WE Furniture Multi-Level Component Stand, Cherry/Black

I needed a component stand under 36" high and this is exactly what I wanted.

The style is very sleek, the brown legs and black tempered glass match my decor perfectly, and it is the right size. Almost every component stand I looked at was over 40" tall and they were just too big.

This was easy to assemble, I put it together by myself in about 30 minutes, and it's very sturdy. I love it, it was the best component stand I could find for the price and I couldn't be happier with it.

This stand was delivered very fast and it was not missing parts or all beat up. It was very easy to put together. Looks GREAT! We also bought the matching cherry/black 60" tv stand with mount. We are very happy with this purchase and love the quality with the great price. Only neg is you HAVE to clean it like twice a day with Windex.... the black glass shows dust very easily. Though, I am a very picky about things being dusty. haha.

I ordered this because I wanted a more contemporary tv/media stand for a small space. I have to say I couldn't have chosen better! It looks so much better in person than in the photo! It looks contemporary yet classy. It is very sturdy absolutely no wobbling and as another reviewer said the legs are real wood, not veneer. I was a little worried that the espresso color would be too dark, but it's quite lovely and has some vague red tones, almost like a mahogany even came with a touch-up pen. I could not be more pleased, especially for only $155! I highly recommend this product.

I absolutely love the look and stability of this item, the wood and black glass make for a simple and elegant look. Assembly is straight forward and easy to me. I would recommend this for anyone that is looking for a component shelving system that is classy and doesn't take up much space. Also I had to search for a while to find a shelving system that would hold the large dimensioned cable box from comcast, this does it nicely along with blu ray player, yamaha receiver, (xbox wii cable modem and wifi) are all on bottom shelf, I also have plenty of room to place a roku that I will be getting soon.

I just have a bluray, DVR and receiver on the shelves, and this stand is sheik and perfect in my living room. Matches my end tables very well. I've also got my router, Roku and Logitech Harmony stand on top of it, and it still manages to look very clean. The perforated back panel allowed me to mount my cable modem hidden out of view. Using some Techflex split tubing keeps everything neatly tucked. Only downside is the shelves aren't adjustable height.

Now that it is put together, i am satisfied (almost) with a nice big stand for a good price. I am leery of laminate but overall was well done. top piece has laminate wrapped all around the corners as one piece which I like so hopefully the corners won't come apart eventually like some other laminate furniture I've seen. a few tiny dings here or there but nothing a brown marker couldn't fix. Not perfect but good enough. drawer glides nicely and bottom of drawer is thin but will be fine for a few wiimotes etc.

I wasn't especially impressed with the packing job as all the little pieces of wood were just loose including the metal drawer glides and whole thing was just padded with thin sheets of styrofoam, nothing wrapped in plastic at all. plenty of hardware though and that was bagged.

WORST part were the directions. Half sheet of paper, one side with four pictures. thats it. No labels on anything, no instruction on what size screws go where... If you're not very good at putting things together and figuring it out on your own, don't get this piece. Boards are held together by a combo of dowel pegs and camlocks. On mine, after I had the whole thing put together in the order they indicated from the FOUR pictures and had used the camlocks on the bottom in the predrilled holes...there seemed to be no way to lock on the top and it seemed they predrilled the holes for drawer glides on the wrong end of the board so i had to perfectly re measure and redrill those as well. overall took me 4 hours. i'm very precise so it turned out fine for me (almost) but still a pain. after it was all done, I kept thinking about those few items that didn't make sense and have come to the conclusion that the camlocks were to lock on the TOP and then use screws on the bottom from the underneath! maybe I missed a clue in the "directions" and so I redrilled the holes for nothing and its all together wrong though no one would really know, it will just annoy me forever. the little silver feet were a mystery also with no instructions...the black caps on them pop off to allow screwing them onto the bottom. i liked it better with them off anyway.

I liked the glass doors for keeping dust out of electronics and they roll on plastic wheels in a plastic lined groove on the bottom so that was engineered nicely. the two glass pieces were shipped in a separate box. overall four stars for a laminate piece of furniture but two or less if you require good detailed instructions. Had I had just two or three critical pieces of info that I left in my own review, would be liking it better...hope this helps the next buyer! Tip: use the longest screws on the bottom board to secure it to the vertical boards, medium screws for the drawer assembly and securing the shelf above the drawer, then the short ones for everything else.

