We first saw this cabinet on Target.com [where it DOES state that assembly is required] and decided to purchase it as a kitchen pantry. We were lucky enough to find it in-store, saving us a small fortune in shipping cost.

It's a beautiful piece, well made, and not all that hard to assemble [2 hours], but it's quite a bit darker than the picture. Still beautiful and very functional.

This cabinet is very nice, but not as tall as the picture makes it look. So that this item finally has some measurements out there, it is 60" H x 16" D x 30" W. It holds a LOT! The stain is not dark so you still see the grain of the wood, but personally I would have preferred it to have been a deeper darker stain. Regardless, it still looks very nice. This item is a little over 100 pounds, so pretty heavy and solid. Also it is a very dense flake board, so not true wood in my eyes, but again it does not look like that once it is fully put together. This item was very easy to put together, but it does take two people in spots and you must make sure to put it together where you want it, because it does not slide well.

I bought this cabinet to store all of my daughter's toys in a way that concealed the clutter of puzzle boxes, games, and stuff like that. I was able to fit EVERYTHING in there plus from extra stuff.

The reason I am giving this item only 4 stars though, is because of all the problems I had with the delivery company YRC Freight. This item is one of those items that requires you to have someone other than the delivery company help carry it into your home. I was told by YRC Freight that this item would be at my house between 10-2pm and that I would get a call 1 hr before delivery. I asked my father who normally takes care of my bed ridden mother to come help with this item, because my husband had to work and I am pregnant and can't unload it myself. 2pm came and went. When I called YRC Freight, at 2pm, I was told that the drive had NO ETA as to when he would be at my house. At 5pm I told my father to go home so he could check on my mom, since the guy would call and give me an hour notice, that would be enough time for my husband to get home at 6pm if he called. 10 minutes after my dad left, the driver called to say he was 5 minutes away!!!! Since the company will not allow the driver to come into my home, I was left with a cabinet sitting on my porch, in the cold, waiting for my husband to get home 45 min. later! The driver was more than 3 1/2 hrs late and in the process of rolling the cabinet up my driveway with a hand truck, he broke the border around my flower bed and all he said was oops!!! I was so frustrated and disappointed! I wasted my whole day and my poor dad's whole day waiting for this thing!

When I complained to Amazon about this, they got back to me almost immediately and refunded me $40 for my trouble. Overall, I am satisfied with the cabinet and the way Amazon handled the poor service on the part of YRC Freight, but I am really hoping that OfficeFurniture.com considers finding a new delivery company.

I would say that people should still order this cabinet, but don't make any plans for delivery day.

My kitchen has very little storage so I ordered this cabinet to keep my pots, pans, baking equipment etc and non-perishable foods.

It arrived via a freight company and it is sidewalk delivery. The carton was extremely heavy so I opened it in the hallway and carried it piece by piece up one flight of stairs. Although it was packaged well, there were a few dings in the doors and shelves.

As the instructions indicate, it is easier to put together with two people. A rubber mallet is needed but I improvised with a regular hammer wrapped in a tea towel. I was able to construct it all by myself in about 3 hours, which included carrying it upstairs and clean up.

I called the manufacturer to let them know about the small damages. They offered to send me two new doors free, but I opted for the repair kit that they sent and was able to disguise the nicks.

I'm extremely happy. It is a very solid piece of furniture and it doesn't look like a DIY at all. And it perfectly matches my oak table and chairs.

It takes a bit to understand how the pieces are to fit but the final product is very nice! I have a friend who has a in-wall bathroom storage cabinet without a mirror similar to this one instead of a typical medicine cabinet. I have always thought it looked so much nicer and more quaint. But I was surprised that I couldn't really find any cabinets like this at local home repair stores. So I turned to Amazon and found this gem. This cabinet arrived in perfect shape, with just the hardware and color I requested. Installed, it looks clean, polished, and adds a really charming look to the bathroom. We have plenty of mirror so needed more storage than anything and I absolutely love this. My husband said it was a little challenging to install only because he had to cut into the studs but I don't think it was that bad. Great product!

The shelves in and of themselves are well built but the person or persons responsable for the instructions either never put one together or just have no idea how to convey how it really needs to be done. What should be a 20 minute job turned into 2 hours of frustration. I took it apart and put it together as it needs to be. I called the company and told them and I have no idea if they changed the instructions.

Lots of storage, great for the garage. Bins fit well and all items are easily identified. I would recommend to anyone needing a little extra organization for a reasonable price.

