InterMETRO Storage Basket

I made the mistake of building my knitting station with the 14x36" shelves of Intermetro, and none of the other hanging baskets will fit on the short side of those shelves (they're all 18" wide). I hadn't even realized Intermetro made this size shelf until recently and I snapped up two of them, one to hold my hand cards and one to hold my Grid-Its full of needles. Sturdy and looks well with the rest of the setup, as expected.

I may switch to the 18x24" shelves, since all I'd need to replace are the shelves, and if I do, these will still work. So in that sense I consider them a good investment. They'll work on any configuration.

A couple of the brackets came pre-rusted, but I used them anyway. The instructions are very minimal and don't state what size and type of material to buy to build the cabinets, only that the example used melamine. Since my cabinets would be strictly utility, I selected 1/2" plywood. The measurements provided for attaching the door hinges wouldn't work at all, and I wound up buying 1/4" plywood for the doors and setting the hinges by trial & error. The ten utility & ladder hooks weren't threaded far enough to use with 1/2" wood, so I had to extend the threads with my tap & die set (no way would they have worked with the 3/4" melamine available at Home Depot!).

Bottom line: Too much work for utility cabinets; I should have just bought some used kitchen cabinets and hung them on the garage wall. I need to get some additional brackets to support the center of the inside shelves lest they sag. NOTE: Plywood alone cost over $100 from Home Depot, that's in addition to the cost of the kit.

I am giving this item a rating of 3 because it is all wood except the drawer bottoms and the back. Every part of it must be assembled which took about 21/2 hours. There are some small marks on a few pieces, but hardly noticeable. I like the style and am keeping it. HOWEVER, I am giving Amazon a ZERO because it was an opened box but all the pieces were so supposed to be there. I began assembling it as I took the parts out of the box. When I got to the bottom, I realized that the top was missing. I called and called trying to get a top. I was not able to get it so I am having one made as I did not want to take it all apart again, wrap each piece and return it, as they suggested. Amazon did give me an additional discount, but they need to make sure all the parts are present when an item is advertised as an "open box".

Overall I like the look and quality of the item. The problem was that a few of the pieces were damaged either in shipping or prior to shipping. Also the other negative is that the instructions are set up is such a way that it is impossible to assemble the product if you follow them. You have to get a little creative during the assembly process to complete the buffet.

If it was not for the quality of the material and how nice the end product looks I would give this a much lower rating.

We needed a piece of furniture for a little storage space, cookbooks, and wine bottles. It couldn't be too deep because of the size of the room and the location of the dining table. This unit works perfectly. My husband was away when it arrived and I assembled the whole thing all by myself! That means it was really simple. It feels very sturdy and is quite a bargain compared to what we were able to find in brick and mortar stores. It arrived ahead of schedule in perfect condition. We definitely recommend this item.

This is a beautiful piece of furnature. Everything I expected. Was a ton of peices. And although it does not say it, you may need a power drill for parts. I followed the directions pretty closely, but at times you have to deviate. I put the base together alone, but needed help for the gtranite top. That is the hardest and heaviest part. Recommend two strong guys for that part.

This is a beautiful piece of furniture, which is not what you can typically say when you've got a "put together yourself" piece. :-) It's solid, well made and just gorgeous! The instructions were not very good, but we still got it figured out. I'd recommend it to anyone! It would be helpful to have two people put it together, though.

70" TV Stand

This stand is simply gorgeous and sturdy as well. It's just the right fit for my 65" plasma, Home Theater System, and a couple of good-sized baskets, too! I had no trouble moving this stand without having to remove anything on it thanks to the 8 casters. It is very easy to manuever over carpeting, even fully loaded.

I mistakenly thought that other than the 2 clear glass shelves, the remainder was made of metal. It actually consists of 2 clear short shelves, 2 long black tempered glass shelves that comprise the top and bottom, and on the back, 3 metal plates with holes designed to guide your cords/wires out behind the stand.

As they are the screw-in rather than snap-in type of casters, I found installing them to take longer than any other aspect of assembly. Unlike another reviewer, I noticed no off-odors from my casters.

