The shelves arrived in great shape, were very easy to put together and work wonderfully for the purpose I needed them. Now I have storage in my garage that can be moved to accommodate my needs like putting a car in there on snow days!

These bins stack very well (only with other bins of same size), hold lots of small to medium pieces, and don't have any corners that things get stuck in. The bins are very rugged. They have room for a label tag in front, and accept front-to-back dividers. A rack is available to hang bins on. Another option (not sold at Amazon) is a clear plastic lid. Bins come in choice of three colors.

Don't stack at all with different sized bins. A bit expensive.

Before you buy this item makes sure you already have the 25" upright extensions that actually hold these shelves up. Otherwise, you will need to special order them. These are shelves only, and do not come with the brackets (extensions) that attach to the wall. This in no way should be called a "kit". After buying shelves and extensions, you are economically better off ordering an entire closet kit and having leftover pieces for another closet or laundry room than buying these items seperately.

I bought four of this item so I can complete my walk-in closet. They were delivered promptly and it was very easy to assemble. The bad side is that I had to buy extensions separetly so I can fis them to the walls...I think it should have been provided in the box... and the sipping of the extension is a ripp off : a single tiny long piece of metal in a very large box that could contain 20 of those pieces... WHY ????? ?????

This set includes 2 26" Rubbermaid Configurations shelves and 4 brackets to hold them on to an existing Configurations closet organization kit. You can add 4' of shelving to your kit either by overlapping the two shelves (side by side) or using them separately; one above the other.

I installed a custom 3'-6' Configurations kit and couldn't use the vertical extensions, but found that additional shelving made my closet more functional. This is a relatively inexpensive way to organize a small space and if you don't use all the parts from one kit, hold on to them as you may find uses for them if you end up rearranging the existing kit or installing one in another closet.

The picture for these shelves is deceptive. You only get the shelves and nothing to attach the arms. The description says you get brackets but you do not get all of the brackets. I would not have made this purchase if I knew I was not getting what was pictured in the advertisement. The shelves are totally worthless unless you make another purchase. Poor performance on the part of Amazon.

I was really excited to receive my scrapbox... Amazon Buyers ALERT!!!! First of all check the panels and hardwares THOROUGHLY... I started to assemble my box in the evening... guess what???? The right panel has a huge crack on it and they just packed 16 of the L-brackets instead of 20... I was soooooo disappointed, because where the heck will I find 4 other brackets like that @ that hour???.... So, the next day I called the number that they provide me on an orange paper inside the box.... Because I ordered my box on Amazon, the lady on the other end of the phone told me that I have to call another number. It has been 4 days and no one picks up + calling the provided number in the box back, they keep telling me that they can't help.

I have to say that I was procrastinating on installing these in my garage because I figured it would be difficult to install. I couldn't have been more wrong. I really like how the poles that extend from the ceiling give a little and slip through a collar instead of being hard welded to the bracket. I also like how the only rule is that you need to space the brackets that are on the same stud the distance of the support bar. I picked a know location of a stud and placed my first bracket. Since my studs are 16" apart, I measured over 32" and affixed my bracket to the stud. Then I attached the support bars to each bracket to measure where I needed to attach my last 2 brackets. Super easy.

These look great, are sturdy and offer a lot of options for storage. I place them over where my cars are parked!

Sauder Orchard Hill Library

It took some time to assemble, more than 2 hours. Especially, if you are alone, it is tough--but doable. I did it by myself. However, if you can find a helper, that will help greatly. The fully assembled unit is quite heavy. You have to erect it from the laydown position after the full assembly. One regular size guy can do it, but maybe not a 5 ft woman.

I really need one more of these, but I am a little reluctent when I think of the sweat I had to shed when assembling the first one. But after everything is assembled, it is a beautiful, sturdy bookshelf. Very elegant. Great match to my elegant APT !

We have owned this bookcase for over 15 years, and it has stood the test of time. We overload the shelves, pile things on top, have hauled it to 3 different homes, and it has held up very well.

We are planning to buy two more units -the matching ones with cabinet doors on the bottom to make a library set -filling up a wall with bookcases. For the money, this is a great, durable product. Of course, it ISN'T "real" wood, so if that is what you want, go ahead and spend the money. This, however, looks great and holds up very well. Great bargain and long-term solution.

I own two of these bookshelves. Sandwitched in between is this one with doors: Orchard Hills 2-Door Library Bookcase Carolina Oak. The bookshlef is sturdy with one fixed shelf and three adjustable shelves. The bookshelves are heavy, so it helps to have two people assemble, although I did it myself. The entire process requires a hammer, a screwdriver, and about 2 hours. It looks beautiful when finished. I have had my bookshelves for over 10 years and they are still in great shape with no warping or sagging of the sides or shelves. They can be attached to a wall stud with accompaning hardware if small children are in the home. This is a very good idea, as kids may try to climb the shelves and perhaps pull the entire bookshelf down atop themselves. The shelves can be adjusted to variable heights. I like this feature.

The oak veneeer is durable but does not tolerate standing water, so don't put a beverage on the shelf without a cup protector.
