They're plastic, not metal, FYI. They come with screws and screw anchors, so you're going to need a drill. The birds fit over the screw like picture frames. It's a little bit challenging to make them completely flat to the wall.

They have a magnet under their chins to hold your keys! Their beaks hold mail! Those features are shown in this photo:

This hook set is fantastic. I can't stop bragging about it to people who walk in my front door, while trying to get them to hang up their keys. I am especially impressed with the magnet-which is relatively strong for being so small. It can hold my keys (which are decently heavy)and my husbands keys as well. I have yet to come across a set of keys it can't hold. As for saying 'Beaks can hold notes' understand that they are talking about thin pieces of paper. I was hoping that they could hold mail but that is definitely not an option, they wouldn't even hold a single envelope. My only other issue is that they are not very deep, so if you have heavy winter coats they will not stay on because there isn't enough depth. All in all though these are a great buy and very functional. Highly recommended.

Sometimes a hook rack is problematic just because of its size, even though the design is appealing. No such trouble here; you can space these little guys exactly as you wish. Nice tight fit in the keyhole, and it's sturdy enough not to get bent out of shape in the placement process... I've struggled with big shelves with flimsier keyholes, so this is a pleasant surprise. The magnet is strong, just as depicted, and the hooks have great presence once in place.

they're pretty and lots of people like them. kids love them. but as the dad who had to install them, i gotta tell ya that these puppies require some skill to make sure they're tight. and even then, they twist from time to time. and i can imagine them getting loose in the future..

These little guys are great. The look, plus each has a magnet under its beak to hold keys, and also they can hold mail in their mouths if you'd like though I'm not sure I'll ever use that feature.

But as anyone who's hung coat hooks on drywall knows, sometimes heavier jackets can pull the screws right out of the wall. I recommend using heavy duty anchors instead of the ones provided. I used the #6 set that, according to the packaging, can hold up to 30 lbs. You'll need an electric screwdriver and a light hand to install these.

After you mount them, you might notice that the wall hooks tend to swivel a bit around the screw. I used double-stick tape to stabilize them. Now, they're perfect!

Madison Avenue Linen Tower

Nice looking towel tower, but I specifically needed it to fit in a 61 1/2 inch space under a window. Specs say it's 60" tall, so I thought it would be perfect. The problem is that it is actually 63 inches tall, so I will have to cut off the legs. I also had some of the hardware break when installing it, AND some of the holes for the pins were not lined up with each other.

It's a perfect fit for the very small bathroom I have. I use it to stack towels and various toiletries. It looks like an expensive piece of furniture (not like that pressed wood you get in this price range). Easy enough for a 48 yr. old female with no carpenter skills to put together alone. I am very pleased with the tower.

The product looks amazing online. It was exactly what we were looking for to complement the bathroom we just had remodeled. I knew it was going to be particle board, but I thought it would at least have some sort of quality. I was wrong. The package came with all the hardware, and from there it took a nose dive from bad to worse. Putting it together was a 2 person job, which is fine. But that was the only fine thing about the process. The little wooden dowels were weak and 2 broke while we were putting it together. Two corners peeled away to reveal the brown particle board underneath, when trying to secure it to the edges. We had to glue the corners back on and had to lean one shelf against the dowels instead of using them in each hole, because they were so flimsy. I wouldn't recommend this piece of furniture to anyone. I feel like i was ripped off by paying 120 bucks for this piece of junk. I could have gone to Lowe's, gotten 50 bucks worth of wood and built something myself that was stronger and better built than this piece of crap.

Don't waste your time. Look elsewhere for something else. Don't say I didn't warn you.

