Wrought iron Pot Rack w/ Shelf and Hooks-Wall Mounted

I purchased this pot rack because I didn't have room for a ceiling rack and I actually have it on the wall behind my kitchen door. It holds a lot in a small space. This pot rack is heavy duty wrought iron and very well made. I have four smaller stainless steel pots with lids sitting on the top shelf. There are five rungs that make up the top shelf which are one and a half inches apart from each other where you could put your lids up vertically if you wanted. Along with the three hooks on the rack, I used a package of six Cuisenart iron hooks I purchased on Amazon to hang a mixture of four cast iron, one carbon steel, and four Chantal copper fusion pans (heavy duty pans, not quite as heavy as cast iron) with lids. The dimensions are exactly as described and there are four holes in the iron with which to hang the rack. My husband used toggle bolts to hang it through dry wall and it is holding all that weight very nicely. The holes for hanging it are 25" apart horizontally and 9" apart vertically. There was a little chipped paint in two corners where it was welded but we will be fixing up some iron patio furniture this summer so I will dab a little paint on the rack at that time, so no big deal. The shipping was much faster than I thought it would be as I received it within 3-4 days after ordering it, which was a happy surprise! Wish I knew how to include a picture in this review (I'm not very tech-savvy!), as the pictures shown really don't do it justice and are taken too far away to see detail, but it is a beautiful and heavy duty pot rack that looks great in my kitchenand definately worth the priceI love it and I also love that it's made in the U.S.A.!

I've purchased this Amish made pot rack along with another "Wrought Iron Pot Rack--Half Round with 8 hooks Amish Made" also found here on Amazon. The Half Round pot rack is much more functional as a pot rack with the 8 removable hooks, but I've installed this pot rack to place below the other one to use as a wall shelf. I was slightly disappointed to find out that the 3 hooks that you see on the photo are welded/attached, since I was planning on removing them. The hooks that come with the Half Round rack don't work on this item with rounder bars in case you are wondering. Otherwise, both pieces look like they're a perfectly coordinated set with matching iron scroll work. The shelf depth actually is 7 1/2" from the wall once installed, so I was glad that it is slightly deeper than described. The installation holes are 25" apart (two on top, two on bottom), so you'll need to use 4 hollow wall anchors or toggle bolts unless you have a strange stud configuration in your home (usually 16" apart). I feel so lucky to have found these inexpensive but quality Amish made products on Amazon more please!

ClosetMaid 2-Door Stackable Laminate Organizer

We have had our cabinet for well over a year and have had no complaints so far. Other reviews have lamented broken doors and weak hinges, and buyers should really take those reviews into consideration, but it hasn't happened here. However, our cabinet endures only the lightest use. We bought this cabinet to serve as a small liquor cabinet/bar area in our master suite. We wanted something that closed up out of the way and didn't draw attention to itself, something inexpensive yet functional, and something we could reuse for another purpose later. This fit the bill. We installed wine glass racks inside for the upper space, and store liquor bottles in the lower space. (We only used one shelf.) We placed marble tiles on top and our wine sits well on top. Small hooks on the inside and doors for bar accessories, and this has turned into a very small, very practical piece.

However, we don't open or use this cabinet every day. Not even close. If you plan to use this cabinet for daily use, the less-glowing reviews that reveal the hinge flaws are more appropriate. If you plan to use the cabinet for storage, but not daily opening (like us), this review might be more appropriate.

The rest of the Closetmaid line may be OK, but the cabinets have doors. The particle board on these doors is not strong enough to hold up with the pin hinge that is inserted. Within one month of use, two of my three cabinets had doors that literally fell off due to the particle board breaking off at the lower outside corner, therefore no longer being able to hold it's pin hinge. I might try to install home depot door hinges on them to repair them.

This cabinet has a really low price, which is nice. But it is really poorly made. It is the cheapest fiberboard. It does look nice in the picture. But I think that you will not be at all happy when you actually get the unit. I bought two of these, and one arrived with a panel cracked.

I've had this for a day so I can't tell much about durability. But I figure if I use it with care and not rough it will be fine. Easy to assemble.

These bins stack very well (only with other bins of same size), hold lots of small to medium pieces, and don't have any corners that things get stuck in. The bins are very rugged. They have room for a label tag in front, and accept front-to-back dividers. A rack is available to hang bins on. Another option (not sold at Amazon) is a clear plastic lid. Bins come in choice of three colors.

Cons:

Don't stack at all with different sized bins. A bit expensive.