This is a very good looking stand especially for those looking for a wider stand as most come in 60".

It comes together fairly nicely assuming you can figure it out. The directions only show four steps, so needless to say they were very poor and inadequate. But if you've put together any ikea type furniture it shouldn't be too difficult. It did take me about 2 hours to get everything put together.

The drawer assembly and hardware aren't very good. The drawer looks good but it's very difficult to get it aligned. Definitely say its more for looks than function.

Don't use all the little brad nails on the backing to the main unit. You will need some of the nails for the bottom of the drawer.

If you want to put electronics on the side, there aren't any pass through holes in the backing. I first thought to cut new holes in the backing on the sides but figured out you can pass the wires through the center hole and push them in front of the backing on the inside going to the sides.

I like the stand now that I figured out how to assemble it, product came with now instructions. I'm glad I have common sense otherwise this would have been impossible to assemble. But it looks nice

Pearl Bookcase

Here is the good: once put together, they're sturdy and perform their function well. They look nice.

The bad: the shelves are not solid wood, they're fiberboard with walnut veneer. The screw holes in one of the pieces weren't properly aligned and I can't put it together until I get the replacement part. How do they get away charging $1000 for this? Its not real wood, it only looks real. Its cheap. I won't consider anything else by this company, Modloft, because they make poor quality products in my opinion.

I've purchased stuff from CB2 and its solid wood. Maybe its too heavy to use for bookshelves?

IKEA's products are constructed with better quality than this, in my opinion. Screw holes aren't even aligned right and fiber pulp gets everywhere. Not sawdust, fiber pulp.

Mount Intersecting Wall Shelf

The unique design appealed perfectly to my living room wall. I used it horizontally instead of vertically, and it looks just as good. The mounting tools couldve been a little better than they were, but I made it work.

Winsome Whitman Square Accent Table

I purchased this item twice and both times, the corners were damaged due to small packaging and flimsy protection foam. This is a very nice table once together if. Would purchase if i had a guarantee that it will not be damaged.

I ordered this item and it is a beautiful table but the packing is so poor that I've return this table twice due to damaged corners. Even the delivery guy agreed that the packing materials were not sufficient to keep this table from getting damaged. The company who manufactures this table needs to rethink the packing materials and the strength of the box. Save yourself the hassel and disappointment...find another table to buy.

The table was pretty and I was really excited to set it up. However, the corners on both the end table and the coffee table were crushed in. :( Thank goodness for the online returns center so I can just get a replacement. However, I am really dissappointed that the tables came damaged. If you are in a hurry and want to get this in one order, beware!!

Parsons Bookcase

I personally picked this bookcase out for the dimensions considering it was wider and had a larger depth. It's so big, I have plenty of space to put everything and more on it. I'm all to eager to fill it with tasteful decor. Putting it together was self-explanatory and it took only a few minutes. Recommend it full heartedly. Though the price was up there, it makes sense why. You pay exactly what you get for. =3

The description notes a 500 album capacity. They must have removed all the jackets to squeeze 500 albums in that space. While it appears to be sturdy, the outside finish is one of the most unappealing of any product I have ever purchased. Oh, I was able to fit 416 records in that rack.

I would not purchase this product from this company again. From a distance, it looks nice, but there are a lot of ugly small defects that are noticeable within a few feet. There was a bump on the front edge of a panel, and there were multiple places where the veneer had been patched with a sloppy, un-matching piece.

Without these defects, the piece has a nice shape and is sturdy, and I would have given it four stars. But I don't care to pay >$150 for a piece of furniture with patches of veneer stuck all over the sides. That's the kind of thing I'd expect to see from a used piece in a yard sale, not a new piece directly from the company.

the storage unit arrived in good condition from the seller, musician's friend. all of the pieces were included. the instructions are a little vague but if you have any common sense you should be able to put it together in about 20 minutes. it is sturdy and solid. the only thing i don't like about it is that your record collection will be sitting on two bars that go across and serve as shelves. i ended up taking a piece lumber that was 1/2 inch thick and 14 inches wide and cutting it to place on top of the bars to serve as shelves. if you don't own a circular saw you can by from a major hardware store (i.e. home depot or lowes) and they'll cut the wood for you.

i would rate this five stars if it had solid shelves instead of two metal bars.

