I looked around a bit for this type of shelves. These met our needs perfectly. They arrived quickly, were packaged well and were easy to install.

I bought two of this shelves for my office, it has the adequate size for my project. These are going over my white desks, they have a beautiful mantle shelf style and good quality. Although they are a little tricky to install, that shouldn't be a problem for most.

Inter-LOK IL8489001 Two Cabinet and Three-Shelf Storage System

Bought 8 of these cabinets a year ago for the garage. Very easy to snap together and they look good. We have not overloaded the shelves but both the cabinet shelves and the long between-cabinet add-on shelves are now sagging. So I can't say I would buy these again.

Corner 45" TV Stand

Arrived on time in perfect condition; the box, too! Easy to assemble by one person; looks great in the TV room under the 42" Plasma TV. A highlight of the room.

I've owned this corner TV stand for a number of years and it's perfect for medium or small condo living rooms. I've had a 40" TV on it, with additional components on the shelves below. It fits in different decors. A year ago I moved to another condo and the stand was easy to dismantle, pack and reassemble in my new home, and looks as great as it did when brand new. Highly recommend it.

For the price it is a very nice stand and holds my 50" tv just right. I wouldn't put a larger tv on it though. Probably should have gotten one with the dark legs because this stand almost disappears in my room which may not be a bad thing.

I purchased a wire rack and put it in a closet near my kitchen to use as a pantry. I ordered these liners and they work perfectly to help cans, jars, from tilting and falling. I didn't have to cut mine down to size, but I imagine they'd be pretty easy to do. Very pleased!

Winsome Wood Shelf, Espresso

We're a family of bookworms who've had to get creative about adding linear feet of shelving. We also love oversize hardbound books and folios, so we need sturdy storage. A few months ago, I found these low-rise units on Amazon and realized they would fit in some unused space under a picture window. I ordered a single unit as kind of a test run to see how I liked the shelf in person -color, stability, durability.

That shelf rated a solid six stars. I easily assembled it solo (instructions call for two-person assembly); the wood pieces were true and of reassuring heft, so I was able to put heavy books on both lower shelves and smaller items surrounded by movable decorative bookends on the top shelf (you could easily leave it bare or put collectibles there).

Unfortunately, the second piece I ordered had flaws in terms of the coloring of the finish. Because two of the three shelves and both of the rear rails are reversible, I was able to minimize the visual impact. I'm using these as bookshelves, the color issue is not a problem, but I wanted to note it for those who may be considering leaving most of the wood visible. Winsome's basket sets certainly would cover any areas and are designed to work with this line of shelves.

After a vigorous internal debate, as hinted at by the title of this review, I've given this shelf four stars. For me, the positives outweigh the negatives. It's sturdy, it's solid wood, I love the espresso tone, and it's a good value. As of this writing in May 2009, this product is sorted into the "bathroom" category and it does seem as though it would handle the humidity. However, to my mind it is well suited for a bedroom, living room or home office.

I needed an additional bookcase in my bedroom and didn't want anything too big...or too expensive. I was a little worried ordering this as some of this manufacturer's pieces weren't reviewed too well (pieces scratched, didn't fit, etc.)

It arrived and I immediately opened it to make sure it was okay. No problems. Well, a tiny scratch on the back side of the top shelf...not a big deal since this will sit against the wall. I put it together by myself in about 25 minutes. I did go the extra step of putting some wood glue (not included, but even white glue will work) on the dowel pieces and on the little caps that cover the screws (it comes with 12 screws, and Allen wrench, and the little wooden caps that cover the holes.)

It looks very nice. The top doesn't sit perfectly on the sides, the middle of the side pieces are just slightly larger than the ends so the top has tiny gaps under it in the front and back. It could have been more flush, but it isn't fine furniture...and the gaps are really only noticeable when you look at it straight on from low in the front...and they are small...less than 16th of an inch. I wasn't sanding or planing for that small of an amount.

It feels very study and is already full with books. I sort of wish I picked one with adjustable shelves, but choose this because it was made of wood, not particleboard and plastic laminate. I really like it.

I put it together alone in about 20 minutes. It seems well made and durable. It's attractive. What more can you ask of a basic, cheap bookshelf?

I like that it has rails behind the shelves, to help the books stay on, as my books like to slide off the back of open shelves.

Note that this is not foldable and not stackable. I knew this when I ordered, but many other items that compete with it are so I thought I'd mention.

The wood, instead of being the glossy espresso that I was hoping for, is not that glossy and has different tones of espresso throughout. Probably not noticeable much unless you're up close to it. Also, with the shipping charge, it's pretty pricey for what I think is lower-quality furniture. Oh, and one of the flush that hides the holes where the screwes go in was missing in my shipment. Not a big deal for most, but it's kinda annoying. I paid for that little piece of wood!