Black Mountain Console Table

The console arrived on time and I proceeded to assemble it. The wood is solid and the pieces fit together nicely. However, when I used a damp cloth as instructed to clean the surface some of the markings did not come off. Upon closer inspection I could see how the top shelf, the most prominent and visible, had marks caused by something in the manufacturing process at the factory. They are unsightly and ruin the effect of the whole piece. I have tried damp cloths and wood surface products to no avail. At a brick and mortar store this item would be tagged "As Is" and reduced in price. It is far too much trouble to disassemble the console, package it and send it back. What a disappointment. The company should offer a discount in such cases. This is one more reason not to buy online.

Nice fit and finish at a good price. It is darker than the picture. I don't know why one reviewer had trouble putting it together; everything fit together better than any other boxed furniture I've assembled. All of the holes matched up. The only tool needed is a medium size Phillips screwdriver. The instructions are pretty much just drawings, but they are clear and there is nothing complicated about the assembly. (If you've never encountered those screw-disks before, just know to insert them so the opening points to where the screw will be inserted.)

Two recommendations on putting this together: (1) Use a power screwdriver/drill. My drill battery was drained, so I turned all screws by hand. The 20 screws for the back panels and 28 for the door left me a little sore and blistered. (2) Put the shelves in before adjusting the doors. This is probably obvious to everyone else, but I wasted a lot of time trying to adjust the doors so they met before I realized the shelves serve as a stop. After that, adjusting the doors was easy. Turning the "width" screw on each latch did it for me. I adjusted the doors so there was maybe a quarter-inch gap between the door and the side, using a flashlight to check that the gap was consistent from top to bottom.

A friend recently moved cross country and got rid of most of her furniture before moving. She had been using an old bookcase for her TV stand and had pretty limited space in her living room. I sent this to her as a house warming gift. She was THRILLED with it. When she called to say thank you, she reported "Wow, this is my only real piece of 'grown up' furniture!" She really likes the slight bowing on the sides and said that the finish is even and rich in color. She said that it gave the piece real character. She did said that it did take her a couple hours to put together but once it was together, it was very stable and was didn't have any wobble even with her heavy television on it. I'm tempted to replace my existing entertainment center with the larger version of this product after hearing her response to it. I would highly recommend it...as would she. :)

We had been looking for an audio cabinet for months because of a room reconfiguration. These turned out to be the perfect size and color for the area. The directions were not "Step by step" but were easy enough to work through. The first cabnet (we ordered 2) went together in about 1 1/2 hours. The second took about 40 minutes. The cabnets are solid, hold large audio equipment and have enough air to keep things cool. The glass hinged doors fit and work well and are really easy to adjust if needed. The only improvement that could be made would be to the back of the cabinet. The back comes in 2 pieces (which can leave a gap in the middle if you're not careful with assembly and the "Cut outs" for wire access are not optional, they are pre cut and open. All in all we are very happy with the purchase and would do it again. Delivery was quick and everything arrived in great shape.

This ready-to-assemble (RTA) cabinet was actually an enjoyable project to build (with two people), and the finished cabinet is a handsome addition to our living room. The packing of the parts is a work of art that fully protected everything from any damage during shipping. The reviews of others were invaluable to us for two reasons: a) they accurately pointed to a well-designed product that is a great value for the money and b) gave us tips based on the real-world experiences of others that helped us avoid frustrating and puzzling challenges along the way. Most RTA instruction booklets leave out, incorrectly identify, or inaccurately explain the project ... and this one's no exception. You won't be sorry you spent the time looking over other reviews, especially about the use of a manual vs. power tool; the shelving going in prior to the doors going on; and the adjustment of the doors. Our booklet actually had an illustration that was for a different hinge (and with inaccurate direction for changing door height). The reality is that a 1/8" difference can't be seen from the perspective of a standing adult ... or one across the room viewing the TV. Sometimes we look for perfection where it isn't called for. Bottom line: a great buy, a sturdy cabinet, a good looking finish and design.

This bookshelf arrived on time and, when assembled, looks exactly like the one on the site.

Mine was not damaged, although carelessness in assembly left one annoying chip out of the basemy bad but easy to do with boards this thin.

Pros: Lightweight aesthetic, certainly sturdy enough to hold lots of books (although I wouldn't try to fit, say, the encyclopedia britannica). As described and easy to assemble.

Cons: Easier to damage than products with very thick boards. Packing peanuts adhered to the wood via static electricity and were challenging to remove (minor).