Was delivered a couple of days ago. I assembled it immediately. I did have to go to the manufacturers website to get the assembly instructions. Which only took a few seconds. It was easy to put together. The glass is heavy and may take two people to assemble. Once it is assembled there are wheels on it, so that you can move it to whatever wall you want without lifting it. It goes perfect with my 70" Vizio Smart TV. The stand is high enough so that the TV is level with you when I am on my sectional. I could not have found A better stand.,

Ordered these, this brand (TRINITY) from COSTCO.COM, sent them back. These are NOT the same gauge as the HEAVY DUTY shelf units. Even though they call these Heavy Duty, beware, good only for light to medium weights, (under 150#) The picture shows a reinforced center on the shelves....THERE IS NONE. These are strictly a medium duty shelf. The shelf units sold in the COSTCO Warehouse are obviously heavier duty and the gauge of the wire is larger. These will not support 300 lbs as stated without sagging. I wouldn't recommend for garage storage, heavy items. General assembly is all the same on this type of units, but there is a big difference in shelf strength.

Update 10-12-10.....A year plus has gone by....obviously they have changed their product according to the recent reviews....my review was accurate at the time it was written....things change, but after my experience, I want to see what I'm getting. And the person from Trinity that said Costco never sold "Trinity" products, I suggest you do your homework before you make a statement that is not truthful, I just, at this writing checked Costco website, there are 7 Trinity products available from Costco.com....and at a cheaper price too!!!!

I put this rack together a few nights ago and I *love* it! I don't know how much, in terms of weight, I've put on it but each of the shelves is full of many different things from kitchen appliances to books to games, and so on and so forth. I have no doubt that these shelves would be able to hold upwards of 500 pounds on each! The rack was not only really easy to assemble, but adjusting the shelf height, even after I'd set the entire thing up, was also really easy! It was a breeze to move the interlocking mechanisms that secure the shelves in place.

Much like C. Lin, I, too, am uncertain that the first reviewer bought the same shelf. He states that there is no reinforced center on the shelves but mine definitely has them. I would definitely get more of these should the need arise!!

I chose this product because it was reasonably priced. I am so glad I purchase it. It was extremely easy to assemble. The design is wonderful. I am using it to store food in my pantry. It holds everything easily. I have quite a bit of weight on the shelves as I am storing home-canned goods. The shelves are adjustable. I am using the wheels but there are also optional stationary legs. The wheels work great. I would highly recommend this unit for anyone.

I bought 4 of these, (2 for starters, then 2 more a week later) One out of the 4 arrived with a bent shelf, no fault of the manufacturer, it had been manhandled on delivery. I straightened it myself, not wanting to wait since it was a holiday weekend and I wanted to use them.

Setup was easy. Since they are chrome I waxed them first to make sure the finish was clean and so they would stay polished without fingerprints. Installation was very easy, the uprights have double rings regularly spaced that can be used for counting where to put the plastic shelf locks to make sure you have them all at the same height without having to readjust them.

Build quality is good, I put the casters on mine, to make it easy to move for cleaning. The height was great, I've got storage to the ceiling, no dead space. I've had my shelves about 3 weeks and so far, they are great. I happened to catch a sale and got a 25% discount, so whats not to like?

I'll likely buy more for the basement as well. Comes with a wrench, not really needed, since the threads will thread together by hand. One spare plastic shelf mount, in case you break one, and though I bought the style with casters, they included leveling pads in case I didn't want to use the wheels.

I quite like them, they add a clean look to the rooms, and will outlive me I'm certain.

Suncast ACS24 Corner Shelf

I recently purchased & installed my new Suncast ACS24 corner shelves (I bought 4). Very easy to install! Wish they were a bit deeper but they sure help with storage space.

