Small Shelf Divider by Spectrum

I received one divider when expecting a pair.

The picture of the product shows two sides and I bought the product without reading the details carefully.

While I blame myself, I find the picture misleading.

I use these for mainly heavier clothing. I have the longer version as well that I use with shirts. But for shorts and pants I use these.

Before I had everything stacked on an open shelf. The problem is the stacks whould easily fall over and everything was a mess. Then I got these and everything is now way more organized and the stacks stay separated.

I use these on my wire shelving in my closet to separate my different folded shirts. They are easy to install and work well. Others thought they were flimsy, but I thought they are just fine. Remember to compress them together before installing so the tension holds them in place. Good product, shipped quickly.

This product is amazing! I bough it to hold a few purses. I found it to be very stable, and easy to attach to my wire shelves. The "instructions" aren't the best, but it's easy to figure out.

This sliding organizer is just what we needed to make good use of our bathroom cabinet space. Originally, I didn't want to use roll-out organizers because I thought we would lose storage space; but now I realize that filling the space does not necessarily keep it organized. The organizer keeps frequently used items at our fingertips and keeps the counter tops clutter free. The roll out is sturdy and easy to install with an electric drill. My husband did make a couple of wrong holes, but ultimately installed it in the perfect spot. It is pricier than the plastic roll outs, but it is very sturdy and should be maintenance and rust free.

I can't comment on the installation since it was installed by my contractor during the kitchen renovation, but it's a very sturdy piece with soft smooth glides.

We had just had our bathrooms redone and needed something that would fit into the door space of the cabinet to give us organized and easily reachable items. This product is awesome. It is narrow enough to fit into the smallest door and pulls out so bending and stretching for items is no longer needed. I will buy this product again and recommend it to others.

Woodland Products AE36W Architectural Elements 36-Inch Shelf, White Finish

I ordered two of these sheves and they were a big disappointment. When they finally arrived from Stacks and Stacks, one was damaged. The worst part is I could not get any response or satisfaction from the seller to return these shelves and get a refund. Thankfully, Amazon is handling my claim because the seller will not contact me. Amazon has been wonderful to deal with.

I bought this because I didn't want brackets to show. The shelf itself is nice, but the "hidden" bracket that comes with this shelf is so cheaply made that the shelf does attach sit level on the wall. The welding is sloppy and the shelf tilts downward at about a 55 degree angle. To get the shelf level, I had to add support brackets under it.

Please don't waste your money on these shelves. They are so cheaply constructed, I was speechless when I opened the box. I bought these for one of my kids rooms but would have been embarassed to leave them up. The brackets don't allow the shelf to sit flush with the wall and the material is so flimsy that a paper towel would give it a run for it's money. Both of ours arrived damaged from the factory and it was a pain in the rear to get our money back. Took over a month of emails back and forth with the shipper before we were credited back what we paid. If the materials were higher quality and there was some way to mount these flush with the wall like they're supposed to be, I'd put them in every room of my house. As it was, I donated ours to Goodwill. Good luck to the poor soul who buys them.

This is a good shelf, and the mounting bracket has various holes so you can find a stud to attach to. Of course, like all floating shelves, it's not built for a lot of weight.

Let me say first that I would have happily paid more for a nicer product, but I couldn't find one of sufficient narrowness for the spot between the TV and the corner. This product is flawed but it works. First, it's a little bit unstable, but it does come with tools to screw it into the wall behind it if you want. Second, it's not that easy to put together. Plastic, unrivited plastic "feet" securing bolts get screwed on with a custom tool they included if they'd made these small parts of metal it would have added maybe 20 cents to the cost to the manufacturer, and made set up much easier and stronger. 2nd, while it looks like the sides are 1 piece, they are actually 2 pieces, screwed together. This is done to reduce shipping cost due to the size, but it also makes the product less stable, and the screws and bolts that hold the 2 pieces together are both quite small, and you need the shortest screwdriver in the world to fit over the screw, cause there's a bar just 3 inches above it and you can't get a good screwdriver twist when you have to come in at an angle. The bolts are also small and hard to grip with pliers, so I tightened mine by hand as best I could.

The shelves also are not as "gripping" as they should be for this kind of snap together in place design and they shelf floors are prone to things falling through them cause there's too much open space for a "floor"

It sounds like I'm trashing this product, but based on the price, I think they're making no claims that this is quality. What it is, is functional and to me, it's worth the money cause I finally have a rack that holds all my DVDs, in a fairly attractive way in a small space next to the TV. It works for me cause it's just the right size, but I think the people who call this a "piece of junk" have a point too. I wouldn't give this as a present to somebody unless I disliked them. ;-)

3.5 stars for the product because it basically works and because I'm happy to have it. 1.5 stars for the manufacturer sometimes spending a bit more money on better, more sturdy and easier to set up design is the way to go. Dirt Cheapest possible isn't always best.

