Seem to be expensive for what they are, but are very heavy guage steel. They work very well with the Akro bins and are probably cheaper in the long run than buying or building individual shelves. Also, you can reconfigure your bins in hundreds of configurations using these panels. Seem to be very high quality. I will probably purchase more as I need more bin space.
I bought this shelf plus the matching baskets to store shoes just inside my front door (instead of having a giant pile of shoes just strewn about on the floor). I had previously purchased the Winsome Wood tall four-shelved unit for my cookbook collection, so I decided to go with Winsome Wood again. I am pleased with my purchase. In other reviews you will see that some people have had trouble actually assembling the shelves; I myself did not have any problem assembling either this unit or the other Winsome Wood unit I purchased. I just read the directions carefully and took my time in making sure all the parts were lined up properly. This unit is easy to assemble. It is solid wood, which is a plus in this day and age of pressboard. In some spots the wood is a little rough, but not majorly so. The Espresso color is definitely dark, but that's what I wanted. We live in a 120+ year old Victorian, and I wanted dark wood that would blend in with the new and the old furnishing and decor. This shelf set holds about 20 pairs of shoes (in five baskets, which I purchased separately) in the following sizes: women's 8.5, men's 10.5, men's 9, and women's 6.5. It's such a neat alternative to my old giant pile of shoes! I do recommend this product for a good middle-of-the-road shelving set.
This shelf is quite attractive and easy to install. The depth of it is greater than I was imaging, so if you're using it for a smallish item (like a DVD or cable box), it will stick out form the wall farther than you need.

This is a great wall mount shelf. There aren't a lot of 30 lb shelf mount speakers out there. I have Klipsch RS-62s that weigh in at 26 lbs each, and the shelves accomodate them. The down side is that one of the shelves was sent with screws that had no thread! Also you HAVE TO install thise into a stud, period! When you initially drill, make sure you find wood shavings as the drill bit comes out. When you install drill the other holes, MAKE SURE you measure from the ground to the top of the wall plate to assure the speakers will be at the same height. Also, make sure that before you do your drilling deep, LEVEL the plate using a LEVEL you can buy at any hardware store, so your speakers don't tilt in one direction or the other. Make sure the top side is on TOP and put the plastic cover on BEFORE you attach the glass, and that the glass is faced so the rounded edge is in the front! I looked all over the internet for a mechanism or shelf in which to mount my rear surround Paradigm Studio 20 V5 speakers, of which each weighs 24 lbs. This product is exactly what I was looking for. I bought two of these shelves, one for my TiVo and the other for a DVD player. I was able to install them one above the other and they look great. The glass for the shelf is very thick and it would probably support a TV! The only thing I found odd was that that if was impossible to tighten the bracket so it would not move back and forth. It really isn't a problem unless the shelf was in a high traffic area....which would not be a good idea anyway. Nice looking, well made and gets the job done easy.
Simply put this product is fantastic for its simple functionality and form. I was first introduced to the metro shelving (commercial) components on the job in retail and restaurant environments. Both locations used metroshelving in various configurations to store large amounts of merchandise and food. Worked well in a houseware store environment, where hundreds of pounds of heavy merchandise (cast iron, steel, ceramics) were nicely and securely displayed. In the restaurant environment this stuff was used all over, from the wait stations to kitchen pantries to walk-in fridges and freezers. With the Intermetro line, the same flexibility and functionality is available for the home price point and decor. When I moved into an apartment with literally no storage space in the large kitchen (the rest of the place, including the view of the Hudson River made up for that) I immediately went in search of options. I did not hesitate when I discovered the Intermetro product was available. Five 18"x48" shelves and four 60" posts created created a nice "pantry" for my kitchen, with cast iron and stainless steel pots on the two shelves, dry goods in the middle, appliances above those, and microwave and other items on top, I had easily solved my space needs, and in a way that was not expensive or intrusive to the room, as I picked white, and was able to situate the unit in front of a window with no loss of light or ventilation. Add a few hooks and accessories (drawer, shelf liner) and I was good to go. It served me well in that apt for 6 years, and now that I have moved to a house with lots of kitchen cabinets the shelving unit has found its place in the garage housing all the spare stuff that gathers in garages (AC units, tools, marble tiles, etc). All of that being said, I would highly recommend this product to any one needing some easily prepared but durable storage. Buy it once and it will last a lifetime of multiple uses. btw, did I mention that it was easy to put together, store and transport? Purchase this with confidence of satisfaction.

The shelving unit was exactly what I had thought it would be: a sturdy, lightweight, and easy-to-build shelving system to use in our home. The corner unit fits perfectly into our room and adds a good amount of functional space for decoration and storage.this shelf is what you get for the money. i did not realize that the black connectors are plastic. i wouldn't recommend putting anything heavy on it as it can lean over and fall. it is very tall, so you can put tall items on the shelves. the bottom is not very supported but it is level. All of the shelves are parallel and it could be a nice addition to your house.This was actually much bigger than I expected which was a nice surprise for me. Luckily I had enough space for it but be sure to double check the dimensions before ordering. It was super easy to put together, no tools needed and it will also be very easy to take apart when moving. The legs are plastic which I didn't realize but it still looks pretty nice in my bathroom. I was very pleased with it especially for the price.
Purchased this shelf a week ago and it arrived five days later. The shipping container is as large as you would expect given the size of the shelf. If moving it around a single story, one person can slide this with relative ease, but you'll need an extra set of hands to move this up a flight of stairs. The carton was a bit tattered upon arrival but the shelf was well protected inside and therefore undamaged.

