This bookcase looks nice if complete. It would have taken me less than 20 minutes to assemble, but the middle shelf was not the right size or the predrilled holes were off not allowing the back panels to slide into place.

It was most likely just the product I received. But what do you expect for under $100?

Went together fairly easy. Was pleased with heavy duty. Instructions fairly understandable. Good looking unit. Why do I have to put six more words?

Axis Over the Cabinet X5 Basket

I'm a renter and anything that helps me keep my kitchen organized without drilling holes in my landlord's cabnets is a hit. Plus they are well made and look nice (as nice as anything can look inside a cabnet.)

I've been using them to hold my tupperware lids. Eventually I plan to get a couple more for my overflowing container collection.

i like this very much except for one drawback. had it been hanging lower than it actually is, with longer handles, it would have fit my bigger ziplock bags.. now it only fits the smaller ones...

I was planning on using this in the cupboard under the sink, along with the matching trash basket. Well, the baskets (all of them) are too high up (too close to the hooks) to be able to fit. Not sure where the makers intended this to be used, but none of them can be used in a sink-cupborad. BIG let-down.

I bought it to my bathroom because the bathtub has very narrow edges and hence no space for lodging shampoo and conditioner bottles and the like. The bathtub has a small handrail, and that's exactly where I hung this basket. It is the perfect size for 1 liter shampoo and conditioner bottles, and there is extra space I can fill with other stuff. It is narrow enough so that it doesn't stand in the way while showering (I knew that beforehand because all the dimensions are reported by the seller).

Shipping was superfast, I am very pleased with this purchase.

I got this and saw it was made of particle board, so I sent it back. If you want cheap junk, buy this. Just know what you are getting. They try to use fancy words like "Engineered Wood," but make no mistake that what you will get is particle board with a black plastic coating. That's not what I wanted, so I sent it back. Also, a particle board tv stand has no business costing $230.

I read the reviews on this great-looking TV stand before I ordered it, and was aware that it was made from particle board, but I bought it anyway hoping that my experience would be more in line with the positive reviews. The heavily-braced box arrived today with no signs of distress to the packaging. I began assembly with extreme care, using hand tools to tighten the screws lest I strip anything, but the first time I picked up the perforated back board the vertical piece with holes in it for cords to pass through it simply snapped into two pieces. It broke across one of the hole cutouts, into two pieces. Imagine my dismay, assembling this stand at 11 PM on Dec 23rd, after having junked our old stand in today's trash. I'll ask the manufacturer for another piece to replace this one, but I'm quite leery about placing a $1000 flat panel on top of this incredibly cheap stand. Don't let the $269 price and nifty appearance fool you, this unit is probably worth about one-fifth of that. The lacquer finish is also partially delaminated and peeling away from the main back board, just icing on the cake!

While the Sonax stand looks very nice, we quickly discovered a huge drawback. We have a Vizio tv and cannot access the av plugs on the back of the tv once it is mounted. This means we cannot switch the cables to use a different video game system (have the Wii set up, but our daughter has a Smart Cycle and V-Smile game system) without removing the tv. HUGE hassle and so disappointing.

Another reviewer noted the lack of cable organization, which is also a drawback.

I normally like fully enclosed type TV stands but in this case I wanted to put it in a corner and save space so I bought this one. It took me about 2 hours to put it together and mount the TV. It all went together fairly easily but some of the pictorials could have been better. There is almost no verbiage in the directions, just all pictorials. There is at least one pictorial that should have been separated into two for clarity. The pictorials for mounting the brackets to the TV are lacking detail as well. Another con is that there is no wire management hole on the very bottom wood shelf. There was a small chip in the black laminate on a visible part of the inside frame on mine when I received it but I touched it up with a black felt pen and it looks fine.

Now that I have it all set up, it looks great. There were no missing parts. I still really don't like how the back is exposed so that I can see my white wall to the left and right of the center wire management board. I may staple some black felt on the backside to cover this but I haven't decided yet. Overall, the stand is of good quality. The assembly directions were not terrible but not great. All the parts were there for the build of the pedestal with one extra roller for the swivel base. They included plenty of different size screws, spacers, and washer to mount any TV! You will have extra TV mounting parts! And last but not least, the TV height is adjustable depending on what holes you use to mount it, plus or minus 5 inches.