I am giving this three stars because the directions were poorly illustrated and the shelve inserts required extra fasteners to stay in place.

The instructions were straight forward, but the illustrations were poor and in some sports you couldn't tell exactly where to put each rung. It is important because to get your shelves to look like the one in the product picture you have to know exactly which hole the bolts go in. The instructions do not make this clear. I got it put together, but after several rounds of re-adjusting the shelving brackets.

Also, the shelf insert were only just big enough to fit into the brackets. I ended up zip tying them in place. Otherwise, the shelf would pop off the rails. It works well once you do this.

I love the space it saved and the organization it provides.

Ameriwood Double Door Pantry, 30-Inch Wide

If you need additional no-frills storage for a reasonable price, this is the right cabinet. Roomy with plenty of shelves. Assembly was time consuming (over an hour) but straightforward. Aligning doors takes a while if you are not familiar with adjusting hinges. Material is melamine laminated particle board with cardboard back panel. Prefab design, pre-punched hole locations, etc. make for very good fit and finish. We're happy with it.

I ordered this because Ameriwood products are made in America. However, when the box arrived, it was a Brookshire Creations brand cabinet identical to the advertised cabinet, but it's made in Canada. Granted, that's better than Chinese garbage, but I bought & paid for an American made product. Due to the brand difference, the cherry finish does not match my Ameriwood wardrobe. I'm leaving a positive review of the product itself... it was of fine quality, and easy to assemble. I'm just irritated that I didn't receive what the description indicated. Buyer be warned.

Now that the rant is over, on to the review:

The unit is made of a plywood like composite, much better than particle board. The hinge mounting locations are very sturdy, recessed deeply into the wood. The doors were easy to install & adjust by a single person... easier than my Ameriwood wardrobe, I'm sad to say. When I first attached them, there was a 1/2" gap between them, but with a little adjustment to the hinges, I got it down to 1/16"... perfect. The bottom shelf can hold 50 pounds, the permanent shelves can hold 35 pounds, and the 2 adjustable shelves can hold 30 pounds. The veneer is very nice, where it wasn't scratched & gouged from substandard packaging. Fortunately, all the really bad scratches & gouges were on the inside or very bottom. Assembly took me around 90 minutes from opening the package to tightening the last hinge screw.

All in all, if American made doesn't matter to you above all else, this is a fine unit that will serve you well for years to come.

It took a long time to put together, which would be fine if the end product was what was pictured. We couldn't get the doors to meet not matter how much adjusting we did with the hinges. It's a silly looking cabinet in our kitchen with a pretty noticeable gap running down the center. I like the size of the cabinet so it meets my storage needs, but if it wasn't so hard to return, I don't think I would've kept it.

Package arrived beat up. Scratches and chips on the finish. Broken footer board. We fixed it because we didn't want to mess with it to send it back. But, give me a break. The supplier must have bought this product from the bottom of a clearance pile.

ClosetMaid 2-Door Laminate Stacker Organizer

We do love the closetmaid stackable units, but the doors on this unit are not supported well. Within 1-2 weeks both doors had fallen off from use. Now these are in my 3 year old sons room, so he might not be gentle when opening them, but they shouldn't have broken that quickly. The unit itself is fine though. We have bought two more of these since then, but we didn't install the doors. Works fine as a open bookshelf.

This is not a bad item but you get what you pay for. I'm living in Germany right now and storage is lack-thereof here. I purchased these in a local store and it works well for what I need it for (as an extra pantry). I plan to buy another since they are stackable.

The only real downsides for me were that the laminate can become easily chipped. As I was putting it together a small corner was already broken off and another piece went as I was joining boards. Both managed to be in places that are hideable. Also the holes for the magnetic pieces were not drilled in the doors. Don't know if this is how they come or if it was a factory line miss/defect.

All in all it serves its basic purpose and I will continue buying these Closetmaid products. Just don't expect it to be a piece that will last forever, especialy if you move as often as I do in the military.

This item is nice looking and works for my purposes. The only problem is that I don't remember anything in the information indicating that it "must" be attached to the wall. If I'd known that earlier, I probably wouldn't have bought it. For my purpose it works without the extra stability of the wall. If I had small children, however, I'd want it fastened to the wall so that it wouldn't tip over. The place I had planned on putting it, wouldn't have worked for the wall stabilization. So I think that the wall stabilizer should be mentioned in the overall information, so people are aware before buying.