I would never buy anything from this manufacturer again. I bought three items from the same collection and two of the three were so poorly made they could not be used and were defective in their construction, not even fitting together tightly. This item was the only one of the three that was usable but I would never purchase it again

I am very satisfied with the unit overall and would have ranked it higher should it not have exhibited the inherent tendencies of furniture in this class, i.e. one of the hardware fasteners broke...and when tightening the fasteners there was once an issue with the veneer wanting to separate. But, having said that, for the price, the unit works very well for its intended application...that being some additional horizontal space in our bathroom. And for under $100 I would recommend for anybody looking for value and functionality who does not care about the China made aspect. Lastly, the amount of left over packaging was somewhat a drag, apparently they need a lot to protect the unit for the lengthy journey.

Adjustable Door Rack

I was so excited to find this item as I was convinced it would add a lot to my limited pantry space. Well, I can't say how the 18" system holds up, but the 24" setup is way too flimsy. The back braces are PLASTIC (actually 4 separate units for each side that you slip together creating weak joints that pop apart) and unable to hold much weight at all without buckling (ditto for the baskets which change shape too when even a small amount of weight added). Definitely you could not put cans on these as the pictures suggest. Also, wire baskets have wide spaces that will allow smaller items, like spice bottles, to tip over so doesn't work for those as I had hoped. Anyway, if we hadn't drilled the necessary holes in the door to mount this, it would go right back to the vendor. Instead, I will be storing lightweight items like paper towels, crackers, tea boxes, etc. in hopes of getting some use out of it and try to keep that door closed so I don't have to look at the obvious sagging in some places. Hope I have saved someone else this same experience.

The 18" rack is a suitable size capable of storing groceries , but when loaded with products, the weight pulls the screws out of the door. Not sturdy enough for the purpose intended.

Overall,now thqt the rack has been up a month, I am happy with it.

When I pulled the PLASTIC rails out of the box, I groaned thinking this was just going to be a cheap fall-apart item. However, the plastic rails have held up well under full load and when it came time to trim them off to fit my needs, they cut easily with a box knife.

The only disappointment I had was with the hollow wall anchors that came with it. They are the cheapest and poorest designed anchors I have ever seen. Save yourself a bunch of heartache and get some good hollow wall anchors at your local hardware store when mounting this rack.

This product initially appears cheaply manufactured with plastic rails and light wire baskets. Yet, the simplicity of the product did not all compromise its effectiveness as a reliable door-mounted storage unit. Once fully assembled, it is sturdy and not a single item has fallen from a basket, despite some vigorous opening and closing of the door even vertical Saran Wrap boxes stay in their spots. This unit is perfect for storing light bulb packages, cereal and other lighter items. It is certainly not intended for heavier items like soup cans. Adding this unit was like adding another pantry. I would purchase this item again and wish I had bought it 5 years ago.

These are covering my garage walls. I really like the Gladiator GarageWorks products. I've bought some from Amazon and some from Sears. The Sears items have always been in bad shape. In fact, I first bought these wall panels from sears...had to wait several weeks...and then they arrived broken. I returned them to Sears and order from Amazon...had them in two days (Amazon Prime!) and they were in perfect condition.

My fiance and I bought a new house a few months ago. Or, as she likes to say it, I bought a garage with a house attached. In getting my garage all set up, I purchased the Gladiator GarageWorks rail system and a few of these shelves. These are great build quality and work like a charm!

I personally love the Gladiator GarageWorks products, I use them not only in my garage, but the laundry room, storage room, etc. This shelf is VERY solidly built and if you already have the rail system installed, takes about 10 seconds to install. It took longer to unpack it than it did to put it up! It is sturdy and I have no doubts about it holding it's stated weight provided you have correctly installed the rail system. As a bonus, the thing just looks good. A nice finish and it blends well with all their other products.

The only downside is the price. For about $50 a shelf, it can get very expensive to use these. I have been trying to use the cheaper 2ft wire ones where I can but they don't even compare to this one. Would be a five star product if only they were a bit cheaper in price.

ClosetMaid 2-Door Laminate Stacker Organizer

We do love the closetmaid stackable units, but the doors on this unit are not supported well. Within 1-2 weeks both doors had fallen off from use. Now these are in my 3 year old sons room, so he might not be gentle when opening them, but they shouldn't have broken that quickly. The unit itself is fine though. We have bought two more of these since then, but we didn't install the doors. Works fine as a open bookshelf.