I struggled with rating this with 4 stars. I would rate this with a 3.5 star rating if I could but rated it 4 stars as I don't think it deserves a lower 3 star rating.

I searched EVERY where for a wall magazine rack for our very humid bathroom that would not only eliminate the clutter from magazines being strewn about counters, baskets & YES, the floor! I wanted it to look good, be rust resistant & NOT dust collecter!

This is just the ticket! It's a heavy well made powdered silver colored metal, that doesn't even show at all when the magazines are on it. It appears as rust won't be aproblem. I will update this review IF I experience a problem later on down the road!

It holds 12 magazines, looks Unique, like the magazines are just floating off of the wall! Everyone likes it, you can even alter the theme/decor of the room by changing the magazines (covers) around & varying the sequence of their placement on the rack!

It was very simple to install, it takes only 4 screws & comes with wall anchors if needed! I only had to get a phillip's head screwdriver, tape measure & my son (ha ha) & it was up in 5 minutes!

I can't wait for these to go on sale so I can buy more for my other rooms & gifts to give for those "hard to buy for" people in my family & the bridal showers, housewarmings etc ....that I am always fumbling about TRYING to find something for!

The product that came wasn't anything different than advertised. It is what it claims to be. It was easy to hang and no problems using it as described. I just personally found it to look less impressive (a touch sloppy, too casual) once in my home and hung up. I put it above the toilet tank, with magazines filling it. I just dont know, it makes you want to be picky about which magazines you buy so when they're hung they don't look like an eye sore. Who wants to draw this much attention to a magazine cover? most of them aren't appealing to me. In other news I am letting my weight watchers and good housekeeping subscriptions lapse and picking up consumer reports, maybe those will look better hanging on this :)

So my only complaint is a lack of instructions. I realize this sounds stupid, but I was looking for any info on/in the packaging for the size of the drywall screw anchors. I kept guessing and checking on how big they were. I think they are a bout 1/4". Not a big deal, but it could say somewhere what size of a hole you should be drilling. Whatever.

So it's a bit pricey, but a neat little rack. Up close you can see the metal divider between the two columns, but A) So what, it's not magic, we know they aren't really floating and B) if someone points it out they are probably the annoying type who tries to find the negative about anything.

So yeah, I only got this because my girlfriend bought me a subscription to Writer's Digest and so I figured it will be perfect and a nice display once it's filled out, and I can keep them around for reference later as well.

So if you have the spare cash or have a specific purpose, these are very cool.

I would have bought this from Amazon, and had it in my Cart for a long time. Unfortunately, it was always "Temporarily out of Stock." So, I found it through another major retailer, and purchased at a lower price.

This Rack is relatively easy to assemble. There is almost no small hardware to deal with. The instructions are pretty poor, without a single printed word. Fortunately, it is easy to figure out how to put together. It requires a fair amount of strong hammering. I used a regular hammer with a small wooden board under it to protect the rack rails. With no helper, joining the lower & upper pole sections is a bit tricky. Assembling the unit up against a wall or corner of a room is recommended. I used some masking tape to loosely keep the top section of the poles in place while joining them to the lower sections. Using the cardboard box top for assembly helps keep things in place, and will protect your floor during hammering.

This is a really Nice Looking unit. I love the off white color. It has a rich look to it. It is a Sturdy Quality Rack. Recommended!

I wrote review for this item and gave three star, but decided after using shelving unit to edit my review. This seller is extremely overpriced this shelving, I bought it from Home Depot site for $63.00 with free shipping. Second design of this unit is not the best. Four corner posts are made of two pieces each (which is completely stupid thing to do), so when you try to put it together and hummer next plank in, other planks which you already hammered in, keep sliding off, if you have another pair of hands makes it much easier. There are little hols in perimeter rails, I would assume for screwing shelves to metal rails, but no screws are provided. After saying all this and getting over experience of putting unit together, I like this shelving, it is stable and holds heavy stuff well.

