I ordered the 22-Inch shelf. Unfortunately, the product description didn't explain what the 22 inch measurement was for. I incorrectly assumed it was a diagonal measurement of the shelf. It is, in fact, the measurement of each side of the shelf touching the wall. This shelf is huge. So, I will be returning it for the 16 inch. I wish the product description would have been more clear. Oh I also noticed there are about 6 small and uniform holes drilled on the surface of the shelf. I do not know what those holes are for and would rather they were not there.

This is an attractive shelf that was really easy to install. I liked the walnut finish and I put a heavy lamp on the shelf and it holds it without a problem. Overall, it's a great shelf that holds a lot of weight, is easy to install and looks nice. Highly recommended!

I bought two of these shelves, different sizes, to put in the corner of my small laundry room to store laundry supplies. The description said it would hold quite a bit of weight, which is what I wanted. When I got them it seemed unlikely that the two little strips of wood used to hold the shelf would do that. But it does. Like I said, so farso good. I have only had them a couple of weeks, but they seem very sturdy. I have two large (170oz) containers of liquid laundry detergent on the lower one (16") plus two smaller bottles of other laundry cleaners. I placed it at a height so I could use it to dispense the detergent. The upper one (12") I use for an iron. They look very nice in the corner and I have gotten compliments on them. The only thing I would recommend is to try and put the screws in a stud, if you can. I could not do that and would feel more confident if I wasn't relying on the screws in drywall (with anchors included). Overall, I am very pleased with the quality and look of these shelves.

I bought this shelf along with one size larger and a 22" size for my son's nursery. This shelf is large enough to fit a photo book, a piggy bank (average sized) and a small stuffed animal. The color is a deep chocolately brown (what I would describe as "Espresso"). The shelves were just as easy to install as the description claims which surprised me!. Use a level and preferably a second set of hands and you'll be all set! They really do look like they are floating in the corner of the room. My only complaint is that just installing them caused a few knicks and scratches. nothing all that noticeable and if I had installed them with someone else I may have been able to avoid causing them but nonetheless, they are not solid hardwood so be careful! Overall, very pleased!

It is a nice product at a good price. A note to the wise. Make sure your walls are square. If they are not square the shelf will not work as designed. I needed to make my own shelf supports. If your walls are square the shelf should work fine. I am still satisfied with the product.

Whitmor 6060-3436 Supreme Small 3-Tier Shelving, Chrome

This is a surprisingly sturdy little shelf. Pretty easy to assemble also only takes 5-10min. Shelves are adjustable (all three can be placed anywhere along the length of the poles), and the small feet at the bottom are also adjustable to ensure proper leveling. Unfortunately (echoing what another reviewer said) these are not designed to be stackable (too bad because I really would have liked that feature too).

Overall I'm happy with this shelf and my purchase, HOWEVER potential buyers should note that an essentially identical set of shelves is available at both major DIY chains (HD and Lowe's), at literally half the price (Amazon will probably delete the figures, but they were $20 at HD and Lowe's vs $40 at Amazon). I also bought the similar unit from HD, which has literally exactly the same design (there are only very minute differences), is rated/described as "commercial" (however that is defined) and is rated slightly higher on weight capacity (250 vs 200 lbs per shelf). I found the HD unit to be just slightly easier to assemble, and in my opinion they are equally sturdy and stable. Had I known these were available at HD/Lowe's at half the price, I would have just purchased them there as I have found them identical in terms of functionality.

For all of you who need only 3 shelves, this is a sturdy little shelf, and I'd buy it again.

For the rest of you: I bought a few of these for my kitchen, hoping to be able to stack them (and make a taller rack that fits perfectly in a corner space I needed to use). Whitmor customer service was spectacular in the way that they shipped me 8 couplings (for between the indivual pieces--i wanted a total of 3 sets = 9 shelves) that arrived within 2 days of me calling.

What didn't work: Apparently customer service didn't know that this was actually impossible, as both ends of each rod are not threaded. I could have, and should have, checked, but I had a set from another manufacturer and assumed this would be the same. With careful planning of the use of the little black pieces that hold each shelf, I managed to do what I wanted, but it would have been better to have the threaded coupling in there for insurance. Whitmor--please change your design.