During the assembly I began to notice imperfections in the laminate that were poorly touched up. In addition, two of the top shelfs where crooked due to the way the holes where drilled. The bookshelf looks nice, but the quality and manufacturing is poor and is nothing like you would expect with an American made product. The pie safe is well made and finished beautifully. I use it in my kitchen as a "snack cabinet" and to hold the extras that won't fit in my less than ample cabinet space. I could have gone with something cheaper but this really is a nice piece of furniture that adds simply elegance to my little kitchen.

Sorry-I lost the link in the middle of the review. I was not happy with this item! It was difficult to put together, and took nearly more strength that I have. I have had some experience putting furniture together-but this one took every bit of ingenuity and strength I could muster-and I used my problem-skills to get it done. I was horrified that the tacky plastic pieces were necessary to hold in the front inserts and figured out that I needed carpenter's wood glue in addition. I could not believe that the little metal pins and light screws were the connectors. The top was nearly impossible to put on and is loose at one corner, despite my efforts. I am sick at heart that I must spend so much time in the future oiling this piece! I moved it myself into place in the kitchen, but felt connections straining under the effort. The pieces do not fit-and there are obvious 1/16-1/8 inch gaps all around. Built solid and generally assembled well. As observed by others I found that the plastic retainers which hold the door panels in the door frame are totally inadequate. I chose to secure the panels using carpenter's wood glue. I needed a variety of clamps and weights to hold the panels in place while the glue dried. This is because the panels come with a warp to them. This gluing probably added 5 hours to the assembly time. I saw a lot of negative reviews on this tower. It took me some time on purchasing it because i kept going back and forth on wither to buy it. Finally i said what the hell and bought it! I am so happy I did. I bought the walnut finish and it looks great. I have no problem with sagging in the shelves. The one thing i would say is take your time putting it together and to have at least two people putting it together. We had four and it went really fast. My son who is 9 helped me. Then towards the end I had my husband and his friend help me and my son lift it to put the back on since in till you have the back on its not to strong. Also read the instructions first before putting it together. A lot of people said they have sagging shelves.It wont happen if you use the supports they give you. I have a large CD collection and when I found this rack, I thought my problems were solved. The biggest problem with this rack is the quality of the materials. On other CD racks I own, the shelves are made of a 1/2" 5/8" MDF or solid wood. The shelves on this rack are 1/4" thick. The span of these shelves is comparable to my other racks, which do not require any support other than either end. This rack, however, requires supports on both ends, the center and they have these other discs to keep the shelf from 'sagging.' The shelf wouldn't sag if it was made from a thick enough piece of material. The worst part is, when I have been adding CDs to the rack, if I just slightly bump one of the center supports, both of them fly out, then the shelf immediately sags. I have had to physically glue in center supports to keep them in place. Very disappointing. Also, to actually use the entire length of the shelf, you have to tuck CDs behind the front trim pieces on either end of the shelf, so you can't have a full shelf and just easily slide out any CD. The thing is...it's too big to even repackage or return. I bought this through Stacks and Stacks and they were super about getting it out quickly and they have the best price I have seen online. Otherwise, the rack is nice looking. The cherry color that I bought is a medium shade of cherry, not a red cherry color, but still very nice. If you have a large collection, save your money and have a cabinet maker build you a custom shelf. You'll be happier in the long run.. The shelves have little grommets to help prevent sagging but they do not do the job completely. I like the look of the unit and perhaps I'll be able to rig a shelf support system myself.
You would be surprised how many pockets of empty storage space one can find around the house. I just purchased one of these and I wish I had bought two. The handles are longer than the others (I have a couple of the shorter arm types in my linen closet). The longer handles make this much sturdier and overall a superior quality product. The bronze color lets it blend in more with the surroundings. It's a little more expensive, but worth the price.

I have three of these now one holds paper plates, over my regular dinner ware. A second holds a set of 4 Anchor Hocking mixing bowls and a third holds two 8 x 8 pyrex baking dishes, the item I use more than anything. So much easier not to have to pull items from under a pile, and makes good use of the space I had because of shelves spaced too far apart.
Incredibly heavy with no instructions. Couldn't figure how to use it so I returned it. The system needs to be more "user-friendly" for non-professionals.

My husband just put this together tonight and I was amazed on the quality of it. Usually you get what you pay for, and other comparable dresser/changers are at least $100 more so I thought it would be cheesy. I was wrong! It's good quality wood, the drawers slide very nicely and the height is perfect. I'm 5'8" and my husband is 6'3" so we were afraid it wasn't going to be high enough and the picture makes it seem like it's short, but it's perfect for both of us. The cherry color is also very true. We have a cherry finish crib and we were afraid it wouldn't be close in color and it matches perfectly. Great product!!! I will definitely be recommending this to my pregnant friends!