Product is cheap and made with cheap products. It is about what I expected, thus I have no complaints in that department. My complaint is in the packaging and shipping that, in turn, gave me a damaged product. Oh it is just a few nicks andsince it isn't anything more than storage,I can live with that. But to put an item in a shipping box three times it's size with no packing materials, causing item to shift during transport, is ridiculous. The box it came in was ripped to shreds. I thought ordering it from here would be more convent, as I have never had any problems with Amazon. But I will next time not place a order like this, instead will find something local to purchase.

well, there is a reason these are so cheap compared to everything else on amazon. They are made of low grade particle board. But you'd get the same thing from wal mart. My suggestion to make them last a little longer would be to fill the peg holes on the doors with super or wood glue before sticking the pegs in. Let it sit over night, set the doors and put the top on.

We bought this table as a kitchen workspace for a side business I run making chocolates. It is sturdy and provides a nice work space. The bottom shelf can be adjusted to whatever height you like, but it helps to have two people and a level to get it set up initially.

Mine arrived with several cosmetic defects, mostly bent, dented, or scuffed corners, but that doesn't effect the table's usefulness. Easy to wipe down. Nice size for my needs. I think it may be bowed a bit, dippin in the center, but it works fine for my purposes.

Organize It All Storage Wardrobe

I am so glad I found this rolling garment rack. This is the second one I have purchased and I had a hard time finding it the second time around. I have owned 2 other garment racks that were purchased at local discounts stores--they were flimsy and could barely hold 15 pieces of clothing before beginning to lean to one side. I had to lean them against the wall to keep them from falling over. This garment rack is pricey, but it really is like a closet. I have a lot of clothes and only room in my closet for one season at a time. This garment rack holds all of my winter jackets and heavy sweaters. There are 2 shelves at the bottom and I have folded stacks of sweatshirts on those. It is very sturdy, rolls around easily and is completely covered--and the cover zips closed. I would highly recommend this to anyone who needs more closet space. I keep it in my basement. It's a much more economical solution than having someone install closets in my basement.

I was hesitant to buy a "portable closet" online knowing how flimsy most of them can be, but this was a great buy. Not only was the frame very sturdy, but it holds a lot more than expected. It is worth it to spend a little extra, and get something that isn't going to topple over or collapse. I gave it 4 stars instead if 5 because the zipper was damaged, and I am unable to zip it to the top, and the plastic rings were a bit of a pain when assembling.

I waited a few months after purchase to write my review & the product is still holding strong! After going through numberous storage armoires which were not as sturdy as advertised, often leaning, tipping & flat out breaking i am amazed with the sturdiness of this product. I purchased it to hold off season & not often worn clothes like my winter jackets & his Military issued jackets. Not once when hanging clothes did it feel like i was putting to many on the racks or did it wabble. As a woman i had no problems putting it together. The directions that it comes with states to put the shelf on the bottom but i liked how it was advertised with the shelf on top so i set it up that way. Only one minor set back for me but would not apply to all that are looking to purchase this. I put it in a shed, in FL, so i would have liked the canvas to go around the armoire as a whole, bottom and all. The canvas is also a sturdy material but with the bottom being open it was out to the store for month balls & cedar chips for me. Still way better than the ones i had to tether to the shed wall! I highly recommend it!

Great item very sturdy my only complaint is lack of detailed instructions. They just have pictures so you can figure it out. Just remember the black snapes that go around the bars should be placed exactly the way the arrows point and make sure you push the shelves down over clamps to make shelves stable.

Even though this product had pretty high reviews, I was kind of skeptical on buying it simply because Ive never bought anything this big online and could not find any closet like this in the stores. However, I was not willing to keep my clothes on the side of my bed just waiting to be hanged up, so I had to buy this.

Boy was I wrong to doubt this product. The material is very sturdy and I like that it came with three racks. The bottom is used for pants. The top second is used for pashminas. And the very top is used for anything really (although I plan to keep that clutter free since it will be showing) . And the rack is used for dresses and skirts (seems to be holding up great)

The canvas fits nicely and also seems to be quite durable.

The only thing I am not very fond of is the zipper. I think I would have preferred buttons.its sometimes a nuisance having to get down and trying to zip it up. Other than that, it's still a very useful closet.

This is a great storage cabinet! I looked around quite a bit before deciding on this one. It was definately the cheapest of all I looked at and I think the best looking. It's totally cute and very functional. It's a cinch to put together comes with very clear instructions and no tools are needed. When it's empty it isn't very heavy and can easily be moved. The 4 shelves are adjustable to different heights as well.