The size and picture of the item to determine if if was the same as the ones I already own was very important. This shelving is very versatile as it is adjustable and easy to install. Also easy tear down for moving or storage purposes. Excellent item for small spaces.

I needed something for extra storage in my small kitchen and this little stand works very well. The "see through" stand seems to take up less room than it actually does and yet holds a lot of things. The directions could be a little better but that's often the case and I figured them out and put it together quickly. I am very pleased with the quality.

Maybe I am crazy but I have never heard of selling shelf brackets singly. Hanging a shelf requires two brackets. I was very upset when the reasoning behind purchasing the brackets here because it was $5 cheaper than the other site I was looking at. Imagine my surprise when I opened the package so I could hang my two shelves and there were only 2 brackets in the package. Sigh What a waste of time

This shelving is deceptively stable even though it appears rather whimpy. I use it in a bathroom to hold several pool towels and other outdoor necessities. It was EXTREMELY EASY to assemble. I think it took me about 10 minutes to unwrap and assemble it. The only comment that I have regarding it's appearance is that the bamboo being a natural material has some irregularities by nature. I found nothing that was unacceptable.

I'm overall very happy with these shelves. They went together easily, fit perfectly in the small space between a wall and the shower, and look nice.

With only a vanity cabinet and a small window ledge this was perfect for my need of extra storage space in the bathroom.

There was a problem with one corner of one shelf while putting it together. Either it was already cracked or, in my opinion, the screw hole was badly drilled not very deep. I wasn't using unusual force or anything. In fact, very little as I was rotating around the whole shelf putting in all the screws just a little bit at time.

Anyways, this screw didn't go in very far before it started splitting the corner of the shelf. The other 19 no problem. I haven't checked with them yet. I certainly don't want to send the whole thing back. It's actually fine without that screw, and if it comes down to it, I'll just get some wood filler. But hopefully I can talk them into send me just one shelf preferrably with all 4 holes drilled to depth.

These z-beam shelves are simply awesome. They're easy to setup and take down without tools, and are rugged enough to stand up to your serious storage needs. I have several in my basement and workshop, and they look good and have a nice paint (powercoat?) thickness that seems to stand up to unconditioned spaces very well. You used to be able to get these at the Depot but they seem to be carrying a lower strength sku these days. I wish there were an easy way to order extra cross beams to add a shelf, but still and all I highly recommend them.

The size is ideal for a small corner, however, the box was delivered damaged and all the hardware to assemble both the desk and the chair was missing. The box contained very little information on contacting the desk manufacturer to obtain missing pieces/hardware.

The desk is nice once put together BUT!!!! IF my husband wasn't here to put it together (who has the patience of Job), it would have ended up in the trash because the packaging literally fell apart and could not have been used to ship back. There is a little damage from shipping but not noticeable once we placed it in the corner. The wood is decent and I like the fact that the chair matches. If assembly had not been next to impossible for myself I would have rated it a 5 star for the finished product.

Sonax Milan Component Stand

Although it was easy to assemble despite inadequate instructions, the fit and quality for the cost is ridiculous. In this "Two hundred dollar" AV stand, there is about twenty dollars worth of painted particle board and glass shelves along with five dollars worth of hardware...and that is being generous. I do the majority of my shopping online and most of that is here on Amazon and am generally pleased with the products received. But this is the first time ever for me to feel so compelled to write a product review. Granted the picture looks good and the design is pleasantly contemporary, yet what you'll receive after paying your $200 is far from what you see here.

For the price paid, I assumed that this would be a quality piece of furniture. Not so. The fit where the particle board shelves join the side and rear supports is nowhere near acceptable. There may some nice way over-sized plastic hole liners for equipment wiring, but there is no space allocated behind the rear vertical panel. You must move the stand away from the wall to make room for cables which you must figure out how to secure. Everything does have a value though...in this case...maybe $39.00. Please, please, please heed this warning and don't waste your money. Both this company and Amazon should know better than to peddle this kind of junk.

In an unusual move I purchased this stand without reading the reviews, and I must say this time I am glad I didn't read the reviews. Assembly was quick and easy, it took me all of 15 minutes to assembly out of the box. I find the stand extremely sturdy and well constructed.