I bought this after looking at a lot of other dvd/media racks on Amazon.

This one was chosen for a combination of price (not crazy expensive) and minimal footprint (it is for a bedroom). It fit the bill in both ways.

Set up was fairly easy. My boyfriend thankfully spared me of this but he said he had it put together fairly quickly and did not find anything confusing about the instructions.

Overall we are very satisfied with this product. I would, from a design standpoint, have liked to have something more robust, like a wooden media cabinet, but our space constrictions prohibit that. This rack takes up a very small amount of floor space, which is very important for us as we live with roommates, so our bedroom space needs to be maximized.

Very pleased!

***UPDATE*** It has been 3 months since I bought this and it still holding up just fine! DVDs are taken & put back from it on a daily basis and it is showing no signs of wear. Still very pleased!

Construction is flimsy and the towers have to be anchored to the wall to stabilize them. CD's and BluRay's fit fine, but regular DVD's have to be stored horizontally, however you can remove every other shelf to add vertical height, which cuts down on the amount of storage space. These are not what I expected and will go into my next yard sale.

The media folding rack holds less DVDS then I expected. I had to go out and buy a second media tower to fit the rest of my dvds. I would not recommend this to my friends especially if they have a large collection.

Love the quality of this item. I actually ordered them for use in a bathroom and they are perfect. They are the perfect size and of a strong / sturdy construction, as well as easy to put together (my 12 year old daughter assembled them)!

I love this cute shelf. It is well made and can hold a lot of small items that might otherwise clutter your countertop. I use it to hold my teapot and tea related collection. I posted photos of both and hope that provides usable information. Rectangular shelf is 17 1/2" long, 18 1/2" high with legs on and 9 1/2" deep. Marble Ivory Contact Paper Adhesive Liner

I cannot describe the disappointment I felt when I received this product. I expected a few differences between the picture and the product, but the only way I can see this being the same product is if someone took a picture with a very bright flash. This is an almost greenish gray with specks of ivory in it. The quality of the contact paper is normal, so for the price, this is definitely overpriced. I bought this for the counters in a rental house that my husband and I are renting, and it just did not have the clean, sleek look that I expected from the picture. The only reason that I gave it a 2 instead of a 1 is that I did find a way to make it work. Even though the actual print looks like a cheap photocopy of marble, the veins did make a great outline for "fixing" it. I painted over the surface with some watered down, white acrylic paint, and then used different shades of gray and followed the vein lines, then when over with a very thin layer of clear epoxy resin. But considering I bought the paper to save myself that type of work, I'm not happy with the purchase. A picture update is definitely needed.

I bought some like these from Lowe's for roughly the same price price. But, they didn't offer drawers to fit shelves this deep. So, I bought these. The only problem that I have with these is that they don't extend 100% as the ones from Lowe's do. They extend about 50%. It's good enough to keep, but barely. If you can find some that pull out further, I'd recommend those.

I am satisfied with the build quality. I suspect installation is as easy as any shelf. I think it took about 30 minutes per shelf. Any shelf system like this is going to require awkward positions inside the cabinets.

There's a trade off though with this type of roll out solution. You lose some shelf space both vertically as well as horizontally. In the end though, I think the trade off is worth it because even though the total cubic feet are reduced, you gain "usable" area.

This drawer is very well made and slides easily. However, the stated height of 4" is misleading. In fact, the top rail of the drawer is really 4-3/8" above the shelf it's installed on. That may make no difference for most uses, but I bought this for my sink cabinet and the extra 3/8" makes the rack hit the drain pipe, thus making the drawer impossible to use. Disappointing, since it's exactly what I needed.

I received my Link Professional 14 by 21 by 4-inch Roll out Chrome Cabinet Drawer on Friday and installed it on Saturday by myself. I am a 64 year old Grandma and not particularly handy, especially when deep inside a base cabinet. However, this installation went very smoothly and the drawer is extremely sturdy. I decided to put my heavy pyrexware pieces on it because they are so heavy to shift around when stacking. With this I can use the entire shelf space and get to them easily.

Now I want to get more so I can organize all my base cabinets. Buy these, you can't go wrong for ease of installation, strength and full usage of the shelf space.

This was fairly easy to install with hand tools (and I'm a "little old lady"): a Phillips screwdriver, plus a hammer and nail to make starter holes for the four wood screws. The instructions were clear and simple. The included alignment guide made measuring unnecessary and was very helpful. The shelf glides easily and pulls out as far as I would want. When the drawer is fully extended, items in the back of the drawer end up at the front edge of the cabinet, where they would be if stored in the cabinet front. You do lose a bit of height; one tall carton had to move to another cabinet. Extra screws were included; to me that's a sign of a good product.