Great concept. Fool that I was, I bought two sets of these, as they seemed like a good idea at the time... But holy smokes, these things were anything but...and they still are not properly fitted and anchored. I can use them, yes, but would not want to go even close to the maximum weight allowed. Perhaps its a function of these plastic sheds and heat, but this was nuts. I'm a fairly handy person, so this should have been a walk in the park. When I installed them (quite some time ago), I needed a rubber mallet...and a large hammer...and a whole new dictionary of profanity. I'd recommend a freestanding shelf before I'd buy these. Just sayin'. One of the brackets would go in really easily, and then...one would not go in, for love or money. And then, by the time that one was 'persuaded', another one would come out and not go back in...well, you get the idea. I broke one right off. I'm glad to hear they worked for some people, but I'd sure never buy a Suncast accessory again!

I assembled the shed last summer, and I decided to install the shelves this year. In theory, installing the shelves should not take any more than five minutes. In reality, I spent almost an hour trying to make these dam# things work. I have the shed on a concrete slab, so it is level. The shelves will only install on certain levels in the shed, so don't expect to have them as high as the slots are in the shed. If every slot lined-up perfectly, and if you choose a very hot day to allow the plastic shed to flex, installation may not be a problem. However, I would imagine that this scenario is not an option for most people. With the help of a rubber mallet, I was able to install one shelf fairly well, and the other installation was passable, at best. Part of the clips on two brackets broke, but that did not seem to interfere with the installation. One shelf would not lie perfectly flat, unless some weight was put on the shelf. I suppose this is the problem with plastic shelves. Possibly, by using a utility knife, you may be able to make some of the slots wider order to have the shelf sit firmly. I believe if I would have installed the shelves when the shed was first assembled, I would've had an easier time installing them.

Bought my shed from Amazon a few years ago and the only thing it was lacking was shelf space. Well, this solved that issue! I love these shelves! Easy enough to install, though it did take a little coercing to get everything to line up and connect but I would expect that with a 4 year old shed that has settled. I've got a gallon gas can as well as many other items on it and no issues at all.

Ultimately these little shelves accomplished what I needed to do: free up some floor space and help me keep things organized in my garden shed. Loss of a star is due to two things. First, as was the case when I put my shed together and I've read from several others, Suncast continues its tradition of having at least one hole or slot not line up quite right. A persuasion instrument, i.e. a rubber mallet, was required; I think even then one of the shelf supports was not locked in when I set the shelf in place. Second, due to the configuration of the brackets and the holes available on the inside wall of my shed, I couldn't put the shelf height exactly where I wanted it. I needed to go a bit higher than was my original plan. They are still great to have in there, and I would certainly rather have purchased and installed them than have not.

Shelves look great once installed. Much more solid than we thought they would be. One of the

wooden connectors was missing, so we cut one of the remaining ones in half, which seemed to work.

To assemble, simply place the supplied paper template on the wall, poke holes with a screw or whatever, then drill holes.

We purchased some wall anchors (about $2) for extra support, so we pushed those into the holes by hand,

then screwed in the connectors. At that point, all you do is slide the shelves onto the connectors.

Once you do it, you will be amazed at just how easy it is and will fly through a second instal if you purchase more than one.

We're happy with the unit. Would have given it 5 stars if it would have had the missing piece and if it would have included the

wall anchors.

I first ordered these from Amazon, and they all arrived damaged with chipped and cracked veneer. This was due to a poor packing job at the Amazon warehouse. The box arrived in terrible shape, and I had to return them. I liked the idea so much, I decided to try my luck again, and order from Stacks & Stacks (via Amazon). They actually packed them correctly at their warehouse, and they arrived undamaged. They were easy to assemble, and I really love that there are so many creative ways to arrange these. These shelves are really unique, and a great alternative to other hanging wall shelves. I wanted to display some larger collectibles, and most nic-nac shelves are only about 3 inches deep. Also, these can hold a lot of weight. Each smaller shelf piece is about 7x7 inches, which works great to display blown glass, pottery, collectible plates, picture frames, etc. My only advice, if you order these through the mail, is that you inspect them carefully for damage when they arrive.

