For the price this is a good quality product. It is very strong with the bars in the back to make it more rigid. I put two baskets loaded with bathroom toiletries on the shelves and there is no problem with the weight limit or bowing of the shelves. I thought it would come with no stain on it, but they put a protective coating to make it nice and smooth so I was happy about that as I thought I would have to stain it. The only mod I made was adding tall rubber "feet" to the bottom since it is living in the bathroom next to the shower I did not want water on the floor to destroy it. It did come with some padding on the bottom but not enough for a bathroom environment. The product came quickly and no damage.

KidKraft® Avalon 3 - Shelf Bookcase

I never write reviews, but this product was so bad that I feel compelled to warn other prospective buyers. We purchased this bookshelf for our girls' playroom for their books. We assembled it correctly and strapped it to the wall. Even so, it is in no way stable enough to be filled with books. It quickly buckled under the effort and was a hazard for the kids. The shelves were ready to give way at any moment so we took all the books off and piled them on the floor which became a different kind of hazard. We have replaced this bookshelf with a different one now and have had to pay twice for the bad experience. I therefore write this review to let you know that this bookcase cannot be used for books. If you would like to use the bottom shelf for books and the upper two for picture frames or stuffed animals, that might work. Good luck!

I had originally seen this bookcase in a Sears ad for $134.00 plus shipping. I was very pleased to find it cheaper through Amazon.com. This bookcase was the perfect size to turn an under the stairs closet into a little reading alcove for my daughter's bedroom. I am very happy with the finish on the product. It looks great. The only thing I would suggest to the manufacturer is the need to use a thicker dimension of wood for the shelves themselves. We have a lot of books which are very heavy. I am worried about the shelves bowing under the weight. I will probably purchase some small "L" brackets to beef up the support. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase!

KidKraft Avalon Tall Bookshelf White I ordered this shelf as a Christmas gift for someone and I couldn't be more disappointed. First of all, it arrived with a broken leg. I thought I would glue it, but then realized the entire shelf is made of pressed paper and it would have no structural integrity. The pieces were marked incorrectly, so when I ordered a replacement part from the KidKraft website, I got the wrong part. I ordered another replacement part and it was apparently engineered differently than the originals...the screw holes and dowel holes were reversed. By the time I got the second replacement part over a month had gone by and I just wanted the thing together...at least until I could buy a better shelf. It took a little glue and drilling, but I finally got it put together. What should have taken 10 minutes to put together took several hours. I purchased a $20 bookshelf from Target that was much better quality than this one. This KidKraft bookshelf was a joke. It really turned out to be quite the crummy Christmas gift.

I will give KidKraft credit for offering an easy way to get replacement parts via their website. I will also give the company I purchased it from, BabyAge, some credit for offering to help me get the correct replacement parts. After 3 bad experiences (the broken leg to begin with and the 2 wrong replacement parts), however, I just got tired of giving them chances to get it right and decided to move on. I will be replacing the Christmas gift with another bookshelf, but I plan to buy it locally this time.

I searched and searched for a cherry bookcase that was the right color to match the DaVinci Kalani crib and changing table/dresser my son has in his nursery (they don't sell a matching bookcase in the cherry color), but could never find the right piece. However, when I found this online, I decided to take a leap of faith it looked like the right color, but I was apprehensive since it is so difficult to truly tell what color something is online. However, I couldn't have be happier when I opened the box the color is perfect for what is already in his nursery. I can't comment yet on the durability of this product since I just got it, but feel it is a very nice piece of furniture for the price. Assembly was quick and easy and it comes with hardware to attach it to the wall for safety -LOVE this aspect of it!

Hope this helps anyone else out there who has the DaVinci Kalani set and is looking for a matching bookcase!

Maybe this bookcase is good. I don't know because I can't put it together! It arrived packaged with numerous missing parts and duplicates of other parts. For example there was only suppose to one #8 part but we had two of those and extra #7's as well but no #2 or #3 parts. We then placed a call to the company with a list of the missing parts and they agreed to FedEx them to us. That seemed fine and we were happy...until the FedEx arrived, STILL with wrong parts. It is now three weeks later and I still have no #1 shelf part to put this thing together. I am very frustrated with this company and ready to throw this thing away before we've even used it. Very disorganized company. Who packs these boxes with the parts monkeys?

Microwave shelf w Outlet Wood Color

When I received the box it said GLASS FRAGILE on the outside so I thought I had the wrong item because I didn't see any glass in the description. Well, upon opening and inspecting the pieces, I just gathered they put that warning on the front so the delivery company would be careful with it there was no glass. Anyway, came very well packed but upon inspecting each piece which I recommend doing I found some of the boards had small scuff marks on them but nothing so terrible that I felt the need to contact the company for replacement parts.

INSTRUCTIONS: 2 pages: 1 page listing all the pieces, screws, etc and 1 page showing four diagrams on how to put it together. I was a bit frustrated because there was no STEP 1, STEP 2, etc., but I found it was very easy to assemble. It did say DO NOT TIGHTEN ANY SCREWS UNTIL FULLY ASSEMBLED. And I think it best to follow this direction.

ASSEMBLY: I assembled the two sides first with the cross bars leaving the screws a little loose but not to the point where it was wobbly. When attaching the shelves, I started from the bottom and would tighten the screws as I went up. Worked very well. CAUTION: Do not try and over-tighten any screws. There is a chance the boards will start to split. I had this happen a couple of times but it was nothing horrible just a small crack underneath one of the shelves around the screw hole. Screwing them in as tight as you can get them is NOT needed, this is a very sturdy item and supports itself well. So be conservative. Everything went together very well: all holes lined up well, etc. The drawer is very easy to put together and slides in easily. Only downside to the drawer is that the bottom is made of 1/8 of an inch paper/cardboard so I don't expect to store anything very heavy in the drawer. Silverware, various lightweight kitchen utilities will be fine. Assembly took about an hour.