The only thing I would agree with the other post is the price, although slightly more stylish, I believe it would be something Wal-Mart or Target would sell for roughly $100 less. Due to the price I only give it 4 stars

These bookcases look sturdy and hold up well. Assembly is a huge pain the butt. There isn't quality control for the size of the pegs... a few pieces took a lot of elbow grease to assemble while others were rather loose. Overall, I like the look of the product. NOTE: The shelves on the desk are not evenly aligned with the bookcases. They sit about an inch lower.

Strong, mounts to wall if desired, versatile, and comes with an adhesive tape ruler to use when unspooling wire, or rope or whatever you've got mounted.

One item I want to point out is that it came un-assembled in a tightly compact box. I was afraid it was going to be all bent up and dented by the time it arrived, but since it was tightly packed, it arrived in perfect shape.

Five stars for multiple reasons.

I titled this review as "Almost" Perfect, because honestly, it probably should be $15 less. Nevertheless, I'm very happy with this purchase.

Home Styles 5002-94 Kitchen Island, White and Distressed Oak Finish

This island is fairly sturdy and attractive EXCEPT for the horrible "distressed" finish on the oak top. They add chips, stains, and "worm holes". The chips and stains are subtle, but the worm holes are the worst. They don't look natural at all. There are about 8 uniform patches of 30-40 1/8 deep holes. If you want a clean look, don't buy it. If you want an aged antiqued look, don't buy it because it looks totally fake and cheap. The worst part is that there is no mention of this "distressed" finish in the product description. It's a shame, cause the rest of the island is pretty attractive.

I did a ton of research and read a lot of reviews before making this purchase. I read a lot of mixed reviews on this island and was concerned about the "worm holes" on the top surface. I am SO glad I took a chance on this island. It is just stunning. There are minor embellishments to the top surface, but they are extremely small, there are very few of them, and they do not detract from the beauty of it at all. Every person that comes over comments on how gorgeous the island is.

It also provides a great amount of storage. We took down 2 full hanging cabinets, and everything from those cabinets fit in here perfectly with room to spare. And the shelving on the sides was a nice touch and a great place to display some of my collectibles.

I ordered this from EZBuyFurniture and couldn't be happier with the service. It arrived in 3 days, well packaged with no damage whatsoever. The price they offered was well below the price listed here, so do some research, as the prices vary greatly from store to store.

The one thing that I saw in a few negative reviews that was accurate were the cam locks (during assembly). They were very difficult to work with and required me to do a step differently than the directions indicated, but thankfully that only accounted for a small portion of the assembly. I am a small woman (5'2") and was able to put this together with my 13-year-old son with no additional problems.

I just can't say enough good things about this island. If you are on the fence about purchasing it, do not hesitate another minute. You will not regret it.

This item is awesome, I ordered it sunday nite from ezbuyfurniture and got here by Friday, does take 3 people to put together, Took us 2 hours! Love it Love it~~the only bad thing which is not terrible but there is so much styrofoam and cardboard, think that took us an hour to do~~but who cares. So make sure you have lots of trash bags!! Just lovely and gave me incentive to clean out my other kitchen drawers and reorganize~~the worm holes people talk about are no big deal, actually i love them and gives it character~~so dont hesitate to order.

I love this island. It's very sturdy and looks great! Yes, there are pin holes that don't really make sense but they don't take away from the piece at all. I posted some pictures so you can see for yourself. Another thing that I had an issue with was the extension piece. It leaned down a little so I put some felt stickers (that you use under chair legs) on top of the brackets that hold the extension up. The doors don't quite line up but I don't feel this takes away from the piece either. I would imagine that every piece is not exactly like the next. No one else has mentioned the doors. I took a long time and looked at many islands before I finally chose this one and I'm glad I did. It's just what I wanted.

I searched for a tv stand for months and finally found this one. It was a little more money than I wanted to spend but it was exactly what I was looking for. I received it faster than what was projected and all pieces were intact. It was a little complicated and time consuming to put together but I was able to do it by myself. This stand is very sturdy and looks great! It is well worth the money and I am very satisfied with it.

This entertainment center is just what I was looking for. Shelves for the DVD player, stereo, etc. And specialized cabinets for the movies and CDs that keeps them out of sight yet easy to access. The one thing I would caution is that you need to have space on both sides for the doors to swing out, they're not like regular cabinet doors.

I love the look and design of this tv stand. My husband spent a long time putting it together and at the very end when it was time to attach the doors we discovered that the hinges were drilled on the same side as the door handles!