This is a great looking TV stand from Simpli Home. It far exceeded our expectations in quality and appearance. The online photos do not do it justice. We ordered it through Amazon from Stacks and Stacks. Stacks and Stacks is an awesome company who provided outstanding customer service when we had problems with our delivery. They went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met.

This unit is exactly what we were looking for a tv stand with storage! It's perfect. The color is darker than the picture, which was fine with me. Assembly took a while but for the price you just can't complain. I wish the doors were a little more heavy duty, but otherwise we are very happy and pleased with this product.

Absolutely beautiful!! Far exceeded my expectations. Very well packaged. Not a piece missing nor were there any scratches or nicks. The color is a bit barker than it appears on the picture but it was exactly what I wanted. It only took 2-1/2 hours to put together (and that included a couple of breaks for the phone, doorbell, etc). Directions were well written. Just a note on the tools that I used in lieu of the recommended: I used a multi-bit screw driver, phillps bit & hex bit-(instead of the supplied hex tool). I also used a low torque drill for the back panels-yes they supplied phillips head screws instead of those little tacks that comes with most furniture backing. Very solid piece of furniture suitable for any room. You don't really have to use it as a TV stand. It looks great as a buffet or a stand-alone piece. Definitely would recommend.

Whitmor 6058-90 Supreme Garment Rack, Chrome

I bought this rack to hold my clothes during a move from one state to another. Included in this purchase was the advertised canvas cover.

The rack is made of sturdy materials and survived the trip in a UHaul truck without incident. It rolls fine when loaded to the gills and the bottom rack was useful for shoes.

With the cover on, the top rack is pretty much useless for storage because the cover slides down and rest on that rack. Any items you want to store on top would be resting on the cover itself.

One thing to be aware of: The rack is held together only by friction and gravity. The two racks slip over the four poles and are held in place only by their weight; no screws or bolts secure them.

This means that the unit cannot be lifted by the racks, otherwise, the entire thing falls apart. They can be safely lifted by the poles and this will keep everything together. While this design sounds flimsy, it really is pretty strong once assembled correctly.

The only reason I did not give this item 5 stars was because of the poorly written instructions. As usual, these were written by blind individuals who speak no known language. Consequently, you are left to figure out how the parts assemble correctly. Even a simple thing such as which way the racks fit; with their edges up or down? The picture certainly doesn't make that clear. This is crucial because the corner tubes of the rack are tapered slightly (not obvious at first glance) which locks the unit together.

REMEMBER THIS: the plastic inserts that fit into the four corners of the racks are also tapered tubes; their sides are NOT parallel. It is this taper that allows the racks to compress against the four poles and lock the pieces in place. This important fact was overlooked in my set of instructions, but is perhaps the most important point to understand.

The cover, also well made but with one major cost-cutting flaw. It uses buttons to secure the front opening instead of a zipper. Consequently, it's not dust proof since it hangs open between the widely spaced buttons.

This garment rack costs a little more than most. However, it is worth it. The full rectangular shape adds extra sturdiness.

A few notes that may save others' time:

1. It definitely takes two people to put this rack together.

2. Instructions are somewhat lacking with respect to the plastic fasteners: they fail to point out that on each fastener there is a "top". Once you realize that the top is slightly wider than the bottom two pieces, the work goes smoothly.

Because the instructions were not clear I had to call customer service which turned out to be a most helpful and painless experience!

I have a few smaller Whitmor chrome racks in the basement that have held up and served their purpose well so when I purchased the garment rack I knew that I could trust the name. If you feel that this rack is a bit expensive, I'd say that the extra price is justified. They seem to make quality products.

The rack is about 3 feet wide and just under 6 feet tall. The two shelves appear to support a good deal of weight I've put 50 pounds on each without seeing much bowing. It does wobble a bit when pushed but it's nothing I'm concerned about. When filled with clothes it's sturdy and rolls well.

If you're putting this together yourself, it will be a bit tricky. The poles are just under 6 feet tall and you've got to somehow balance all four of them while sliding the shelves down each one if you follow the provided directions. I discovered a couple things while assembling it that might help if you're going to attempt it yourself:

1. Keep in mind (I didn't realize this and the directions were a bit foggy) that the black plastic clips that attach to the 4 poles have to go on in a certain direction. Each clip is labeled with a "TOP" to aim towards the sky. That will make sliding the shelves on them less of a struggle.