MISC DETAILS: 1) There are 3 grounded outlets but they are NOT 3-prong outlets they are 2 prong with one prong being longer than the other. The shelves are VERY sturdy and I plan to use the second shelf from the bottom to hold my small microwave. All three boards are the same laminate plywood/particle board which I would assume is not suited to use as a cutting board so use a cutting board on top if you plan on doing any food prep. The wheels on the bottom are lockable which is nice.

Overall I am very pleased with this. It's the perfect size for my small kitchen giving me more counter space and big, generous shelves. I took 1 star off for poor directions and for some of the boards being a little scuffed other than that I'd give it 5 stars. Very sturdy and attractive!!

The product was perfect for what I was looking for, and combined well with the corner mounting system. Though the product was fairly easy to install, it would have been helpful to include a more detailed description of the mouting process, including measurements.

Unit was easy to install under the creative 22" shelf. Only the poor shipping protection held back this rating. The shelf required paint touch up before assembly. It had noticable chips in the paint on the corner. Otherwise it worked perfectly.

I bought this product after searching for weeks for a perfect small shelf with sides to hang on the wall in my daughters room for her DVD's. While the dimensions are perfect for the job there is no way to hang it directly on to a wall unless you buy separate wall brackets and just set the shelf on those. This is an okay product and will work for my purposes with a little extra invested for those brackets.

Woodland Products AE36W Architectural Elements 36-Inch Shelf, White Finish

I ordered two of these sheves and they were a big disappointment. When they finally arrived from Stacks and Stacks, one was damaged. The worst part is I could not get any response or satisfaction from the seller to return these shelves and get a refund. Thankfully, Amazon is handling my claim because the seller will not contact me. Amazon has been wonderful to deal with.

I bought this because I didn't want brackets to show. The shelf itself is nice, but the "hidden" bracket that comes with this shelf is so cheaply made that the shelf does attach sit level on the wall. The welding is sloppy and the shelf tilts downward at about a 55 degree angle. To get the shelf level, I had to add support brackets under it.

Please don't waste your money on these shelves. They are so cheaply constructed, I was speechless when I opened the box. I bought these for one of my kids rooms but would have been embarassed to leave them up. The brackets don't allow the shelf to sit flush with the wall and the material is so flimsy that a paper towel would give it a run for it's money. Both of ours arrived damaged from the factory and it was a pain in the rear to get our money back. Took over a month of emails back and forth with the shipper before we were credited back what we paid. If the materials were higher quality and there was some way to mount these flush with the wall like they're supposed to be, I'd put them in every room of my house. As it was, I donated ours to Goodwill. Good luck to the poor soul who buys them.

This is a good shelf, and the mounting bracket has various holes so you can find a stud to attach to. Of course, like all floating shelves, it's not built for a lot of weight.

These are a real bargain, and you can mount them inside your cupboard doors too. Come with mounting hardware. I think I got them direct from mfr. but would go through Amazon in future.

Each holds 6 regular spice bottles. When mounting them, leave enough space above to allow for getting the spice bottles out easily.

finally I got all my spice bottles out of my crammed cupboard and onto the doors where I can see them. Easy to install and nice because you can put them at any height to fit with your shelves. Great value too.

I liked that they are separate shelves because not everyone has the same size cabinets. On a side note, I wish these came in about 10in instead because I couldnt put them where I would rather like to have them but I will be ordering a couple more because I have more spices then I thought. I bought these indending to use them, but installed the sticky back clip spice holders instead. I'm not a fan of putting holes in cupboards, especially not cheap cupboards like I have. If I had higher quality cupboards, I would buy a higher quality door spice rack.

I purchased the Crosley cart directly from the Wayfair's website. I was amazed how fast it was shipped. I placed the order over the weekend and arrived from the Midwest to California the following Friday. It ships in three boxes. The first box (about 4.5ft tall x 2.5ft wide) contains the body, the second box (about 4.5ft tall x 1.5 ft wide) contains the marble top, and the third box (8in tall x 6in wide) contains the wooden legs. The heaviest of the three boxes is the one that contains the marble top. I would say it weights about 50 pounds. Everything is well packaged. Overall, I was able to move them on my own.

It took me about 2 hrs to assemble the cart and did it all by myself. The directions were clear, all the parts were well labeled, and everything went together smoothly. The quality of the materials and the workmanship are superb. The parts feel solid along with the color and style of the cart give it an expensive look. Although I ordered it with wooden the legs, casters are also included so that one has both options during assembly.

Word of caution, when installing the doors, which is amazingly easy to do, make sure to pay attention to the location of the top metal plate on the door that aligns with the magnet. If you happen to install the doors upside down, you will waste about 20 min dissembling and reassembling the cart.

I love my kitchen island. It's a great value for the price -a lot sturdier than I was expecting and looks high end. My only disappointment is that I got the stainless steel top. The top is quality, but the brushed silver shows fingerprints, dust and any residue. Top also scratches easily. It has proven to be high maintenance. The wood top or marble top would have been a better choice for me... more forgiving for an active kitchen.

The kitchen island looks very nice and the granite top is a big plus, but the island sways back and forth if you push on it from the sides. In other words, the craftsmanship is not great. Seeing as I made sure to tighten all of the screws to the max, I would certainly recommend using wood glue between the pieces and not just rely on the screws for strength. I remembered to do this about a quarter of the way through putting the unit together, so I wasn't able to benefit from this added reinforcement as much as I could have.

This was very promptly delivered and easily put together. It is a sturdy and compact little cart and just what I need for my coffee maker to have its own home!! Of course the piece is easily movable but The Bun Feet are so nice that it might become a stationary item!!