When looking at the pictures on the web site, the shelving appears to be angled back. That was my main reason for buying 2 of these. When I received them, I saw they were 4 shelf, upright units and not angled back.

Anyway, the price was reasonable and the construction is sturdy, so all-in-all a good buy but if you are looking for an angled unit, you have to do it yourself like I did ;-)

After looking for days for a vertical TV stand, I found this beauty, and I was impressed. If I could design a stand myself (and I've built furniture before) I would certainly come close to copying this design. It's sleek looking, it leans back ever so subtly. Minimalistic, modern, fun. Receiving the actual product.. well it lost two stars from reality kicking in. The wood was a bit dinged up here and there, and the way the holes wouldn't line up, was almost comical and almost troubling. Yet it still came together solidly, sturdily. I set a 40" TV atop this, and I wouldn't recommend much bigger. I've put all my other AV gear on these shelves, and as long as nobody climbs on it, I am happy. In a perfect world, for double the price, I could have dreamt of stained oak boards, but for this price, I'll forgive the imperfections. As an aside; oddly enough, the styrofoam packaging was disintegrating as if this had been sitting in storage for 20 years; I hope that's not the case. But so what; finely-aged wood is a bragging point! To the manufacturers I suggest: put $10 more into nicer wood, deeper paint job, better sealing, and you can charge $30 more for this cool design. I do recommend this, especially if you need to go vertical. Beware of the dings, and the sloppily engineered holes, and you'll still like it. B+ grade from me.

I ordered this for my home office and was not pleased when I opened the package. Many of the corners were crushed and the cheap materials were crumbling off. The coloring is a bit off and after putting it all together, it doesn't seem too sturdy. I was hoping to buy the matching sets of these, but seeing it now, I think it is wise to throw out that idea. I gave it 2 stars because I like the concept and look of the shelves, they just need to get better materials and package it for shipping better.

Oeuf Classic Collection Mini Library

I had been looking at this shelving unit for quite some time. The design is gorgeous and I love the colors. I finally ordered it from Amazon it took about two weeks to get to me. There were about 20 wood pieces and a hundred screws and bolts. It took me over two hours to get the shelves together (you need two people) and another hour of extreme frustration to get one of the swinging doors on. The second swinging door was utterly hopeless to screw on straight and I am pretty good at putting stuff together. So, I now have this unit missing a door which is such a drag but it looks okay. Again, the design is very pretty. But the hassle to put it together and the lack of a second working swinging door makes this a RISKY PURCHASE. I'm not sure I'd buy it again in hindsight.

We have several Oeuf furniture pieces (armoire, twin bed and these shelves). The shelves, hands down, are my favorite. As all Oeuf pieces go, they are well made, and the design can really suit any decor. They are relatively easy to assemble (I did them myself), super durable (think tiny children banging down toys), and wonderfully accessible for the kids. My one-year-old daughter enjoys taking every book off the shelf! The 2 smaller closed cabinets are great for hiding unsightly, messy things (like hair elastics), but my daughter also likes to pretend it is an oven (and bakes pretend objects in it).

The only things i MIGHT change: wish it came in an optional all white so it was more mix and match-y (and not so match-y) with the other Oeuf items (I wish this about all their furniture), and I am unsure how I feel about the fact that you can see the screw ends. It kind of gives an industrial looks (only a tiny bit) and you can hide them with objects. Like I said--I sort of love/hate it. Lastly, the taller shelf could be slightly taller as their are some classic children's books (Make Way for Ducklings, Madeline) that don't fit standing up (too tall), but I just put them sideways, so its fine.

I should also mention that Oeuf has wonderful customer service. Some of the best I have dealt with.

I highly recommend this, and other Oeuf products.

We ordered the crib, dresser, and hutch from the same Oeuf line and we love them all. This piece also did not disappoint. Much like the other pieces, the library has a mid century modern feel and is superior quality. It's super versatile and I found that the Skip Hop square organizers fit really well into it. It is what is described in the product description. The quality is superb, the appearance is just a thing of beauty to enjoy, especially on a plain clean white wall, it is a bit expensive compared to other 2-level wall shelf but the aesthetic side of this thing made all the extra bucks worth every penny. It goes perfectly with my bezel-less SamSung 3DTV. I wish I could insert pictures in this review. The wire management system is very thoughtful though it seems only capable of hiding two HDMI cable at most on each side given the fact that the HDMI cables are thick. Overall, it is a solid wall shelf with a gorgeous appearance. Highly recommend it to people who also like high quality glassy shelf like myself.
