This is the first item I have ever purchased from Amazon that I am not happy with. When this item arrived, the bottom of the shelf was damaged, but not from shipping. It was obviously damage that happened before it was shipped. The wood is flimsy and should only cost 1/3 the price. I would not advise anyone purchase this poorly made product.

I purchased 3 white floating shelves in July '10. They were easy to hang, and look great. I believe they must be pretty sturdy too because one of them has a computer printer on it.

Organize It All Morocco Wall Mounting 2-Tier Shelf with Towel Bar

It's exactly what I wanted for new motorhome's bathroom. It's lightweight and sturdy. When assembling I reversed the shelves so the scrolled back was in the front acting as a stopper to keep things falling off when in transit. I also cut a couple pieces of 1/2 " pvc pipe I had and filed a curved shape in the ends so they snapped in to act as side rails on the lower shelf. I painted them black of course......they blended in great with the dark bronze color. This shelf holds lots of stuff where we really needed more storage space.

Easy to assemble and hang.. Everything goes to gether in a few minutes.

The shelf looks nice.

My only criticism is the wire shelves.. They are flimsy and the spacing of the wire elements doesn't support some items well like shampoo bottles. If I had to do over I would look for a unit with solid shelves, but after putting together and hanging it , I wasn't in the mood to disassemble and return it.

This shelf is just the right size for a small bathroom with limited space. This is great for clearing up space on bathroom counters and for organizing your personal items. The only drawback that I can find is that due to the oil rubbed bronze finish, it does show dirt quicker than silver or nickel items. But that's ok because I like the dark bronze. Overall all sturdy, affordable, attractive and classy.

This item is a piece of junk. I would not recommend to my enemy. The vendor is also poorly rated as they do not honor missing pieces, and/or anything that goes wrong with the order. Once this piece is assembled it wobbles. the screws will just cut thru the wood. Nasty, Nasty, Nasty

Terrible instructions for building. Drilling for holes was inconsistent: some still had wood in them that needed to be knocked out, others were too big and don't hold screw tightly. Once done, legs were uneven. Had to put felt on the bottom of 2 legs to keep it from wobbling. Although it's not obvious from description, 3 shelves of 5 actually set in on pegs, and thus aren't that sturdy. Finally, the finish scratches very easy. Overall, a grave disappointment; I would not buy from this manufacturer again.

I needed a side table with this height and small footprint. All the parts were included and it was easy enough to assemble. The screw holes do not have caps to hide them and a couple of the shelves just gravity rest in place, so you might occasionally bump them out. It's not top end of course, but the finish looks good and at this price, I couldn't find anything better, or even close.

We finally moved into the 21st century and bought a flat screen TV which necessitated buying a new stand. We spent a weekend looking through several furniture stores to get ideas. We decided that for our room, a corner unit would work best. Typical furniture store prices for what we liked were $400 on up. We wanted a nice piece that looked like good furniture, something a bit better than the Sauder/O'Sullivan things, (though they do make some extraordinary pieces). I spent an afternoon on the Internet searching for corner units and found this Riley Holliday stand.

I looked at it on several different websites and read all the reviews. I was impressed with what the reviews said about the quality and the ease of assembly. (It is shipped flat and actually is hinged and "unfolds") Our AmEx points allowed us to get this a good price through Amazon, and it arrived within the stated shipping/delivery parameters (even though it was the week before Christmas).

Today we got it out of the box and assembled it. Nothing could have been easier and I have assembled numerous assemble-it-yourself pieces: bookshelves, computer desks, as well as an entire wall of garage cabinets. It basically unfolds and then you slide in the lower shelf, the upper shelf and then put the top on. All the fasteners and the Allen-head wrench were included. I put extra felt "feet" on the bottom, even though there were rubber/nylon feet in place, just because we recently refinished our wood floors. The stand is wood, not laminate-covered particle board. The brushed nickel knob that was included was very nice, a substantial piece of hardware, not just some cheap, plated piece. The NICEST surprise was the beveled glass in the door. We chose the Espresso finish, which is a perfect match to our existing furniture and complements the room very nicely. Our new TV is a 40 inch model, which is the right size for this particular stand. The title indicates it's for a plasma TV, but in reality you could use it for just about any flat-screen TV. I would say the TV that is shown in the product photo is a 40 inch unit, just to give you an idea of the proportions.

We love our new tv stand! I usually don't expect really great quality when I buy online, since I can't look closely and inspect the item before buying. We were pleasantly surprised to find that this is very good quality and looks really nice. It comes folded up, so all you have to do is take it out of the box and unfold it, then set the bottom piece in and screw on the top. The beveled glass front looks really nice too it was rattling a little bit at first, but I pressed the plastic stripping on the back side of the glass and tightened it up, and no more rattle! The height of the stand is just right for watching the tv from the couch, you don't have to hurt your neck looking up too high.

Negatives: It had a strong wood stain smell when we took it out of the box. I couldn't watch tv the first day or two because it made my eyes water to be in the room with it. After it had a chance to air out, it was fine. Also, the color is labeled "espresso" but I don't think it's really that dark. We saw the picture and thought it looked dark brown with red tones, and that's exactly what we were looking for, so we're happy. But if you're looking for dark espresso, this might not suit your color needs.