This is not a bad item but you get what you pay for. I'm living in Germany right now and storage is lack-thereof here. I purchased these in a local store and it works well for what I need it for (as an extra pantry). I plan to buy another since they are stackable.

The only real downsides for me were that the laminate can become easily chipped. As I was putting it together a small corner was already broken off and another piece went as I was joining boards. Both managed to be in places that are hideable. Also the holes for the magnetic pieces were not drilled in the doors. Don't know if this is how they come or if it was a factory line miss/defect.

All in all it serves its basic purpose and I will continue buying these Closetmaid products. Just don't expect it to be a piece that will last forever, especialy if you move as often as I do in the military.

This item is nice looking and works for my purposes. The only problem is that I don't remember anything in the information indicating that it "must" be attached to the wall. If I'd known that earlier, I probably wouldn't have bought it. For my purpose it works without the extra stability of the wall. If I had small children, however, I'd want it fastened to the wall so that it wouldn't tip over. The place I had planned on putting it, wouldn't have worked for the wall stabilization. So I think that the wall stabilizer should be mentioned in the overall information, so people are aware before buying.

Product is cheap and made with cheap products. It is about what I expected, thus I have no complaints in that department. My complaint is in the packaging and shipping that, in turn, gave me a damaged product. Oh it is just a few nicks andsince it isn't anything more than storage,I can live with that. But to put an item in a shipping box three times it's size with no packing materials, causing item to shift during transport, is ridiculous. The box it came in was ripped to shreds. I thought ordering it from here would be more convent, as I have never had any problems with Amazon. But I will next time not place a order like this, instead will find something local to purchase.

well, there is a reason these are so cheap compared to everything else on amazon. They are made of low grade particle board. But you'd get the same thing from wal mart. My suggestion to make them last a little longer would be to fill the peg holes on the doors with super or wood glue before sticking the pegs in. Let it sit over night, set the doors and put the top on.

I ordered three of these shelf units. I wasn't sure if it was a good idea. Seemed like too good a price! All other shelves like this were a lot of money. Plus, no other reviews. I took a chance. Glad I did. These are PERFECT for what I am using them for! I needed simple shelving for my craft room. I store all my scrapbook supplies (plus a few nic-nacs) on them. They went together very fast. All you need is a phillips head screwdriver. VERY easy to assemble I did all three myself! When assembling the last shelf unit, I noticed I was missing a part. I contacted the company thru Amazon. Within one hour, I received a response from the company. They said they will ship the right part to me. 3 days later, the right part was waiting at my door!!! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!! Get these....you won't be disappointed!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm glad I took the chance!

I baught this about 6 months ago and never got around to reviewing it. First of all it stands up on its own AGAINST the wall...it does lean...it does NOT stand up by itself not on a good wall...it does not have back legs to hold it up (i knew this but i just wanted to let you all know!) The color i ordered (White) is a very cheap white...it isnt the prettiest color but its fine) The faux wood its made out of is something you would get at a target store...not amazing quality but does do its job. I gave this a 4 star because on the steps its starting to turn grey and looked scratched up! Good buy though! I would deff. rebuy! ****

Based on the pictures and description I thought I was getting a steal for a leaning wall shelf. We received the shelf, it was packaged well however was difficult to assemble as some parts were labeled with the incorrect part number/letter. I managed to get the shelf together, it's easy enough with one person and only took me an hour even with all of the difficulty, however the screws that hold the two tall parts of the shelf together are very visible once the shelf is together. The shelf is a little off white, but our molding is very white so it stood out a little. In a darker room or a little older house you wouldn't notice it's not really white. The shelf was steady and perfect size for what we needed, although it did block both the outlet and light switch in one area so beware. Overall the shelf is great, it just didn't work for what we needed. We ended up selling this one and buying one from Crate and Barrel, although it was double the price it was far more sturdy and there is no hardware showing.