This shelf is made of sturdy wood and came with a template to assist in hanging it on the wall. My husband loved that part as it took all the hard work out of mounting. The entire shelf would have been up on the wall in about 10 minutes but, unfortunately, we were missing a mounting bracket. Thankfully the company who makes the shelf was wonderful and sent us a new one without any issue. Would definitely recommend this shelf and/or any others this company makes.

This was an excellent solution to my storage problems. It was affixed to the wall next to my vanity. I didn't have room there for anything that would be set on the floor as it would block the register. This gives me plenty of room to set my stuff. I didn't install it myself, my husband did say it was hard to install, but it really looks great.

Please be aware when purchasing items from this company, they do not honor their own return policy as stated on their product packaging. My shower caddy rusted within a week after purchasing it, despite a rust proof guarantee. The packaging states: "In case of customer dissatisfaction, return this product, along with the original sales receipt, to the factory. Consumer will be refunded for the return postage and may choose either a no charge replacement or a refund of the original purchase price." And when I requested a refund, I was told that their return policy has now changed, regardless of what was written on my product's packaging.

*I just want consumers out there to be aware of my personal experience with this company, and hopefully it will be of use in their decision-making process.

I purchased this item elsewhere and had a heck of a time with it. If you use all four bars, it's too tall. If you use only three, it's too short (this is going from tub to ceiling, not floor to ceiling). Then to top it off, it started rusting within 3 days. Shouldn't something that's made for the tub be rust-proof???

The only good thing about it is it does what it's supposed to do, it holds bath accessories. Once I got it in the shower, that is. Since the 4th bar made the pole too tall, I had to place it in the tub with just the three bars and bunch up hand towels under the bottom of it to hold it in place.

I think Better Bath must have had a contest to find the worst possible set of instructions for how to assemble their bath and shower caddy. The instructions really shouldn't be that complicated. A simple, large diagram with annotations should have sufficed. Instead, it's 10 steps (well, 11 because there's a 3 and 3B) that barely make any sense.

Fortunately, i've put a few of these together in my day, so i was able to mostly ignore the instructions.

I've had ours up for several weeks now, and not had any problem with rust like one of the other reviewers. There are four shelves, one of which has a little washcloth bar, and another with a rounded bottom for holding things like loofas. For two people with only a few shower products each, it's more than enough room (one shelf of ours is empty, which we rationalize by saying it's the Guest Shelf).

Measure carefully before buying, though, and make sure the space you'll be putting this in is at least 7' 8" (92"). There's a zinger in the last step of the instructions. It says, "Since there is no standard ceiling height, it may be necessary to reduce the height of the Pole Caddy by carefully cutting off some of the 1/2" diameter tube." They offer no advice on how to 'carefully cut' the metal pole indicated, but i assume some clamps and a metal saw of some sort would be involved.

I've used it for over a year and only one complaint. One of the trays keeps falling down. It is secured with only a rubber gromet. All in all, I would purchase this again. It has ample storage area and looks good too !

Honey-Can-Do Kids Toy Organizer and Storage Bins

I was a little skeptical about purshasing this item (or other similar ones) because some reviews reported cracked bins and that amazon could not replace just a bin. I found Honey Can Dos phone #(708-240-8100) and called. They will actually replace individual bins for free if it is due to a manufacturer's defect. Otherwise, you can still purchase them individually for 4.99 and 5.99 (little/big; price as of 2/2011).

Product arrived quickly. Lightning-quick, a nice bonus.

It came in a massive outer box but was well-packaged. After taking everything out of the package, with my husband helping, we had it up in about 20 minutes. A couple of things I noticed, which are neither pros nor cons, just observations:

* the bins don't sit perfectly at an angle. This isn't a problem though I think it would be better if the product's depth were slightly larger as this would allow the bins to seat a bit nicer.

* the rods across the shelf are metal. Not sure why I thought these would be wooden dowels, but upon thinking about it, it's much nicer to have metal because wood has a tendency to warp.

All in all, it's quite a nice little organizer. The colors of the bins are attractive. And although our house isn't completely free of "toy explosions" -this handy little unit makes it a whole lot easier for the toy bomber to clean up her messes.