We were looking for a corner stand to consolidate the stereo and dish equipment...solid wood, practically no assembly....compared to "u know what I mean". Doesn't look like it's easy to chip... aesthetically pleasing, too.

We were so impressed with how quickly we received it and then when we opened it up and found the ease of assembly we were elated! It is hinged, unfolds, put in the shelves, screw down the top and put on the handle-done!!! My husband did it, but I could have easily completed the project myself. It looks much more expensive than it is. Color is beautiful-kind of a red dark tone-very nice!! Don't hesitate to get this one!!

First time buying furniture on line sight unseen, so I was a little nervous. But the positive reviews swayed me. I must say that this TV stand was all that I expected, and then some! It could not have been easier to assemble...took less than 10 minutes. Its appearance was also a pleasant surprise. Looks like a fine piece of furniture! Would strongly recommend this item.

Ameriwood Double Door Pantry, 30-Inch Wide

If you need additional no-frills storage for a reasonable price, this is the right cabinet. Roomy with plenty of shelves. Assembly was time consuming (over an hour) but straightforward. Aligning doors takes a while if you are not familiar with adjusting hinges. Material is melamine laminated particle board with cardboard back panel. Prefab design, pre-punched hole locations, etc. make for very good fit and finish. We're happy with it.

I ordered this because Ameriwood products are made in America. However, when the box arrived, it was a Brookshire Creations brand cabinet identical to the advertised cabinet, but it's made in Canada. Granted, that's better than Chinese garbage, but I bought & paid for an American made product. Due to the brand difference, the cherry finish does not match my Ameriwood wardrobe. I'm leaving a positive review of the product itself... it was of fine quality, and easy to assemble. I'm just irritated that I didn't receive what the description indicated. Buyer be warned.

Now that the rant is over, on to the review:

The unit is made of a plywood like composite, much better than particle board. The hinge mounting locations are very sturdy, recessed deeply into the wood. The doors were easy to install & adjust by a single person... easier than my Ameriwood wardrobe, I'm sad to say. When I first attached them, there was a 1/2" gap between them, but with a little adjustment to the hinges, I got it down to 1/16"... perfect. The bottom shelf can hold 50 pounds, the permanent shelves can hold 35 pounds, and the 2 adjustable shelves can hold 30 pounds. The veneer is very nice, where it wasn't scratched & gouged from substandard packaging. Fortunately, all the really bad scratches & gouges were on the inside or very bottom. Assembly took me around 90 minutes from opening the package to tightening the last hinge screw.

All in all, if American made doesn't matter to you above all else, this is a fine unit that will serve you well for years to come.

It took a long time to put together, which would be fine if the end product was what was pictured. We couldn't get the doors to meet not matter how much adjusting we did with the hinges. It's a silly looking cabinet in our kitchen with a pretty noticeable gap running down the center. I like the size of the cabinet so it meets my storage needs, but if it wasn't so hard to return, I don't think I would've kept it.

Package arrived beat up. Scratches and chips on the finish. Broken footer board. We fixed it because we didn't want to mess with it to send it back. But, give me a break. The supplier must have bought this product from the bottom of a clearance pile.

First off I was very surprised that this item came already assembled. It seemed to be packaged very well. Once I opened the item I was very impressed with the sturdiness of it and it appeared just as pictured. The finish is a nice dark cappuccino color as advertised. The only problem I ran into was that the glass had all broken and the top of the item was a little loose. I contacted the seller and Amazon regarding this matter and it was taken care of promptly. I would highly recommend this TV stand, but be prepared for possible damage during shipping.

But, it was in a spot that is not noticeable, behind all the components. The box wasn't that torn up, so I assume it was from the boxing it up, perhaps. Other than that, it's fabulous! Looks great and matches the cappuccino color of my cabinets and other trim.

The picture does not really give a good description of how long it is. It's a good size console. It was my wife's Christmas present, we love it, but the damage warranted a 3 stars. Otherwise it would be 5.

The stand itself is great and color is great but packaging is an absolute FAIL. I wouldn't mind having to assemble the two front glass doors as opposed to them being shipped installed and shattered because of poor packaging and handling. Yes, it came with the front two glass doors and shelves completely shattered. You guys seriously couldn't have removed the glass and properly packaged it before shipping? Instead I had to remove the broken glass and then unscrew all the ugly hanging parts that connected the glass to the wood. All for this kind of price? Not worth it. Look elsewhere.

Knape & Vogt Mfg Co 9' Titan Shelf Bracket (Pack Of 10) Shelf Standard Bracket

Love these. The price was outstanding and the quality is there. I paid much less than they are listed at now... If you have the Knape and Vogt standards, you need these brackets. They have two holes drilled in each to attach the shelves to if you like. They are flat on top as well to allow for using a wider shelf than bracket (ie I have these on 10" wide shelves). I think these would likely be ok on up to 12" shelves, but I would not push them any wider. The slots mate perfectly and do not wobble. This was also a pack of brackets. It did in fact have 10 brackets, enough for 5 shelves if you are using two standards.

The only shocker I had was that the ones I ordered were a hamered silver/nickel color. I was thinking they'd be white, but looking back at the description, it doesn't say that. Either way, these are well worth the price and I will simply paint them when I get around to that. For now they are already installed and doing great!

Definately a best buy for Knape Vogt hd (the type with 2 slots on each side of the bracket or 4 total per bracket)shelve standards! Highly recommend.