Whitmor 6058-90 Supreme Garment Rack, Chrome

I bought this rack to hold my clothes during a move from one state to another. Included in this purchase was the advertised canvas cover.

The rack is made of sturdy materials and survived the trip in a UHaul truck without incident. It rolls fine when loaded to the gills and the bottom rack was useful for shoes.

With the cover on, the top rack is pretty much useless for storage because the cover slides down and rest on that rack. Any items you want to store on top would be resting on the cover itself.

One thing to be aware of: The rack is held together only by friction and gravity. The two racks slip over the four poles and are held in place only by their weight; no screws or bolts secure them.

This means that the unit cannot be lifted by the racks, otherwise, the entire thing falls apart. They can be safely lifted by the poles and this will keep everything together. While this design sounds flimsy, it really is pretty strong once assembled correctly.

The only reason I did not give this item 5 stars was because of the poorly written instructions. As usual, these were written by blind individuals who speak no known language. Consequently, you are left to figure out how the parts assemble correctly. Even a simple thing such as which way the racks fit; with their edges up or down? The picture certainly doesn't make that clear. This is crucial because the corner tubes of the rack are tapered slightly (not obvious at first glance) which locks the unit together.

REMEMBER THIS: the plastic inserts that fit into the four corners of the racks are also tapered tubes; their sides are NOT parallel. It is this taper that allows the racks to compress against the four poles and lock the pieces in place. This important fact was overlooked in my set of instructions, but is perhaps the most important point to understand.

The cover, also well made but with one major cost-cutting flaw. It uses buttons to secure the front opening instead of a zipper. Consequently, it's not dust proof since it hangs open between the widely spaced buttons.

This garment rack costs a little more than most. However, it is worth it. The full rectangular shape adds extra sturdiness.

A few notes that may save others' time:

1. It definitely takes two people to put this rack together.

2. Instructions are somewhat lacking with respect to the plastic fasteners: they fail to point out that on each fastener there is a "top". Once you realize that the top is slightly wider than the bottom two pieces, the work goes smoothly.

Because the instructions were not clear I had to call customer service which turned out to be a most helpful and painless experience!

This rack is easy to assemble and very sturdy. I thought I might have to put an X support on the ends, but it's fine without it. I'm using it for photography costumes and props. It holds a LOT! Be sure to get the cover too. It helps to keep things clean.

I have a few smaller Whitmor chrome racks in the basement that have held up and served their purpose well so when I purchased the garment rack I knew that I could trust the name. If you feel that this rack is a bit expensive, I'd say that the extra price is justified. They seem to make quality products.

The rack is about 3 feet wide and just under 6 feet tall. The two shelves appear to support a good deal of weight I've put 50 pounds on each without seeing much bowing. It does wobble a bit when pushed but it's nothing I'm concerned about. When filled with clothes it's sturdy and rolls well.

If you're putting this together yourself, it will be a bit tricky. The poles are just under 6 feet tall and you've got to somehow balance all four of them while sliding the shelves down each one if you follow the provided directions. I discovered a couple things while assembling it that might help if you're going to attempt it yourself:

1. Keep in mind (I didn't realize this and the directions were a bit foggy) that the black plastic clips that attach to the 4 poles have to go on in a certain direction. Each clip is labeled with a "TOP" to aim towards the sky. That will make sliding the shelves on them less of a struggle.

2. Likewise, the shelves themselves also have a top and bottom, something the directions also didn't make clear. The lip of the shelf must face DOWN for the shelf to slide on to the clips the best. I figured the lip went up, and found myself wanting to hammer the shelf on to the clips. Flipping the shelf around and sliding it on to the clips with the lip down made life much easier.

3. Each pole is two pieces that are screwed together in step one to make four long poles. Putting this together myself, I found that skipping this step and putting the bottom shelf on the smaller four poles and THEN creating the longer poles by screwing them together made assembly much easier for one person.

Overall this is a great solution for overflow from any closet.

Monarch Specialties Cappuccino Finish Hall Console Accent Table

Overall we're pretty happy with this piece of furniture. It takes a bit to put it together as it's a bit more involved than others. There are 3 wood dowels and some wood glue that you have to use to assemble. Overall the quality is good and it looks good assembled. I'd estimate the time to assemble at about 30 minutes give or take. It may have taken me a few minutes longer because my two year old son decided to "help" me. lol

Overall I'm impressed with it. I'll post up some pictures of the tools/hardware and the table assembled.

Love it.... looks great in my room. Shelf is not very deep so you won't be able to put dvd player on there...maybe a nice vase or two