The unit arrived on time, in great shape. When I opened the box I found all the parts wrapped in heavy weight paper protective covering and bound together with a strap to prevent individual parts from moving around and chaffing or otherwise marring the finish.

Assemble instructions say two people needed...maybe for a much larger shelf unit, but I doubt it. This unit on assemble scale of 1 5 is a 1-1.5 MAX!...as for being solid when assembled...that's a 5+...This baby isn't going anywhere...

Before you buy this item makes sure you already have the 25" upright extensions that actually hold these shelves up. Otherwise, you will need to special order them. These are shelves only, and do not come with the brackets (extensions) that attach to the wall. This in no way should be called a "kit". After buying shelves and extensions, you are economically better off ordering an entire closet kit and having leftover pieces for another closet or laundry room than buying these items seperately.

I bought four of this item so I can complete my walk-in closet. They were delivered promptly and it was very easy to assemble. The bad side is that I had to buy extensions separetly so I can fis them to the walls...I think it should have been provided in the box... and the sipping of the extension is a ripp off : a single tiny long piece of metal in a very large box that could contain 20 of those pieces... WHY ????? ?????

This set includes 2 26" Rubbermaid Configurations shelves and 4 brackets to hold them on to an existing Configurations closet organization kit. You can add 4' of shelving to your kit either by overlapping the two shelves (side by side) or using them separately; one above the other.

I installed a custom 3'-6' Configurations kit and couldn't use the vertical extensions, but found that additional shelving made my closet more functional. This is a relatively inexpensive way to organize a small space and if you don't use all the parts from one kit, hold on to them as you may find uses for them if you end up rearranging the existing kit or installing one in another closet.

The picture for these shelves is deceptive. You only get the shelves and nothing to attach the arms. The description says you get brackets but you do not get all of the brackets. I would not have made this purchase if I knew I was not getting what was pictured in the advertisement. The shelves are totally worthless unless you make another purchase. Poor performance on the part of Amazon.

I ordered three of these, and when they delivered, all the boxes were damaged on all four corners. Oh no, I thought. But inside the boxes these were carefully packaged, with plastic caps between each shelf on all four corners. Nothing was damaged except the boxes! They were relatively easy to assemble, and it didn't take me long to set up all three. I would recommend these to anyone, for just about any use since they look great too.

I have several units of these black 72inch 5-tier shelves which I purchased a few years ago and I recently bought two new unit to expand my storage capacity. The new units (#21856) are stamped with the same logo (Sensible Storage) as my old units, but they differ quite a bit in the construction of the shelves (the posts look the same). The shelves are constructed with narrower gauge steel and they give quite a bit when I step on them, unlike my old units. In retrospect, I noticed that these shelves claim to hold 350lb per shelf whereas my old unit was rated for 800lbs. I thought I would point this out to anyone expecting a heavy-duty unit. These shelves are fine for less demaning loads.

the space I had. This shelving is so strong you can store

anything on it! I even put it together on my own!

The WIREtech product is awsome. I have 3 different units in my garage/ 3 different sizes. I found my parts list on the manufacturer's website: The product is from Sensible Solutions. You can find alot cheaper wheels that work just as well at Lowes or Menards and not have to pay the high prices you find at some of the online stores. I have 2/3/4" wheels under minework great!!

I bought this to add shelf space in our small kitchen. The black finish is very stylish. We decided it needed an additional shelf and a shelf liner. Neither were available through Amazon....found them at a site called Organizedliving.com. Manufacturer's packaging is not durable enough for courier handling. This helps organizing the kitchen very well. My 16pc dinnerware fits in these organizers pretty good. Keeps the plates, bowls clean and provides easy access to the zip locks and foils. One drawback is, the foil/zip lock organizer comes with screws that are to be nailed to the closet door which I do not prefer. No one does. So, I bought the little plastic hook with strips that sticks to the door and hung it. (The suction hooks won't work on a wooden door.)

Other than that, it's a great product, I would buy another set when needed.

So helpful in my cabinets. Don't have a lot of storage, so this helped make things actually fit better and is now organized. Sturdy for heavy casserole dishes. Great prices, great buy!

I finally got tired of messy cupboards with a bunch of junk (as well as useful things) I couldn't find. So I searched Amazon for organizers, and got about 3 different shipments. Now the kitchen cupboards are more accessible, washcloths and pillowcases hang separately in their own little basket in the linnen closet, and I even have a some of my computer electronics organized with a surge suppressor in a basket under my desk, with wires threaded through the holes.

I originally just wanted the wrapper holder, but decided to get this set since I also find those little shelves useful. I really like the spice rack organizer! The lid holder was disappointing, since the notches in it seem to prove too small to be useful, and very small lids don't really fit in it.