This thing is ugly but it's what I expected from the product photo (I bought the walnut/brown model). However, the veneer is poorly applied and shows all kinds of defects (bubbling and peeling). It also holds fewer than 500 albums maybe more like 475.

The assembly is easy but would have been a lot easier if the instructions were written with slightly more care. A few more words of text and a couple of marks on the diagram would have made a LOT of difference.

I'm giving it 3 stars because it's hard to find LP storage products and this is very good, functionally speaking. But don't buy this if you care how it looks because returning it would be a nightmare due to its weight.

Despite being double boxed, one of our side panels came with a big crack that went almost all the way through the thickness of the panel. It didn't look like it was going to affect the stability of the unit, so my husband opted not to return it.

The plastic covering the pins is very easy to rip off so you must be delicate with construction

The finish looks like cheap veneer. It's too bad more people don't collect vinyl or I suspect there would be much better options for the price. I don't think it would be that much more expensive to offer a cabinet just like this made out of wood rather than plastic and particle board.

I had two of this shelfs. First one came with missing parts, but i still put it together and hang it on the wall. After about a year all pieces start to rust. I decide to replace it with new. After I put all the shelf together I realize that mounting screws, plastic anchores and special tubes separeting shelf from the wall are missing. Just great. I got shelf but I can not hang it without trip to Home Depot. If you need some shelf for a year or so and you ready to improvise while you will try to put that shelf on the wall, then you should order it.

This dual shelf plus towel rack is the perfect size and has an elegance about it. It's functional and adds a nice design to a small bathroom. It may rust some in the future, but it's worth it while it lasts.

I like the general look of this product and the box I received it in included all the parts. It's mostly made of steel, with glass shelves. The only plastic parts are the caps. It comes disassembled and requires that you put all the parts together, which wasn't really difficult. My complaint, however, is that when the corners of the shelves were welded at the factory, it wasn't done with sufficient care to insure that the unit looks perfectly straight when assembled. There's really no way of making it look perfect, and the slight crookedness even appears in the picture in this ad. Look at the back left vertical bar. Notice how it's cocked toward the bottom?

Very pretty but was annoyed to find a part missing. Had to contact seller by phone and was told it would take a week to receive replacement.

Assembly was fairly straight forward. I was a little concerned that the welded on nuts in the poles would break during tightening but they held. Just make sure you are tightening all of the screws to an equal depth so the shelf stays level. It's been up about 6 weeks and looks as good as new. No rust so far as opposed to some of the inepensive chrome shelves that start discoloring within a few weeks..

Blind Corner (Magic Corner) Pull Out - Right and Left Hand

Although this blind corner unit is well built and is doing exactly what it is suppose to do, I would not purchase this again. If you calculate the amount of shelf space available on all four sections you will find that you can actually get more space by blocking the "blind" corner and making a straight square cabinet. I could have put two pull out drawer slides that uses the whole space left after blocking the corner and would have ended up with more useable shelf space. I read this online and didn't believe it so I did the math and it was right. Because this is designed to fit most cabinets, the shelves are smaller than they have to be and this costs you on shelf space. I gave this 3 stars since there is nothing wrong with the product and I'm going to keep it now that it is installed, but if you are looking at maximizing shelf space, do the math first.

This shelving unit is even prettier in person. I had no trouble putting it together. The directions say it takes two people but I (a 48 year old woman with no mechanical skills) put it together by myself with no problem. Love it, love it, love it!!

I bought 3 of these shelves. I love them because they take up very little space and I am able to display my figuerines and special pieces.

Sonax RX-3500 Rio 35-Inch Midnight Black TV Stand with Two Glass Shelves

I was looking for a specific size in a TV stand for my 40" Samsung LED TV. This stand fits perfectly for my needs. It also gives a good height to my TV (good viewing angle). The shelves provide good space for my media components (they look like would fit most of the A/V receivers). It's made of the boards that are not too thick, but overall construction is sturdy enough for most mid-size flat screen TVs. Also, black finish blends very well with most of the TVs on the market (since most of them are black).