Okay, I would have chosen different colors for the bins but it's otherwise perfect.

I spent way too much time trying to choose just the right storage for the kids' newly decorated playroom (was supposed to be my kitchen expansion but, oh well). I looked at bigger storage bins but they were too big. I looked at shelves but the bins were more practical because we can scatter the bins around the room for both play and easy pick up and a lot of the toys (cars, balls, plastic animals) are small and need to be kept together. I looked at all plastic but it was bulkier than this wood/plastic combination.

I saw complaints that:

this organizer came damaged mine did not.

that it was low quality higher quality costs more and would be too heavy.

assembly was difficult took me 10 minutes.

bins were too small exactly the right size for my needs. Get a toy box for stuffed animals and shelves for your books.

bins won't sit flat I don't want them to sit flat.

can't secure it to the wall possibly an issue with a child just learning to walk. But we used to tie our Christmas trees to the windows for the same reason so you can probably come up with a temporary fix for a year or so.

We got this about 2 months ago. It has been great organizing all my daughters toys. She can easily grab anything out of them without having to pull out a bin. It is pretty sturdy and I am very pleased with this purchase. I definetly recommend this product!

It looks decent for the price, it's easy to assemble, and seems fairly sturdy. The biggest issue is that the bins stick out the back about an inch and a half. Because of this you can't secure it to the wall to keep it from tipping over if pulled on. It seems fairly stable and my son is 3 so I don't think this will be an issue, but I don't think I'd trust it with younger kids. One other minor issue is that you can't put two large bins on the same rack. Only one large and two small bins will fit.

Zenith Corner Bath and Shower Caddy, White

My husband and I have gone through SEVERAL shower shelves from various "home improvement" stores. We went for flashy, shiny, and pretty and after 3 of those rusted almost immediately we then went with the ones covered in some kind of vinyl (allegedly to prevent rust). That too, rusted. We finally turned to the suction cup ones that never seem to stick and after 5 nights in a row of it falling off the wall around 3am and waking us up I decided to look online for something I had used when I was in college. A quick google search on adhesive shower shelves returned this item.

It's not pretty and it's not flashy and it looks more like something my mom would have in her trailer, but ultimately how many people look in our shower, right? It totally gets the job done.

It has a couple of hangers for the scrub sponges that my husband likes. Four places for razors and three shelves placed at different levels to accommodate soap, shampoo, and what-not.

I think my biggest complaint other than it not being pretty is that the razor holders don't hold our razors well. We use Schick Mach 3 and I'm not sure what razors they were intended to hold, but they are a little tight and as I found out the first time I tried jamming mine in there they aren't very forgiving. I didn't break the shelving unit, but I did gouge out pieces of the rubber on the sides of my razor :(

I'm giving this one four stars because I don't think that not being flashy is a reason to downgrade something that really is intended to be utilitarian.

I purchased this item as a replacement for one that just wore out after about 20 years of service. This one is larger and my wife loves it. Looks like it is stronger too. Thanks for the fine product.

The wife said our shower stall caddy was broken but doubted we could find a replacement.

After some diligent searching on Amazon, I found just what we needed.

This is a good built item and was exactly the same as our old thing.

Installation is so easy and the caddy does what it is designed for ~ hold stuff you need in the shower.

I also bought that 3M mounting kit show elsewhere to use for the installation.

There is an adhesive product on the caddy but, that 3M thing really does the trick for mounting.

Use this in my pantry to hold TWO 5 gallon water towers. I need double filtration due to our horrible tap water. This is sturdy enough to hold them both on the highest shelf as well as lot of other heavy things on the other bottom shelves. So sturdy and nice looking. I still have room for the mops and brooms... it's not bulky. I'll order more as soon as I figure out where I can put them.

I use this as a TV stand for a 24-inch TV in the basement. I am happy with it it is sturdy, and has a clean, white look.

The lower two shelves are good for holding stuff like the Blue-ray player, an old VCR, extra speakers, etc, while the upper shelf holds the TV.