The all-steel bookcase looks nice enough. For something so large and with the potential of holding a great deal, the flat-pack design with assembly and no hardware shouldn't have been selected in my opinion. Although when assembled, the bookcase is not as sturdy as I'd like, it probably is fine. Relatively speaking, I seem to have gotten the bookcase for a steal at $196.18 shipped given the total cost through other merchants. I would not likely buy this again and would instead look for fully-assembled and more rigid options.
These shelves are exactly what they look like online, and work nicely, however, they did not come with any hardware to hang them as most shelves do.

I use these racks to warehouse inventory. Small media items like books, dvds, cds, vhs, fit on these very easily with plenty of space for stacking. The shelving is very sturdy, which when you're dealing with heavy items like tools or hundreds of books, is essential. At 18" deep you have the ability to fit storage bins, crates and boxes with ease. In my case, since media items are fairly small, I am able to use these racks from both sides as they are set up about 4 feet from the wall.

This is the third Gorilla rack system I have purchased. The first two were very solid pieces of gear. This one is solid but not nearly like the others. That the shelf boards are covered is nice. My main problem is that it arrived missing many parts. I contacted the company, waited a couple days and did not get a call back. Called again and got a human who was very nice. Told her the issue of the missing parts and gave my information. It's been a couple weeks and I haven't seen the parts to complete the purchase. The day after I talked with the nice lady, I did get a phone message from the company relating to my first call. In short, it's a fairly solid item. If there is any disappointment, it is because I have some previous one's, bought at Sam's Club, that are much more sturdy for the same price, and that the system did not arrive complete. One of the best products I have purchased. The rack was very easy to assemble, took about 20 minutes. Fit and function are excellant. The rack is very sturdy, I have about 800 lbs of canned goods on it. I would recommend this rack to anyone.
I put this item together myself in about an hour with no help and I'm 9 months pregnant. It probably would have gone by faster if i had a little help holding up the sides though. Anyway, i love this changing table. You will probably want to purchase a thicker changing pad but the one that comes with it works too. The drawers slide in and out easily (they're made of cloth type material) and the hamper is very spacious. I hung a diaper depot thingy (i purchased separately) on the side that holds diapers and creams and things, which is very handy. It doesn't take up a huge amount of space either.. .and unlike the previous review i read, there is no smell whatsoever to my changing table. It smelled "new" for about a day or so which wasn't unpleasant at all. And i have a terribly sensitive nose, pregnant or not.

I bought this for my second child and love it. The storage baskets are perfect for diapers and wipes, receiving blankets and little socks, hats and shoes. And having the clothes hamper right there is so convenient. It's sturdy and classic looking. Thankfully transformed a skinny cabinet into useful space for our trash yes, it's a fairly small bin, but we had no space under the sink. Anyway, don't mind having to empty it out often helps so area won't smell bad from trash. The pull out mechanism works great stops at the end, and somehow tilts forward so it's easy to remove bin when it's time to empty. Absolutely no complaints great item at a really good price.

We had bought one of these from the Container store, but it was too big. I had to do a lot of searching, I found this one which fits perfectly. Only drawback is that it is a little difficult to empty the can out when full. (It falls over sometimes if I'm not careful).
Furniture was packaged very well, but top front of stand still had chips from shipping. The entire thing isn't hardwood. The two main pieces and doors are hardwood, but the other pieces are partical board. Would have liked a little better quality for the price, but overall a good purchase an the stand looks great.

I'm 31 & a mother of 4 small children...this tv stand is perfect! Its sturdy & looks beautiful. I put together all by myself, which not my thing. It was kind of frustrating at first b/c the 1st step requires more than 2 hands.This TV Stand went together easily. The directions could have been a little more detailed but still made sense. The quality of the packaging was second to none. I never saw a a product that was shipped to me triple boxed with plenty of foam to protect the contents. The TV stand looks great. The doors do fit a little tight, but will see what the winter brings. And just one word of caution, when putting the doors on be sure to get them into the correct holes on the first try. I got one stuck in another hole on the underside of the door frame and took a special dentist type tool to get it back out. Overall a great purchase.
I was a little leery about ordering this bookcase as the other review said it was wobbly. But it exactly fit in the small area I needed 25 inches, so I ordered it anyway. Also, it was on sale on the Friday specials, so the price was very reasonable. I am so glad I purchased this item as it is fantastic! Very well built, does not wobble at all, the finish on it is beautiful with no flaws a nice espresso dark color. I even bought the two baskets that fit on the bottom shelf, and it makes for a beautiful bookshelf unit. Don't hesitate to purchase it if you are looking for a small bookcase for a small area. Loved the look of this but once it arrived and we assembled it, it's not very sturdy (wobbles). So--nice for the price...but not a solid piece of furniture, and smaller than I expected (exact same item is listed at Target but with larger dimensions).