2. Likewise, the shelves themselves also have a top and bottom, something the directions also didn't make clear. The lip of the shelf must face DOWN for the shelf to slide on to the clips the best. I figured the lip went up, and found myself wanting to hammer the shelf on to the clips. Flipping the shelf around and sliding it on to the clips with the lip down made life much easier.

3. Each pole is two pieces that are screwed together in step one to make four long poles. Putting this together myself, I found that skipping this step and putting the bottom shelf on the smaller four poles and THEN creating the longer poles by screwing them together made assembly much easier for one person.

Overall this is a great solution for overflow from any closet.

I recently purchased the HomePlus Jumbo Storage Cabinet to use in my office conference room. It arrived quickly directly from the manufacturer. I spent about an hour reading through the direction prior to attempting to put the cabinet together. Since I am petite woman, I called on the help of my sister-in-law. Since I had read reviews of this taking anywhere from 4 to 12 hours (gasp!) We set a stop watch to see how long it would take. Two women, between the ages of 28 and 35, put the cabinet together in 2 hours flat.

The directions are well written and there are pictures to go along with each direction. It seems like they wrote the directions as they were assembling a cabinet because it offered a lot of suggestions to making this an easy process and it was! Only once did we get frustrated! The feet at the bottom are rather large, and my screwdriver was rather short so I had to run out and get a longer screw driver.

After assembling, I started adding things throughout the conference room to the cabinet.

The only reason I am not giving this cabinet 5 stars is because I wish the small door didn't have the shelves. I would have liked to have more space in the interior of the cabinet. I can't take off too many points for this though, because I knew that feature was included when I bought the unit.

Overall, I think this unit is fairly large, with ample storage, easy to put together, at a fair price.

The storage doesnt look anything like in the picture and not as jumbo as it claims to be either. The unit took close to 10-12 hrs for two of us to assemble. The parts were cheap and the edges chipped off while I was trying to assemble. the holes to put the door hinges were off and not at the right places which lead to the doors not sitting well and overlaying on each other. I called the Sauder company for help and the person tried to guide me over phone to fix the issue and giving me the same instructions that I had already tried and attempted.I asked if they were going to send a person to fix the doors but the rep said I'd have to call a contractor and get this fixed.

The storage in the door is such a bad idea with the shelves being so narrow and any item you put on it tends to fall off. And besides it eats into the space of the main shelf. I'd rather would have had a much wider shelving in the unit than on the door.

All in all, not worth the price and the effort that it took to assemble the piece.

I am very satisfied with this cabinet. The only complaint I have is that my CDs do not fit well in the small shelves in the door. I have to angle them a little so they clear the lip on the edge. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow. I assembled it by myself in about 4 hours. It was packaged exceptionally well and arrived without any blemishes. It is heavy and very sturdy. The hardest part of the assembly was getting the doors on straight. Luckily the hinges that are included have the ability to adjust in any direction. Everything fit together perfectly, and it looks very nice in my home office.

We bought this cabinet to use a a pantry when we moved into a house that had a small kitchen. So far we are happy with it, but some things were a little annoying.

Pros:

-The smaller door offers storage with adjustable shelves which makes for more space.

-The color of the cabinet is very pretty.

-The amount of storage is pretty good, and I like that I can adjust the shelves to fit taller items.

Cons:

-It is a big pain in the rear to put together. There are a lot of parts and it took my husband and I a few hours to put together. The instructions are not that great. There are a few parts that you need to drill holes yourself, which I didn't like. If you drill too far, you can't put the screw in. I feel like if you don't line the parts up exactly when you are drilling the holes, it effects how square the piece turns out, so you could end up with doors that are out of alignment.

-The doors do not adjust much, so ours has doors that are a little lopsided. If it doesn't align correctly, the smaller door doesn't stay shut.

-There is no hardware to affix the cabinet to the wall. I think this is very important, especially if you have little kids that open the doors to get a snack.

All in all, I'd say it's ok. Not bad, but not much better quality than IKEA.
