

We are using this cart in the county law library and it's great. It was really easy to put together and adjust. For our needs I put the shelf on the bottom and the bins in the middle and the top. It's big enough to hold a lot of books, but with the 4 wheel steering you can turn it around in the middle of the cramped aisles! I would definately recommend this product!

This is a great item. It was easy to put together, sturdy and the wide wheels allow for easy movement. The two baskets, along with the handle, are adjustable. I have the lower basket at the lowest point and the upper one about a third the way down. This works out great for moving grocery/purchases from our car to our small home elevator, our garage is under our home about 17 feet off the ground. The bottom basket can hold large items (24 rolls of toilet paper, 8 rolls of papertowels (both sideways) with room for a gallon of milk and other items along the side. The upper basket is low enough to place other bagged items. The top shelf is the perfect size for a 'Costco fruit box' loaded with goodies. I am more than pleased with this item and would certainly recommend it to anyone. I am waiting for my husband to decide he wants one for his auto tools, to move easily to our vehicles. This item was just PERFECT in every way.

I was so excited about this purchase. I am a mobility-challenged homemaker and I planned to use this cart as a baking center that I could use while seated. It arrived via Fed Ex in only one day. A GREAT thing. It comes with the cart box double packed in an Amazon box. Great packaging! My husband went right to work putting it together. My hubby is very handy with assembling things like this and we were very impressed with the sturdy weight and quality of the pieces in the box. All was going pretty well until he arrived at the 2nd (center) shelf. If you look closely at the shelves, you will notice that there is a decorative rim welded to the top of each basket and the top shelf. On the corners of these rims are round cylinder-type pieces that go on the leg posts. What you might not be able to tell from the picture is that these round pieces are slightly tapered and the small part of the taper is on top. Well, it SHOULD be on top. On one of our deep-sided shelves, the rim was welded on upside down. This made it impossible to keep the shelf in place if heavy objects were placed on it. Today I called the Honey Can Do Company in Illinois. I spoke to a woman whose job should not be answering phones. I explained the situation and had to keep asking if she was there...as I spoke she made no indication she was hearing me or had any understanding of what I was saying to her. Just dead silence! Finally she asked me for my phone number and then my address and then said "it" should come in 7-14 business days. I asked if they could do overnight delivery...after all, it was their error and I'm the one stuck with a partially assembled cart. She curtly answered, "7 to 14 business days." I felt like I was talking to a robot except a robot might have been more expressive. So we wait. I think this will be an excellent product once it is assembled and I still look forward to using it with my baking supplies and electric mixer all in one place. I'll update when I've had a chance to put it to use.

September 4 The replacement shelf FINALLY arrived today. It was shipped in a box that was easily 3 or 4 times the height of the deep wire shelf and with absolutely NO packing material around it. Consequently the shelf bounced and rattled its way to my home. When it arrived, the box was greatly damaged where the shelf had torn through it and some of the wire sides were dented in. NO WAY were we calling to request another one. My husband was able to bend the damaged parts back into shape and finally my cart is together. It really is a nice cart but this company is the pits. Obviously they take no pride in the way they handle customer service...either over the phone or in the shipment of replacement products. We now refer to them as the "Honey Boo Boo Company". It's a good thing they have Amazon to do their shipping for them and to *try* to make them look good. Since their actions invite negative feedback, I will comply. I still do, however, look forward to putting this product to use in spite of their shoddy behavior.

I love the cart, it's perfect for some extra storage in my kitchen, looks nice, and it's very sturdy. Just a hint, I was having trouble with the black pieces that connect to support the trays. I couldn't get them to stay together, some did and some didn't. Nothing in the instructions addressed my issue. So I gave up and when a friend came over she noticed that the inside of the black pieces were marked and you had to find the two matching pieces to snap together. When you did that they clicked together very easily and did what they were supposed to do. I know I am a dolt when it comes to anything remotely mechanical. So for anyone with a similar affliction, there's your answer!

Con-Tact Premium Ribbed Shelf Liner 18 in x 15 ft

This Con-Tact shelf liner is great, probably the best shelf liner I've used. It is *very* easy to cut, which makes installation a breeze. With other shelf liners -I'm thinking of the Ikea stuff, which is especially bad -it is tough to cut straight lines, meaning lots of annoying trimming. None of that necessary with the Con-Tact; I got a clean cut the first time, every time.

My only quibble is the size, particularly the width. It seems like I was coming up *just* a little short in many places. I would have preferred it to be 20 inches, rather than 18 inches wide. Maybe my kitchen just has wide drawers, so this might not be an issue for you.

I prefer to use this shelf liner under bathroom cabinets. It's sturdy & clans up easily. It's a bit slick, so items slide out easily, but you do want to tack it down, some way, probably. I prefer this type over the adhesive type that is such a PITA to remove if/when you want to change it out.

Easy to cut and fit, sometimes it curls up as I am laying on the shelf, so I use a hair dryer to soften it and then it lays nice and flat. It looks clean on the shelf.

I bought this liner because I thought it would be easy to clean but the ridges actually make it harder. Also, it's a little thinner than I thought it would be but so far has not caused any issues. Next time I will try a cork liner as I heard it works very well, is thick and easy to clean.

DaVinci Emily Changing Table II

Took me about 45 minutes to put this together with being cautious (first baby furniture item I put together). Very happy with the design. I questioned the durability of the shelf and table bottoms (the flat pieces) and posed a question to the group of people here on Amazon who bought it before and they assured me it is very durable. I put 4 stars still being cautious, but I will up it to 5 stars once it is baby tested! I bought a DaVinci crib too (Jame 4-in-1) and found that to be even easier to put together and very sturdy materials.

This changer isn't fancy, but it does the job. It was easy to assemble by myself at 8mos pregnant. Here's what I like about it: deep roomy drawer, the bars on the side are great for hanging caddies, towels, etc. (I made two fabric pockets that fasten over them with velcro, but you could also use a storebought fabric diaper caddy); the shelves are nice and roomy; the flat pad is actually really nice because you can set your wipes and other supplies on the surface, unlike the contoured pads; a thin but serviceable pad is included, and a king size pillowcase fits it perfectly.

The only con (especially for the price) is that it scratches pretty easily. I use baskets on the shelves, and on the shorter shelf, where the basket doesn't have has much clearance, has gotten really scratched up. If you're using baskets, you might want to cover the bottoms in felt or choose a soft or smooth-bottomed basket to avoid scuffs.

While I'm happy with this changer, I've since decided to get one of the very wide types that have room both for a changing pad and a whole extra area for supplies (I cloth diaper, so my stash takes up more room), but I don't regret getting this changer because the open shelves will serve well with the baskets to hold toys and linens.

I really love this changing table! It ended up matching the crib I had purchased 4 years ago which really made me happy. The price is excellent, I bought this from the Cymax store and it was a great price and free shipping. No missing parts and no flaws with the wood. I am 8 months pregnant and I was able to put this this together with my 3 year old "helping" me and I got it done in 30 minutes! The instruction manual is super easy to follow. The 3 baseboards are a little flimsy, but you screw in a metal bar that goes under each baseboard and it keeps it sturdy. I would recommend this product, hassle free and very cute! It also comes with a changing table pad which I didn't realize when I bought it. :)
